Pre and Post Stroop Task scores to investigate the effects of a short relaxation in inhibitory control
Description of the project
In this project, we investigated whether a short relaxation session (7 min.) can affect inhibitory control in students (aged 16 to 18) with no prior experience in relaxation techniques. The classic Stroop task was used with three conditions with a sheet for each of them (Word, Color, Word-Color). With the scores of the three conditions, Resistance to interference was found in a Pre Post design.
There were 60 individual sessions (approximately 20 minutes each: pre Stroop task -> 1 min. transition -> relaxation/listening session -> 1 min. transition -> post Stroop task) carried out and controlled by the same researcher. The same material was used for all participants (Stroop test -TEA EDICIONES-, computer, headphones, stopwatch) in the same place (classroom of a private academy), throughout various afternoons of the week of school days (between December 1, 2021 and February 1, 2022). The Stroop task was applied in a systematic way for use following the instructions of the Stroop Manual, color and word test (Golden, 2020). Each session provided the direct scores of the Stroop Pre task and the Stroop Post task (also of the two scales with both questions about Task Monitoring and Perceived Relaxation). The direct scores were entered daily into the database (SPSS) and into the TEACORRIGE online program, from where the T scores (standardized) were extracted, which were entered into the database and subsequently exported to EXCEL.Descripción del dataset

SoftNeckCameraStabilization: Data and results of the identification and control of a soft neck
In order to obtain the model parameters, an identification experiment was performed to capture the plant input-output behavior. For this purpose, a step input was introduced in the plant, and the corresponding output was registered. Given that the system input is a velocity, but the neck inclination has a limited working range, a sign alternating input is needed to avoid the maximum inclination that would cause output saturation. For the same reason, the expected transfer function order is two, including a real pole and an integrator. After testing different modeling options, the most accurate result was obtained with the standard two-pole and gain control engineering model.
Four csv files are available that include the described information about the end effector orientation of the soft robot while varying the length of the tendons. The sets of data include:
* I/O identification data for pitch motion.
* I/O identification data for pitch motion at 50 Hz.
* I/O identification data for roll motion.
* I/O identification data for roll motion at 50 Hz.
In addition, the experiment results are also provided as datasets:
* Step input experiment for different mass loads (FOPI) (pitch and roll).
* Step input experiment for different mass loads (PID) (pitch and roll).
* Camera stabilization experiment for 1 kg mass loads (FOPI).
* Camera stabilization experiment for 1 kg mass loads (PID).
* Disturbance experiment for 1 kg mass loads (FOPI).
