Temperature By Municipality in Spain
No full textThis dataset contains information about the daily average temperature by municipality in Spain. It contains temperature data from 01/01/2015 to 31/12/2022. This data comes from the weather stations of the Spanish State Meteorology Agency (AEMET) and from the weather stations provided independently by each autonomous community. It uses information from 1,193 weather stations in 2015, 1,244 stations in 2016, 1,305 stations in 2017, 1,382 stations in 2018, 1,493 stations in 2019, 1,544 stations in 2020, 1,594 stations in 2021 and 1,581 stations in 2022. This measurement by municipality is produced in three steps. First, I identify the population center of each municipality using the 2018 GEOSTAT 1km2 population grid dataset. Second, I calculate the distance between the population center of each municipality and each weather monitor. Third, I construct the weighted daily mean temperature variable for each municipality by considering all weather stations within 20 km of the center of the municipality

No full textThe main objective of EduCommon is to set up a dialogue between the discourse of "the commons" (Federici, 2020; Barbagallo, Beiret, & Harvie, 2019)
and the tradition of Popular Education in Latin America (Freire, 1980; Puiggrós, 2016) on the basis of a qualitative empirical study on the
experience of Bachilleratos Populares in Argentina. This proposal emerges from the observation of the commonalities between the proposals of
“the commons” and this experience: (i) they focus on social spaces that are neither public -understanding “the public” as the state-
nor private -understanding “the private” as the market-, but on citizen participation; (ii) they are inspired by models of grassroots democracy
that go beyond the liberal-capitalist model of democracy; (iii) they focus on equality; (iv) they explore points of intersection between
“the public-state” and “the common”, understood as the grassroots democratic practices that occur at the community-local level.
The dataset is composed of: 41 interviews with educators of bachilleratos populares in the city of Buenos Aires (36 interviews), state managers of the Ministry of Education
of the City of Buenos Aires (4 interviews), and one interview with a founding member of the first bachillerato popular in the province of Buenos Aires. </p

This dataset contains data of 193 software engineering students: 45 in the control group and 148 in the experimental group. Both groups took a lesson about software design, but the students in the control group learned through online video-based learning, whereas their counterparts in the experimental group learned through online game-based learning.
The dataset is provided through an XLSX file with two sheets: 1) GBLGroup. This sheet contains the data related to the experimental group. 2) VBLGroup. This sheet contains the data related to the control group.
The dataset contains the following data for each student: * Pre-test and post-test scores. * Learning gains, calculated as the difference between the post-test and the pre-test score. * Age and gender. * Results of a perceptions questionnaire with 9 items. * Comments (in Spanish). All data is anonymized so that the identity of the participants cannot be ascertained.
