No full textRad predstavlja analizu pisanja hrvatskih medija o temi cijepljenja protiv bolesti Covid-19. Naglasak će biti na analizi internetskih portala, a cilj je rada utvrditi utjecaj medija na javnost prilikom donošenja odluke o cijepljenju ili protiv cijepljenja. Istražit će se informacije i dezinformacije, kao i izvori iz kojih ih mediji crpe. Rad će ponuditi odgovor na pitanje kako pristupati informacijama dostupnima u medijima, posebno kada su u pitanju teme oko kojih postoje različita i kontroverzna mišljenja.The paper presents an analysis of Croatian media writings on the topic of vaccination against Covid-19 disease. The emphasis will be on the analysis of Internet portals, and the aim of this paper is to determine the influence of the media on the public when making a decision on vaccination or against vaccination. Information and misinformation will be investigated, as well as the sources from which the media draws them. The paper will offer an answer to the question of how to access the information available in the media, especially when it comes to topics around which there are different and controversial opinions
A Comparative Analysis of the Content of Weekly Magazines Nacional and Express
No full textU hrvatskim tjednicima, koji imaju fokus na politici tj. prvenstveno su politički tjednici, uočava se razlika u pristupu tekstovima. Njihove glavne teme, zbog kojih ih ljudi kupuju, uglavnom su utemeljene na istraživačkom novinarstvu i provjerljivim informacijama. U nekim tjednicima tekstovi imaju snažnije potkrjepljenje, dok u drugima nedostaje dovoljno indikacija o provjerljivosti koje će dokazati točnost iznesenih informacija. Uz to, tjednici često mame čitatelje raznim bombastičnim naslovnicama i naslovima, ali oni se uvijek ne podudaraju sa sadržajem teksta. Primjećuje se i razlika u omjeru tematskih cjelina u tjednicima. Na primjer, neki imaju više tema iz kulture, dok drugi imaju više tema iz energetike.In Croatian weekly magazines, which have a focus on politics i.e. they are primarily political weekly magazines, there is a noticeable distinction in the approach to writing. Their main topics and the reason why people buy them, are based upon investigative journalism and verifiable information. In some weekly magazines, texts have stronger corroboration of published information, while others lack enough indication of corroboration which will prove the accuracy of presented information. Weekly magazines often lure readers with a bombastic front page and headlines, but those do not always coincide with the information presented in the text. There is also a noticeable difference when it comes to the ratio of topics that are discussed in weekly magazines. For example, some of them will cover more topics from culture, while others will cover more topics from the energy sector

No full textTehnološki napredak otvorio je mnoge mogućnosti i učinio dostupnijim brojne informacije. No, problem nastaje kada se u obzir uzme činjenica da je danas sve manje odgojnih sadržaja, a sve više manipulativnih. Elektronički mediji danas imaju važnu ulogu u životima djece i mladih. Može se reći kako mediji, a ponajviše upravo internet, mladima predstavljaju izvor informativnih, zabavnih sadržaja koji prenose različite poruke o životu, životnim vrijednostima i aktualnim trendovima te tako na neposredan način utječu na njih. Internet je danas ujedno i jedan od temeljnih čimbenika socijalizacije mladog naraštaja. Djeca sve više vremena provode pred različitim uređajima „surfajući“ internetom. Problem istraživanja jest uvidjeti rizike s kojima se susreću djeca na internetu te prepoznati potencijalne mogućnosti njihove zaštite. Kao što je već navedeno, broj rizika nije mjerljiv. Rizici su brojni, a jedini načini na koji se mogu izbjeći prije svega su educiranost i zaštita. Ovdje se ponajprije naglasak stavlja na osiguranje pravne zaštite, ali i educiranje djece, kako od roditelja tako i od različitih institucija i škole. Ako se djeca uče odgovornom ponašanju na virtualnim platformama, manje su izložena rizicima te će i sama bez straha, nađu li se u rizičnoj situaciji ili posumnjaju na nju, potražiti pomoć.Technological progress as such has opened up great opportunities, as well as making it accessible to a wealth of information. The problem arises in the fact that there is less and less educational content, while there is an increasing number of manipulative content. Electronic media today play an extremely important role in the lives of children and young people. It can be said that the media, and especially the Internet, for young people are a source of informative, entertaining content that conveys various messages about life, life values and current trends in a direct way affecting children. Today, the Internet is also one of the fundamental factors in the socialization of the young generation. More and more children spend time in front of various devices "surfing" the Internet. The problem of the research is the recognition of the risks that children face on the Internet as well as the potential possibilities of their protection. As already mentioned, the number of risks is not measurable. The risks are numerous, and the only way to avoid them is, above all, education, protection. Here, the emphasis is primarily on ensuring legal protection, but also on educating children both by parents and by various institutions from the school. If children learn to behave responsibly on virtual networks, then children are less exposed to risks and they themselves will seek help without fear if they find themselves in a risky situation or suspect it

The influence of the Ukraine war on disruptions in global value chains
No full textRad ispituje utjecaj rata u Ukrajini, koji je započeo 2022. godine, na poremećaje u globalnim lancima vrijednosti. Globalni lanci vrijednosti imaju ključnu ulogu u olakšavanju učinkovite prekogranične proizvodnje i distribucije robe. Međutim, sukobi i geopolitičke napetosti mogu poremetiti te lance, što dovodi do znatnih gospodarskih posljedica. Cilj je istražiti specifične učinke rata u Ukrajini na globalne lance vrijednosti i šire posljedice za međunarodnu trgovinu i gospodarsku stabilnost. U radu se analiziraju poremećaji uzrokovani ratom u Ukrajini u ključnim sektorima, uključujući proizvodnju, poljoprivredu i rudarstvo, koji su sastavni dijelovi globalnih lanaca vrijednosti. U radu se ispituju izazovi s kojima se suočavaju poduzeća zbog poremećaja u lancima opskrbe, logističkoj infrastrukturi i trgovinskim putovima, što dovodi do kašnjenja, povećanih troškova i logističkih složenosti. Istražuju se i posljedice tih poremećaja na multinacionalne korporacije koje posluju u Ukrajini, analizirajući izazove s kojima se suočavaju i strategije donesene kako bi se ublažio učinak na njihovo poslovanje i lance opskrbe. Nadalje se istražuju posljedice za trgovinske obrasce, pristup tržištu i izravna strana ulaganja, naglašavajući pad obujma izvoza i uvoza te promjenjiva trgovinska partnerstva i strategije diversifikacije koje su poduzeća usvojila kao odgovor na rat. Sveobuhvatnom analizom utjecaja rata na globalne lance vrijednosti, ovaj rad doprinosi razumijevanju složenog odnosa između sukoba i ekonomske međusobne povezanosti te naglašava potrebu za mjerama politike za ponovnu uspostavu stabilnosti u globalnim lancima vrijednosti, uključujući obnovu logističke infrastrukture, rješavanje političkih sukoba i poticanje međunarodne suradnje.The paper examines the impact of the war in Ukraine, which began in 2022, on disruptions in global value chains. Global value chains play a key role in facilitating the efficient cross-border production and distribution of goods. However, conflicts and geopolitical tensions can disrupt these chains, leading to significant economic consequences. The aim is to explore the specific effects of the war in Ukraine on global value chains and the broader implications for international trade and economic stability. The paper analyzes the disruptions caused by the war in Ukraine in key sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture and mining, which are integral parts of global value chains. The paper examines the challenges faced by companies due to disruptions in supply chains, logistics infrastructure and trade routes, leading to delays, increased costs and logistical complexities. The consequences of these disruptions on multinational corporations operating in Ukraine are also being investigated, analyzing the challenges they face and the strategies adopted to mitigate the impact on their business and supply chains. Furthermore, the implications for trade patterns, market access and foreign direct investment are explored, highlighting the decline in export and import volumes and the changing trade partnerships and diversification strategies adopted by enterprises in response to the war. By comprehensively analyzing the impact of war on global value chains, this paper contributes to understanding the complex relationship between conflict and economic interconnectedness and highlights the need for policy measures to restore stability in global value chains, including rebuilding logistics infrastructure, resolving political conflicts and fostering international cooperation
