People with motor disorders and friendship
Cilj ovog kvalitativnog istraživanja je dobiti uvid u perspektive osoba s motoričkim poremećajima u kontekstu prijateljstva. Istaknut je način doživljavanja prijateljstva, što ono za njih predstavlja, kakvo je zadovoljstvo prijateljskim odnosima te koje izazove u sklapanju i zadržavanju prijateljstva prepoznaju. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo šest osoba s područja Republike Hrvatske. Za prikupljanje podataka korišten je polustrukturirani intervju, a obrada podataka podrazumijevala je tematsku analizu. Rezultati su pokazali da osobe s motoričkim poremećajima doživljavaju prijateljstvo kao otvoren odnos, temeljen na povjerenju i poštovanju. U tom odnosu im je bitno da se njihova osobnost nalazi iznad invaliditeta uz razumijevanje i prihvaćanje bez opravdanja te da je prisutna obostrana komunikacija i iskrenost. Izazovi s kojima se susreću u sklapanju prijateljstva vezani su uz društvene predrasude, neosviještenost osoba bez invaliditeta i nepoznavanje pristupa kod osoba bez invaliditet. Također, izazovi uključuju i probleme u obrazovnom sustavu, ali i različite osobine ličnosti te teškoće u komorbiditetu. Kao dodatni izazovi u zadržavanju prijateljstva pokazali su se i mjesto stanovanja, prostorna neprilagođenost te zahtjevnost organizacije mjesta i vremena druženja. Sama procjena zadovoljstva prijateljskim odnosima vrlo je subjektivna i uglavnom ovisi o osobinama ličnosti, ali i o utjecaju okoline.The aim of this qualitative research is to gain insight into the perspectives of individuals with motor impairments/disabilities in the context of/ in regards to friendship. The focus was on how they experience friendship, what it means to them, how satisfied are they with their friendships, and the challenges they recognize in forming and maintaining these relationships. Six people from the Republic of Croatia participated in the research. A semi-structured interview was used to collect data, and data processing involved thematic analysis. The results showed that people with motor disabilities experience friendship as an open relationship based on trust and respect. In this relationship, it is important for them that their personal position is above disability with understanding and acceptance without justification, and that there is mutual communication and honesty. The challenges they face in making friends are related to social prejudices, lack of awareness from people without disabilities as well as lack of knowledge of the approach from people without disabilities. The challenges also include problems in the education system, in addition to different personality traits and difficulties in comorbidity. The place of residence, spatial maladjustment and the demands of organizing the place and time for socializing have also proven to be challenges in maintaining friendships. The assessment of satisfaction with friendships is very subjective and depends mainly on personality traits, but also on the influence of the environment
Mechanical recycling of the trimmer line : diploma thesis
U ovom radu ispitan je utjecaj mehaničkog recikliranja na strukturu i toplinsku postojanost materijala od kojeg su izrađene niti za košnju. Niti za košnju su mehanički reciklirane u laboratorijskom dvopužnom ekstruderu. Infracrvena spektroskopija s Fourierovom transformacijom (FT-IR) upotrijebljena je za identifikaciju polimernog materijala od kojeg su izrađene niti te za određivanje strukture materijala nakon recikliranja. Usporedbom snimljenih FT-IR spektrograma s podatcima u literaturi i bazi podataka utvrđeno je da je poliamid 6 (poli( -kaprolaktam)) polimer od kojeg su izrađene niti za košnju. Također je utvrđeno da mehaničko recikliranje nije utjecalo na strukturu niti za košnju. Utjecaj mehaničkog recikliranja na toplinsku postojanost niti za košnju istraživan je primjenom termogravimetrijske analize (TG). Zaključeno je da mehaničko recikliranje neznatno poboljšava toplinsku postojanost materijala od kojeg su izrađene niti za košnju.In this paper, influence of mechanical recycling on the structure and thermal stability of the material from which the trimmer lines were made was examined. Trimmer lines were mechanically recycled in a laboratory twin screw extruder. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) was used to identify the polymer material from which the lines were made and to determine the structure of the material after recycling. By comparing the recorded FT-IR spectrograms with the data in the literature and the database, it was determined that polyamide 6 (poly( -caprolactam)) is the polymer from which the trimmer lines were made. It was also found that mechanical recycling did not affect the structure of the trimmer lines. The influence of mechanical recycling on the thermal stability of trimmer lines was investigated using thermogravimetric analysis (TG). It was concluded that mechanical recycling slightly improves the thermal stability of the material from which the trimmer lines were made
Robotic Process Automation: A Case Study of Process in an Insurance Company
Ovaj rad bavi se primjenom robotske automatizacije procesa (engl. robotic process automation – RPA) u poslovnim sustavima, s posebnim naglaskom na industriju osiguranja. Cilj istraživanja bio je analizirati učinkovitost RPA sustava u optimizaciji poslovnih procesa, smanjenju operativnih troškova i povećanju produktivnosti zaposlenika. Kroz rad su istraženi ključni izazovi i prednosti implementacije RPA tehnologije, s fokusom na sigurnost, integraciju s postojećim IT sustavima te utjecaj na radnu snagu. U istraživanju je korištena studija slučaja koja prikazuje praktičnu implementaciju RPA tehnologije u procesu klasifikacije e-mailova u osiguravajućem društvu. Analiza je pokazala kako primjena softverskih robota značajno smanjuje vrijeme obrade podataka, povećava točnost i transparentnost poslovanja te poboljšava usklađenost s regulatornim zahtjevima. Zaključno, rad potvrđuje da RPA predstavlja ključnu tehnologiju za digitalnu transformaciju organizacija, a njezina kombinacija s umjetnom inteligencijom i strojnim učenjem omogućava daljnju evoluciju i optimizaciju poslovnih procesa.This thesis explores the application of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in business systems, with a particular focus on the insurance industry. The objective of the research was to analyze the effectiveness of RPA systems in optimizing business processes, reducing operational costs, and increasing employee productivity. The study examines key challenges and advantages of RPA implementation, with a focus on security, integration with existing IT systems, and its impact on the workforce. A case study was conducted to demonstrate the practical implementation of RPA technology in the email classification process within an insurance company. The analysis revealed that the use of software robots significantly reduces data processing time, increases accuracy and transparency, and enhances regulatory compliance. In conclusion, the study confirms that RPA is a crucial technology for digital transformation in organizations, and its combination with artificial intelligence and machine learning enables further evolution and optimization of business processes
Design and testing of bicycle lock properties
Lokoti su naprave kojima se predmeti vežu i osiguravaju od provale. Najvažniji dijelovi lokota su brava koja se nalazi u kućištu lokota i zakrivljena šipka koja obuhvaća predmete. Kvaliteta i sigurnost lokota ovisi primarno o mehaničkim svojstvima materijala i konstrukcije mehanizma brave.. U radu su opisane brave s kombinacijom položaja cilindara i fizičkim ključem te njihovi mehanizmi rada. Zakrivljene šipke, lanci ili čelična užad koja obuhvaća predmete moraju biti otporni na udarce, velike sile savijanja, i rezanja u slučaju provale. Opisani su uvjeti za izbor materijala za izradu šipki lokota: čvrstoća, visoka površinska tvrdoća, korozijska postojanost, žilavost na sobnoj i niskim temperaturama, otpornost na abraziju i ostali. Prema ovim zahtjevima odabran je materijal i proizvedene su tri zakrivljene šipke od čelika za cementiranje 20MnCr5, kompatibilne sa tržišno dostupnom bravom lokota za zaključavanje bicikla. Na dvije komercijalno dostupe šipke i uzorcima cementiranih šipki provedena su ispitivanja tvrdoće i kemijskog sastava. Na metalografskom uzorku cementirane šipke provedena su ispitivanja mikrostrukture i određena je efektivna dubina cementiranja. Na temelju rezultata ispitivanja tvrdoće procijenjena je vlačna čvrstoća komercijalnih i u radu izrađenih šipki. Prema dobivenim rezultatima cementirana šipka lokota je boljih mehaničkih svojstava od tržišno dostupnih šipki..Locks are devices with which objects are tied and secured against burglary. The most important parts of the lock (whole device) are the lock, which is located in the padlock housing, and the curved bar that encloses the items.. The quality and security of a padlock depends primarily on the mechanical properties of the material and the design of the lock mechanism. The paper describes locks with a combination of cylinder positions and a physical key and their operating mechanisms. Curved bars, chains or steel ropes that enclose objects must be resistant to impacts, high bending forces, shearing and cutting in the event of a burglary. The conditions for selecting materials for making lock rods are described: strength, high surface hardness, corrosion resistance, toughness at room and low temperatures, abrasion resistance and others. According to these requirements, the material was selected and three curved rods made of case-hardening steel 20MnCr5 were produced, compatible with a commercially available padlock for locking bicycles. Hardness and chemical composition tests were carried out on two commercially available rods and samples of case-hardened rods. Microstructure tests were performed on the metallographic sample of the cemented rod and the effective carburizing depth was determined. Based on the results of the hardness test, the tensile strength of the commercial and field-made bars was estimated. According to the obtained results, the cemented padlock bar has better mechanical properties than commercially available bars.
Determination of cobalt, molybdenum and antimony in encapsulated dietary supplements using the GFAAS technique
Globalni porast prevalencije i incidencije upalnih bolesti crijeva potaknuo je razvoj i primjenu novih terapijskih pristupa, uključujući dodatke prehrani kao pomoćnu terapiju. Njihova sve šira dostupnost i kontinuirani rast potrošnje istaknuli su važnost sustavne procjene njihove kvalitete i sigurnosti, osobito u kontekstu dugotrajne primjene. S ciljem ispitivanja sigurnosti navedenih pripravaka, ovaj rad usmjeren je na određivanje koncentracija potencijalno toksičnih elementarnih onečišćenja antimona, molibdena i kobalta u kapsuliranim dodacima prehrani namijenjenima liječenju upalnih bolesti crijeva. Analiza je provedena primjenom grafitne atomske apsorpcijske spektrometrije (GFAAS), a rezultati su uspoređeni s propisanim vrijednostima dopuštenog dnevnog unosa (PDE) prema smjernicama ICH Q3D. Utvrđeno je da su sve izmjerene koncentracije elemenata ispod maksimalno dopuštenih granica, čime se potvrđuje sigurnost analiziranih pripravaka za oralnu primjenu. Nadalje, opažene su niže koncentracije elemenata u mekim kapsulama u odnosu na tvrde kapsule, što upućuje na moguće razlike u sastavu i tehnologiji formulacije.The global increase in the prevalence and incidence of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has prompted the development and use of new therapeutic strategies, including dietary supplements as adjunct treatment. The growing availability and widespread consumption of such products have highlighted the importance of systematically evaluating their quality and safety, particularly in prolonged use. This study aimed to assess the presence of potentially toxic elemental impurities, antimony, molybdenum, and cobalt in encapsulated dietary supplements intended for the management of IBD. The analysis was conducted using graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS), and the obtained concentrations were compared to the permitted daily exposure (PDE) limits defined by the ICH Q3D guidelines. All measured concentrations were below the established safety thresholds, confirming the safety of the analysed supplements for oral administration. Furthermore, lower concentrations of the investigated elements were observed in soft capsules compared to hard capsules, indicating potential differences in composition and formulation technology
Modular approach toward procedure development of central beam weldment assembly on electric railcar
U ovom radu prikazana je procedura zavarivanja čelične konstrukcije sklopa srednje grede. U
uvodnom dijelu rada je predstavljen sklop srednje grede kao dio konstrukcije elektromotornog
vlaka tvrtke Končar – Električna vozila. Zatim je predstavljena tvrtka ZM-Vikom čija je obveza
proizvesti cjelokupnu konstrukciju modula elektromotornog vlaka. Opisana je tehnologija
zavarivanja sklopa kroz opis nelegiranog konstrukcijskog čelika S355, MAG postupka
zavarivanja te žice za zavarivanje. Prikazan je način definiranja procesa zavarivanja, a samim
time i proizvodnje čelične konstrukcije, u skladu s normom HRN EN 15085: Željeznički sustav
-- Zavarivanje željezničkih vozila i sastavnih dijelova. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada
osmišljena je procedura zavarivanja sklopa srednje grede korištenjem modularnog pristupa
prilikom analize procesa izrade konstrukcije uz dokumentiranje procesa izrade koji se izvršava
korištenjem naprava za sastavljanje i zavarivanje. Podjelom procesa zavarivanja u više koraka
rada uz definiranje svih radnji kojima se proces zavarivanja provjerava i potvrđuje razvijena je
procedura koja nailazi na prihvaćanje. Na temelju razvijene procedure osmišljen je koncept
radnih procedura primjenjiv za analizu procesa zavarivanja i načina njegova provođenja.
Naposlijetku je iznesen zaključak rada.In this paper, the welding procedure of the steel structure of the central beam assembly is presented. In the introductory part of the paper, the central beam assembly is presented as part of the design of the Končar – Električna vozila electric train. Then, the company ZM-Vikom was presented, whose obligation is to produce the entire design of the electric train module. The welding technology of the assembly is described through the description of non-alloy structural steel S355, MAG welding process and welding wire. The method of defining the welding process, and thus the production of steel structures, in accordance with the standard HRN EN 15085: Railway system - Welding of railway vehicles and components is presented. In the experimental part of the paper, the welding procedure of the central beam assembly was designed using a modular approach when analyzing the design process with documenting the manufacturing process performed using assembly and welding devices. By dividing the welding process into several steps of work with the definition of all actions by which the welding process is checked and confirmed, a procedure has been developed that is accepted. Based on the developed procedure, the concept of working procedures applicable to the analysis of the welding process and the manner of its implementation has been developed. Finally, the conclusion of the paper was presented
Presentation and analysis of technological processes of the battery production line
U sklopu Diplomskog rada obrađena je tvrtka Rimac Automobili. Ova trenutno najpoznatija
hrvatska tvrtka u zadnjih desetak godina doživjela je veliki rast i popularnost. Od garaže postali
su tvrtka s proizvedenim najbrže ubrzavajućim automobilom na svijetu koji ulazi u serijsku
proizvodnju. Rimac Automobili d.o.o. postaju dio Rimac grupe te obuhvaćaju dva poduzeća:
Bugatti Rimac (nastaje pripajanjem svjetski poznate marke automobila Bugatti) i Rimac
Technology (proizvodnja i razvoj baterija, različitih električnih sustava i koncepta za
proizvođače automobilske industrije). U tijeku je izgradnja mega projekta pod imenom
Campus. Detalji o navedenom obrađeni su u daljnjem tekstu.
Rimac Technology kao poduzeće u sklopu Rimac grupe razvija visoku tehnologiju u kojoj
prednjači s proizvodnjom baterija na svjetskom tržištu. Obzirom na budućnost automobilske
industrije za temu je uzet upravo tehnološki proces izrade baterije. Uz opis samog proizvoda,
detaljno je analizirana i sastavnica svakog podsklopa koji gradi bateriju te je obrađen tehnološki
proces izrade svakog od navedenih podsklopova podijeljen prema radnim stanicama. Također,
predloženo je idejno rješenje za novi koncept izrade baterija uvođenjem tehnologija povezanih
s Industrijom 4.0. Za kraj, izrađena je simulacija novog procesa izrade s fokusom na
transportnim putevima i logističkom opskrbom proizvodne linije s komponentama potrebnim
za sklapanje baterije.As part of the Master Thesis, the main topic was the company Rimac Automobili. Currently,
the most popular Croatian company has experienced great growth in the last ten years. From a
garage, they became the company with the fastest-accelerating car in the world, which goes
into series production. Rimac Automobili d.o.o. becomes part of the Rimac Group and includes
two companies: Bugatti Rimac (created by merging the world-famous car brand Bugatti) and
Rimac Technology (production and development of batteries, various electrical systems and
concepts for automotive manufacturers). The construction of a mega project called Campus is
underway. Details about this company are discussed below.
As a company within the Rimac Group, Rimac Technology is developing high technology in
which the biggest focus is on production of battery packs for the world market. Considering the
future of the automotive industry, the technological process of making a battery packs has been
taken as a main topic of this thesis. In addition to the description of the product itself, the
component of each subassembly that builds the battery is analyzed in details, and the
technological process of making each of these subassemblies is divided by workstations. Also,
a conceptual solution was proposed for a new concept of making battery packs by introducing
technologies related to Industry 4.0. Finally, a simulation of a new production process was made
with a focus on transport routes and the logistics supply of the production line with the
components needed to assemble the battery pack
Calculation of the Reinforced Concrete Residential Building and Verification of the Possibility of Applying Seismic Isolation with a Layer of Stone Pebbles under the Foundations : Master's Thesis
U radu je prikazan proračun nosive konstrukcije armiranobetonske stambene zgrade. Zgrada se sastoji od prizemlja i dva kata. Proračun i dimenzioniranje nosivih elemenata konstrukcije je provedeno u skladu sa Europskim normama pomoću računalnog programa SCIA Engineer 21.1. Proračunate su rezne sile za temelje, ploče i zidove koji su sukladno tome i armirani. Projekt sadrži tehnički opis konstrukcije, proračun nosivih elemenata te karakteristične građevinske nacrte.Structural analysis of reinforced concrete residential building are presented in this work. The building consist of ground floor and two stories. Calculation of structural elements was performed in accordance with European standards using structural analysis software SCIA Engineer 21.1. Internal forces for the foundations, slabs and walls were calculated and reinforced accordingly. Plan for the production process automatisation by introducing the AMIR-D conveyor belt
U ovom se diplomskom radu pristupilo analizi automatizacije proizvodnog procesa u poduzeću Haix obuća d.o.o. Kroz praktični dio rada, dan je pregled trenutnog stanja određenog dijela proizvodnje na kojem se planira uvođenje automatiziranog načina rada i onog budućeg sa implementiranom AMIR-D pokretnom trakom s integriranim robotima. Kroz široku analizu dana je procjena isplativosti investicije u takav sustav, prednosti uvođenja i utjecaj ovakve promjene na različite odjele u poduzeću, a u konačnici i na cjelokupnu sliku poduzeća.
Detaljnom analizom s tehničkog, financijskog, energetskog i strateškog gledišta došlo se do rezultata i izvedenih zaključaka koji uvelike mogu olakšati donošenje odluke o investiciji u automatizirani sustav. Sam pristup planu automatizacije daje realnu sliku trenutnog procesa i onog planiranog zbog brojnih uključenih utjecajnih faktora i današnjih trendova tržišta.
Praktični dio ovog rada praćen je teorijskim dijelom u kojem su uključeni aspekti industrije 4.0, njezinih tehnologija i ciljeva te aspekti automatizacije s njezinim prednostima, nedostacima, ulogama i strategijama uvođenja.In this master thesis, the analysis of automation of the production process in the company Haix obuća d.o.o. was approached. Through the practical part of this thesis, an overview of the current state of a part of production is given, where the introduction of an automated way of working is planned, as well as on overview of the future way of working that includes AMIR-D conveyor belt with integrated robots. Through a broad analysis, an assessment of the profitability of the investment in such system is given, as well as the advantages and the impact of such change on various department and ultimately on the overall image of the company.
A detailed analysis from a technical, financial, energy and strategic point of view led to results and conclusions that can greatly facilitate the decision on investment in an automated system. The approach to the automation plan itself, gives a realistic picture of the current process and the planned one due to the numerous factors and today’s market trends involved.
The practical part of the paper is followed by a theoretical part, which includes aspects of industry 4.0, its technologies and goals, as well as aspects of automation with its advantages, disadvantages, function and implementation strategies
Aircraft flight simulation in system failure emergency with air traffic management interaction
U ovom diplomskom radu proveden je eksperiment usmjeren na analizu opterećenja pilota u
simuliranim uvjetima otkaza motora. Za potrebe simulacije u stvarnom vremenu, s pilotom u
petlji (engl. pilot-in-the-loop), korišten je matematički model modernog borbenog zrakoplova,
čije su letne karakteristike temeljene na zrakoplovu Dassault Rafale. Postojeća simulacijska
platforma nadograđena je novim prikazima instrumenata kako bi se dodatno povećala
realističnost okruženja.
Eksperimentalni zadatak uključivao je simulirani otkaz jednog od motora, pri čemu su piloti
morali uspostaviti komunikaciju s kontrolorom leta i u skladu s uputama održavati zadane
parametre leta – visinu, brzinu i kurs. Svaki je kandidat izvršio zadatak tri puta čime je
omogućena pouzdanija usporedba izvedbe.
Nakon letačkog dijela prikupljeni su i subjektivni podaci putem NASA-TLX upitnika za
procjenu mentalnog opterećenja, kao i ocjene kvalitete komunikacije s kontrolorom i samog
simulatora. Kombinacijom podataka omogućena je objektivna i subjektivna procjena razine
opterećenja i učinkovitosti pilota.This thesis presents an experiment focused on the analysis of pilot workload under simulated
flight conditions. For the purposes of real-time simulation with a pilot-in-the-loop setup, a
mathematical model of a modern fighter aircraft was employed, with flight characteristics based
on the Dassault Rafale. The existing simulation platform was enhanced with updated cockpit
displays and instrument panels to increase the realism of the virtual environment.
The experimental task involved a simulated failure of one engine, during which pilots were
required to establish communication with an air traffic controller and, in accordance with given
instructions, maintain specific flight parameters — altitude, airspeed, and heading. Each
participant performed the task three times, enabling a more reliable comparison of individual
performance.
Following the flight phase, subjective data were collected using the NASA-TLX questionnaire
to assess mental workload, along with self-reported evaluations of communication quality with
the controller. The combination of objective and subjective data allowed for a comprehensive
assessment of both the workload level and performance efficiency of the pilots
