    Economic and rural estate of the Ivanišević family

    Tema diplomskog rada su sačuvani ladanjsko gospodarski sklopovi plemićke obitelji Ivanišević. Uz analize i povijesna istraživanja građevina navodi se dolazak obitelji na područje makarskog primorja i njihov utjecaj. U ovom radu dan je uvid u barokna imanja obitelji Ivanišević na Makarskom primorju. Istraživanje ove teme zahtijevalo je uporabu teorijske metode istraživanja i metodu intervjua koje su značajno pridonijele povezivanju zdanja Makarske i Igrana. Sačuvane građevine su u radu opisane na temelju zatečenog stanja s koleracijom prikupljenog materijala koji djelomično daju uvid u njihov prvobitni izgled. Cilj ovog istraživačkog rada bio je obraditi do sad ne istraženu poveznicu relativno nepoznatog ljetnikovca s dobro poznatom baroknom palačom Ivanišević u Makarskoj.The topic of the diploma thesis is the preserved rural economic structures of the Ivanišević noble family. In addition to the analysis and historical research of the buildings, the arrival of the family to the area of the Makarska coast and their influence are mentioned. In this paper, an insight into the baroque estates of the Ivanišević family on the Makarska coast is given. Research on this topic required the use of the theoretical research method and the interview method, which significantly contributed to connecting the buildings of Makarska and Igrane. The preserved buildings are described in the paper based on the condition found with the collation of the collected material, which partially gives an insight into their original appearance. The aim of this research work was to process the unexplored link between the relatively unknown summer house and the well-known baroque palace Ivanišević in Makarska

    Conservation and Restoration of the Sarcophagus of Abbess Iohanna

    Konzervatorsko – restauratorski zahvati izvođeni su na kamenom sarkofagu opatice Ivane, koji je pronađen bez poklopca. Sarkofag je s lokaliteta Manastirine transportiran u radionicu Umjetničke akademije u Splitu gdje su se radovi izvodili. Zahvati obuhvaćaju uklanjanje sloja stare rekonstrukcije, izradu nove, konsolidaciju, razne metode čišćenja površine kamena, retušitanje i naposlijetku toniranje rekonstruiranih dijelova. Osim toga, ovaj rad se bavi zatečenim stanjem sarkofaga, povijesno-umjetničkim pregledom te istraživanjem prethodnih restauratorskih zahvata. Nakon završenog procesa konzervacije i restauracije, sarkofag je vraćen na pripadajuće mjesto - lokalitet Manastirine u Saloni.The limestone sarcophagus of Abbess Johanna was conserved and restored at the Arts Academy in Split. The sarcophagus, originally found without a lid, was transported from the Manastirine site to the workshop of the Arts Academy in Split, where the conservation-restoration works continued. The intervention included the removal of the layer of the previous reconstruction, construction of a new one, consolidation of the original materials, various methods of stone surface cleaning, retouching, and finally, toning the reconstructed parts. In addition, this paper deals with the current state of the sarcophagus before the conservation-restoration at the Arts Academy in Split, historical and artistic review, and the research of the previous conservation-restoration interventions. After the conservation-restoration intervention, the sarcophagus was returned to its original place, the Manastirine necropolis in Salona

    Cilj ovog rada je prikazati život uz more u antičko doba kroz saznanje da je tada Sredozemlje bilo središte poznatog svijeta. Opisan je ustroj plovidbe, strahopoštovanje prema moru, izgradnja brodova, tehnologija izrade jedara i razvoj trgovine. Helenističko doba doprinosu razvoju luka, svjetionika, ribarstva kao važnog segmenta svakodnevnog života. Rad opisuje društveni poredak u Grčkoj, odnos prema zemlji, obrazovanju, državnim poslovima. I na našim prostorima odigrao se bogati život u antičko doba o čemu saznajemo zahvaljujući ustrajnosti rada podvodne arheologije. Sustavna istraživanja otoka Hvara i Šćedra otkrivaju povijest antičkog vremena i približavaju antiku današnjem čovjeku.The aim of this paper is to show life by the sea in ancient times through the knowledge that the Mediterranean was the center of the known world at the time. It describes the structure of navigation, awe towards the sea, the construction of ships, the technology of making sails and the development of trade. The Hellenistic age contributes to the development of ports, lighthouses, fisheries as an important segment of everyday life. The paper describes the social order in Greece, the attitude towards the country, education, state affairs. A rich life took place on our territories in ancient times, which we learn about thanks to the perseverance of the work of underwater archaeology. Systematic research on the islands of Hvar and Šćedro reveals the history of ancient times and brings antiquity closer to today's man

    U radu ''Ispovijed'' autorica se bavi poimanjem greške nastale kroz subjektivni doživljaj određenih situacija koje se mogu smatrati greškama i/ili grijehom odnosno moralno upitnima. Inspirirana biblijskom pričom o Isusu i preljubnici, točnije činom kamenovanja, prikupila je količinu kamenova te na svaki, pojedinačno, ispisala po jednu činjenicu zbog koje se osjeća krivom. . Kako bi se odmakla od crkvenog (katoličkog) poimanja greške, autorica se referirala na vlastitu percepciju pogrešnoga koja se bazira na vanjskim utjecajima (društvo, mediji, institucije, odgoj i sl.). Prisjećajući se proteklih dvadeset mjeseci, autorica završnog rada zabilježila je rečenice kojima opisuje postupke koji joj izazivaju osjećaj krivnje, a to su sljedeći iskazi: Propustila sam poslovni uspjeh; širila sam povjerljive informacije; osuđivala sam druge zbog greški koje sam i sama činila; imala sam predrasude; opterećivala sam se tuđim mišljenjem; pušila sam previše trave; nisam vjerovala u svoje sposobnosti; ne raspolažem dobro novcem; nemam hrabrosti reći što mi smeta; previše maštam; nisam pred drugima onakva kakva sam sama sa sobom; ne vodim dovoljnu brigu o zdravlju; prekasno shvaćam; nisam sposobna za većinu poslova; rijetko znam što želim; lagala sam. Osim što rad potiče na razmišljanje o čimbenicima pogrešnoga i potrebi za kažnjavanjem ili ispravljanjem istoga, rad se manifestira i kao javna ispovijed, što dovodi u pitanje - barem metaforički - katoličku dogmu o ispovjednoj tajni. Pošto je biblijska priča poslužila samo kao nadahnuće, rad potiče promatrača da se odmakne od dogmi i u slučaju ispovjedne tajne, te samim tim preispita smisao skrivanja vlastitih greški.In the work "Confession", the author deals with the concept of mistakes created through the subjective experience of certain situations that can be considered mistakes and/or sins, or morally questionable. Inspired by the biblical story about Jesus and the adulteress, more precisely the act of stoning, she collected a quantity of stones and on each one, individually, wrote a fact that made her feel guilty. In order to move away from the (Catholic) Church's understanding of error, the author referred to her own perception of error, which is based on external influences (society, media, institutions, upbringing, etc.). Recalling the past twenty months, the author recorded the sentences describing behaviours that cause her a sense of guilt, for instance: I missed out on business success; I disseminated confidential information; I judged others for the mistakes I made myself; I was prejudiced; I burdened myself with other people's opinions; I smoked too much marijuana; I didn't believe in my abilities; I don't manage money well; I don't have the courage to say what bothers me; I fantasize too much; I am not the same in front of others as I am with myself; I do not take sufficient care of my health; I realize things too late; I am not fit for most jobs; I rarely know what I want; I lied. In addition to the work encouraging thinking about wrongdoing and the need to punish or correct the very same, the work also manifests itself as a public confession, which calls into question - at least metaphorically - the Catholic dogma about the Seal of Confession (confessional secrecy). As the biblical story served only as an inspiration for the work , it encourages the observer to move away from dogmas even in the case of the confessional secret, and to reconsider the meaning of hiding one's own mistakes

    Ovaj se rad preko istraživanja početaka glazbe i njenog značenja, filma, zvuka na filmu, i naposljetku dokumentarnog filma bavi definiranjem bitnosti glazbe u dokumentarcima i njihovom odnosu po pitanju autentičnosti te vrste filma, na kraju popraćeno primjerima dokumentaraca različitih budžeta koji na različite načine koriste glazbu u prenošenju svoje dokumentirane realnosti.Through the research of the beginnings of music and its meaning, film, sound on film, and finally documentary film, this work deals with defining the essentiality of music in documentaries and their relationship regarding the authenticity of that type of film, accompanied by examples of documentaries of different budgets that use music in different ways to convey their documented reality at the end

    Schumannov jedini klavirski koncert jedan je od poznatijih i omiljenijih koncerata u klavirskoj literaturi. U vrijeme svog nastanka donio je svježinu u načinu tretiranja klavira i orkestra. Originalnošću u pristupu formi i glazbenom izričaju, ovaj koncert je utjecao na razvoj klavirskog koncerta. U ovom radu predstavit ću biografiju Roberta Schumanna te povijesni kontekst i proces nastanka klavirskog koncerta op. 54. Potom ću analizirati koncert s formalno-harmonijskog aspekta; definirati, kategorizirati tehničke zahtjeve i navesti načine njihovog vježbanja, te ponuditi interpretativnu analizu koji bi mogla pomoći u razumijevanju i načinu izvođenja ovog koncerta.Schumann's only piano concerto is one of the most famous and favorite concertos in piano literature. At the time of its creation, it brought freshness in the way of treating the piano and the orchestra. With its original approach to form and musical expression, this concert influenced the development of the piano concerto. In this thesis I will present the biography of Robert Schumann and the historical context and the creation of his Piano concerto op. 54. Then I will analyze the concert from a harmonic aspect, define and categorize the technical requirements and indicate ways of practicing them; and offer an interpretive analysis that could help in understanding the way of performing this concerto

    Béla Bartók jedan je od najznačajnijih skladatelja 20. stoljeća. Njegov glazbeni jezik inspirirao je kasnije generacije skladatelja, koji su na njegovim temeljima ustanovili vlastiti skladateljski izričaj. U ovom su radu na temelju njegovog Divertimenta za gudače analizirani orkestralni postupci te način na koji je tretirao gudački korpus. Neki od tih tipičnih postupaka potom su praktično primijenjeni u orkestraciji njegove glasovirske Suite op.14.Béla Bartók is one of the most significant composers of the 20th century, whose musical language inspired generations of composers that came after him. Based on his Divertimento for strings I will establish and analyse Bartók's typical orchestration procedures, and then apply same of those procedures in my orchestration of his Suite op.14

    U radu je na temelju dostupne literature predstavljen povijesni razvoj animacije u SAD-u i Sovjetskom Savezu, te razlike između dvije velike industrije animacije koje su u ovim državama nastale i to što ih je uvjetovalo. Rad prati evoluciju animacije od njenih najranijih dana, prije nego li je film kao medij uopće postojao pa sve do pojave prvih velikih imena u animaciji koji su svojim inovativnim pristupom i kreativnom uporabom animacijskih tehnika popularizirali ovaj mediji i probili led za cijelu umjetničku formu. Poseban fokus pridan je Walt Disneyu, čovjeku koji je svojom radnom filozofijom i umjetničkom vizijom oblikovao svijet moderne američke animacije, ali i standard za ono što se od animacije očekuje na svjetskoj razini, te je stvorio likove koji su toliko prepoznatljivi da svaka živuća generacija može reći da je uz njih odrasla. Što objektivnije sam se pokušala kritički osvrnuti na različite konvencije i socio-političke prilike SAD-a i Sovjetskog Saveza te ono što je sovjetsku animaciju činilo svojevrsnom antitezom američkoj, obje toliko različite po političkoj svrsi i estetskom senzibilitetu, no također se spominju i njihove ponekad iznenađujuće dodirne točke. Obrađene su teme razvoja televizije i naglih društvenih promjena u 20. stoljeću, te kako je to oblikovalo stilove brojnih animatora i tematike kojima su se u svojim animiranim filmovima bavili. Naravno, ovako bogatu povijest nije moguće odviše detaljno obraditi u formatu završnog rada, pa sam fokus zadržala na najbitnijim ličnostima svijeta animacije i njihovim stilskim doprinosima jednoj ovako opsežnoj i kompleksnoj grani umjetnosti.In this thesis, with the help of available literature, the historical development of animation in the US and the SSSR is presented, along with the differences between animation industries that came to be in these two countries and everything that laid ground for them. The work traces the evolution of animation from its earliest days, before film as a medium even existed until the appearance of the first big names in animation who, with their innovative approach and creative use of animation techniques, popularized this medium and broke the ice for the entire art form. A special focus is given to Walt Disney, the man who, with his work philosophy and artistic vision, shaped the world of modern American animation, as well as the standard for what is expected of animation at the level of the whole globe, and created characters that are so recognizable that every living generation can say that they grew up with them. As objectively as possible, I tried to look critically at the various conventions and socio-political circumstances of the USA and the Soviet Union, and what made Soviet animation a kind of antithesis to American animation, both so different in terms of political purpose and aesthetic sensibility, but also mention their sometimes surprising common points. The topics of the development of television and sudden social changes in the 20th century were covered, and how this shaped the styles of numerous animators and the topics they dealt with in their animated films. Of course, it is not possible to cover such a rich history in too much detail in the format of the final paper, so I kept the focus on the most important creators in the world of animation and their stylistic contributions to such an extensive and complex branch of art
