Application of knowledge about perception and cognition in activities in the teaching of solfeggio
Solfeggio is the foundation of music education and an essential part of the education of professional musicians in Croatia. The aim of this thesis is to review existing research in the field of music perception and cognition and through developmental stages compared with activities through which pupils develop their musical skills within the Solfeggio courses in elementary music schools. The paper first presents chapters on the perception and cognition of music, as well as theories of information acquisition and processing, to establish the foundations of musical experience in terms of listening and singing. The curriculum through elementary music school follows the development of pupils' abilities and gradually increases the complexity of the content they learn over the years. Activities in Solfeggio classes are carried out with various teaching tools and materials, and each activity is designed to enhance specific musical skills, including memory, analysis, and reproduction of music. The psychology of music and the processes studied within this discipline provide foundation for teachers to adapt methods and approaches more clearly in order to facilitate students' acquisition and understanding of musical content

Sound and technical characteristics of the modern trombone
The purpose of the thesis was to investigate the technical and sound possibilities of the modern trombone. The basic things for successful mastery of the instrument are presented, such as breathing, technical details of the instrument, articulation and intonation. Mutes, the main modulators of sound on the trombone, and unusual techniques of playing the modern trombone are also described
Violinist’s health issues
Pravilnom tehnikom sviranja, redovitom tjelovježbom i aktivnim načinom života možemo izbjeći neželjene tegobe. U svom diplomskom radu pisat ću o najčešćim ozljedama, prevenciji i liječenju istih. Many violinists experience difficulties related to musculoskeletal health throughout their lives. If symptoms are neglected, more serious and incurable diseases can arise, which can limit the musician's ability to play and affect their daily life. By studying and analyzing the causes of injuries, we can increase awareness of how to prevent and treat diseases that may arise. Proper playing technique, regular exercise, and an active lifestyle can help avoid unwanted discomfort. In my thesis, I will write about the most common injuries, their prevention, and treatment
Perfectionism – pedagogical approach and influence on young flautists
Često usavršavaju svoje mogućnosti i teže kvaliteti sviranja izvan određenih granica 'normalnog'. The pursuit of perfection is one of the frequent orientations of thought in the profession of music. Due to the perfectionist state of mind, a person is rarely satisfied with their performance and their own abilities. Musicians constantly work on their own skills through schooling and the profession of music. They often refine their capabilities and strive for the quality of playing beyond certain limits of the ‘normal’'. The aim of this paper was to investigate the presence of perfectionism in flutists and whether the pedagogical approach encourages the development of perfectionism in young flutists. The survey was conducted online and 65 flutists completed a specific form. The first hypothesis states that most flutists show signs of perfectionism, and the second that teachers have an impact on the development of perfectionism in their students. The results of the respondents confirmed the first hypothesis, however the second hypothesis was not confirmed. Thus, the diversity of the respondents experiences and the relationship they had with flute teachers were shown. In conclusion, most flutists show signs of perfectionism and at the same time disagree with pedagogical techniques that encourage the very development of perfectionism in children
