ESTIMATION OF EURASIAN IYNX (LYNX IYNX) NUMER IN GORSKI KOTAR REGION
No full textEuroazijski ris (Lynx lynx L.) najveći je predstavnik felida u Europi, a najmanji predstavnik velikih zvijeri u Republici Hrvatskoj, koji je krajem 19. i početkom 20.stoljeća, nestao iz svojeg prirodnog habitata zbog ljudskih aktivnosti, a u Europi su tada opstale jedino izolirane populacije na zapadu Rusije, u Skandinaviji, Karpatima i na Balkanskom poluotoku. Od 2017.godine u provedbi je EU projekt LIFE Lynx u okviru kojeg se provodi monitoring populacije risa pomoću fotozamki. Na području Gorskog kotara fotozamke su bile postavljene na 40 lokacija i zabilježeno je ukupno 389 znakova prisutnosti risa, a radilo se o 358 fotografija, 6 pronađenih plijenova risa, 15 uzoraka dlake za genetska istraţivanja, 2 izmeta od risa, 4 zabilješke viđenja risa bez snimljene fotografije, 2 otiska, 1 uhvaćeni ris i 1 mrtav ris. Od svih snimljenih fotografija, njih je 326 bilo pogodno za fotoidentifikaciju snimljenih risova te je ukupno identificirano 10 ženki, 16 mužjaka, 8 mladunaca i 7 risova kojima spol nije utvrđen. Većina fotozamki bila je postavljena na markiralištima što je rezultiralo prikupljanjem većeg broja kvalitetnijih fotografija.Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx L.) is the largest representative of felids in Europe and the smallest representative of large carnivores in the Republic of Croatia, which disappeared from its natural habitat by human activity in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and only isolated populations in the west of Russia, Scandinavia, the Carpathians and the Balkan Peninsula survived in Europe at that time. Since 2017, camera trapping population monitoring has been performed within LIFE Lynx project. In the area of Gorski kotar overall 40 locations were used for camera trapping and there were 389 signs of lynx presence documented. There were 358 photographs, lynx kill (6), 15 hair samples for genetic research, 2 scats, 4 sightings, 2 footprints, 1 caught, and 1 dead lynx. Out of all documented photographs, there were 326 left. 10 females, 16 males, 8 kittens and 7 lynxes of unknown gender were identified. Most of the camera traps were placed at the marking sites, which resulted in collection of a large number of better quality photographs
THE IMPACT OF THE CRISIS CAUSED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON THE CROATIAN ECONOMY
No full textOvim se završnim radom analizira utjecaj krize uzrokovane pandemijom Covid-19 na hrvatsko gospodarstvo. Unatoč značajnom medicinskom napretku tijekom posljednjih stoljeća, zarazne bolesti uvijek su predstavljale značajnu prijetnju društvu. Dok su neke endemične za određene geografske regije, druge se mogu širiti, postajući epidemije ili pandemije, kao što je slučaj s krizom koronavirusa koji se proteklih nekoliko godina razvija. Pandemija je prvi put detektirana u kineskom gradu Wuhanu krajem 2019. i početkom 2020. godine te je u iznimno kratkom vremenskom razmaku pogodila gotovo čitav svijet utječući pritom na mnoge aspekte života. Hrvatska pripada skupini zemalja čija je ekonomska aktivnost u znatnoj mjeri smanjenja glede strukture gospodarstva te iznimno visokog udjela uslužnih djelatnosti čije je odvijanje ograničeno. Poslije višegodišnjeg pozitivnog trenda tijekom kojih su se makroekonomske neravnoteže progresivno smanjivale, pandemija je izazvala rizik novih neravnoteža. Osim iznimno negativnog utjecaja na zdravlje u znatnoj se mjeri odrazila i na ograničenja kretanja ljudi, trgovinu, vanjsku trgovinu, putovanja, uzrokujući pritom slabljenje gospodarskih aktivnosti. U pogledu gospodarstva, Hrvatska je doživjela radikalan pad BDP-a što dokazuje činjenica da je u drugom tromjesječju 2020. BDP pao za rekordnih 15.1 %. Upravo taj postotak istaknut je kao najveći otkad se provodi tromjesečna procjena BDP-a.This final paper analyses the impact of the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic on the Croatian economy. Despite significant medical advances over the last centuries, infectious diseases have always posed a significant threat to society. While some are endemic to certain geographical regions, others can spread, becoming epidemics or pandemics, as is the case with the coronavirus crisis that has been developing over the past few years. The pandemic was first detected in the Chinese city of Wuhan in late 2019 and early 2020, and in an extremely short period of time it affected almost the entire world, affecting many aspects of life. Croatia belongs to the group of countries whose economic activity is significantly reduced in terms of the structure of the economy and the extremely high share of service activities whose activities are limited. After a multi-year positive trend during which macroeconomic imbalances have been progressively declining, the pandemic has risked new imbalances. In addition to the extremely negative impact on health, it also had a significant impact on restrictions on the movement of people, trade, foreign trade, and travel, causing a weakening of economic activities. In terms of the economy, Croatia has experienced a radical decline in GDP, as evidenced by the fact that in the second quarter of 2020, GDP fell by a record 15.1%. It is this percentage that has been highlighted as the highest since the quarterly GDP estimate

No full textFinancijske institucije imaju ključnu ulogu u povećanju ekonomske efikasnosti i prevladavanju nedostataka u izravnom financiranju putem financijskih tržišta te se u najširem smislu može reći da su financijske institucije poduzeća čija se imovina u najvećem dijelu nalazi u nematerijalnom obliku tj. u obliku novca, vrijednosnih papira i drugih oblika financijske imovine. Međunarodne bankarske institucije razvile su se nakon velike svjetske krize 1929. godine pojavom potrebe za uklanjanjem posljedica krize i utjecajem na smanjivanju razlika u razvijenosti pojedinih zemalja koje sudjeluju u međunarodnoj razmjeni. Republika Hrvatska punopravna je članica nekoliko međunarodnih financijskih institucija s kojima razvija i provodi suradnju. Kao članici međunarodnih financijskih institucija, Republici Hrvatskoj važno je težiti ostvarivanju dodanih vrijednosti i koristi od vlasničkih udjela te analizirati, na kvalitetan način, vrijednost dobivenu za uloženi novac. Grupacija Svjetske banke je za Republiku Hrvatsku važna međunarodna financijska institucija koja, kontinuirano i svestrano, podupire ekonomsko-socijalni razvitak i daljnji razvoj tržišne ekonomije te je značajan izvor financiranja i katalizator reformskih prilagodbi. Suradnja s Grupacijom Svjetske banke ima veliko, ne samo financijsko, nego i šire značenje za održavanje makroekonomske stabilnosti i postizanje održivog gospodarskog rasta. Financijska potpora i ukupna uloga Grupacije Svjetske banke prilagođava se potrebama izgradnje infrastrukture, strukturnih prilagodbi i sveukupnog razvitka Republike Hrvatske. Republika Hrvatska koristi značajna financijska sredstva u vidu investicijskih i strukturnih zajmova po najpovoljnijim financijskim uvjetima koje Grupacija Svjetske banke postiže na međunarodnom financijskom tržištu.Financial institutions have a key role in increasing economic efficiency and overcoming shortcomings in direct financing through financial markets and in the broadest sense it can be said that financial institutions are companies whose assets are mostly in intangible form, i.e. in the form of money, securities and other forms of financial assets. International banking institutions developed after the great world crisis in 1929, with the emergence of the need to eliminate the consequences of the crisis and to influence the reduction of differences in the development of individual countries that participate in international exchange. The Republic of Croatia is a full member of several international financial institutions, with which it develops and carries out cooperation. As a member of international financial institutions, it is important for the Republic of Croatia to strive to achieve added value and benefits from ownership shares and to analyze, in a qualitative manner, the value obtained for the invested money. The World Bank Group is an important international financial institution for the Republic of Croatia, which continuously and comprehensively supports economic and social development and the further development of the market economy and is a significant source of financing and a catalyst for reform adjustments. Cooperation with the World Bank Group has a great, not only financial, but wider meaning for maintaining macroeconomic stability and achieving sustainable economic growth. The financial support and overall role of the World Bank Group is adjusted to the needs of infrastructure construction, structural adjustments and overall development of the Republic of Croatia. The Republic of Croatia uses significant financial resources in the form of investment and structural loans under the most favorable financial conditions that the World Bank Group achieves on the international financial market

U prvom poglavlju opisana je primjena drva kroz ljudsku povijest. U drugom poglavlju objašnjena su osnovna fizikalna, kemijska i mehanička svojstva drva. Eksperimentalni dio opisuje metode ispitivanja svojstava drva koja se mogu provesti u laboratoriju u Veleučilištu u Karlovcu, uz pojašnjenje samih metoda ispitivanja i rezultate nekih od metoda ispitivanja.The goal of this final paper was to describe wood as a material and his properties. This final paper consists of two parts, experimental and theoretical parts. The first chapter describes how wood was used throughout human history. In the second chapter woods properties are explained. Most of physical, chemical and mechanical properties of wood are explained. The experimental part of this final paper tells about all possible tests that can be done in laboratory to determine mechanical properties of wood. This part will explain how to do these tests and will give some results of those tests

Sa pojavom modernijih doba dolazimo do pravog procvata turizma izgradnjom i otvaranjem hotela, apartmana i odmarališta sa odgovarajućom infrastrukturom. Hrvatska postaje prava turistička zemlja sa svojom raznolikom ponudom. Turizam koji susrećemo danas je postao fenomen, te su putovanja dostupna svim slojevima društva. Pojavom masovnog turizma, turisti se osjećaju otuđeno, te je nužan slijed razvoja specifičnih oblika turizma, kako bi ciljane skupine turista mogle zadovoljiti svoje potrebe. Kamping turizam jedan je od specifičnih oblika turizma kojega označuje povratak prirodi, opuštena atmosfera, multikulturalnost, maksimalne prirodne atrakcije te je cjenovno prihvatljiv oblik boravka . Od svoje pojave kamping turizam je nudio samo boravak u prirodi sa svojim smještajem, koji je najčeće bio šator, no danas ipak kampovi uz svoju standardnu ponudu imaju u ponudi i otmjen i glamurozan odmor u bungalovima, mobilnim kućicama i glamping šatorima uz dodatnu jaku ponudu koja još više krasi ovaj, na prvi pogled jednostavni oblik turizma. Kampova je danas puno, te nude šarenu ponudu sa svojim dopunskim sadržajima, animacijama, sportskim natjecanjima, radionicama, gastronomijom te wellness ponudom. With the advent of more modern times, we come to a true flourishing of tourism with the construction and opening of hotels, apartments and resorts with appropriate infrastructure. Croatia is becoming a real tourist country with its diverse offer. Tourism that we encounter today has become a phenomenon, and trips are available to all levels of society. With the advent of mass tourism, tourists feel alienated, and a sequence of development of specific forms of tourism is necessary, so that the target groups of tourists can satisfy their needs. Camping tourism is one of the specific forms of tourism characterized by a return to nature, relaxed atmosphere, multiculturalism, maximum natural attractions and is an affordable form of vacation. Since its inception, camping tourism has offered only a stay in nature with its accommodation, which was most often a tent, but today, in addition to its standard offer, camps also offer a classy and glamorous vacation in bungalows, mobile homes and glamping tents with an additional strong offer that this, at first glance, simple form of tourism is even more beautiful. There are a lot of camps today, and they offer a colorful offer with their supplementary content, animations, sports competitions, workshops, gastronomy and wellness offer. CREATION OF EVACUATION PLANS USING AUTOCAD SOFTWARE
No full textEvakuacija je organizirano izlaženje ljudi iz objekata, prostora i drugih ugroženih područja bilo da se radi o požaru ili drugoj elementarnoj nepogodi, pljačkama te terorističkom činu, u situaciji kojom su ugroženi ljudski životi. Za evakuaciju i spašavanje izrađuju se Planovi evakuacije i spašavanja u kojima se određuju smjerovi kretanja, imenuju voditelji, osobe za gašenje požara i spašavanja iz ruševina, osobe zadužene za pružanje prve pomoći, mjesta s aparatima za početno gašenje požara te se određuje zborno mjesto, odnosno mjesto okupljanja. U današnje vrijeme, izrada, ali i crtanje Planova evakuacije i spašavanja vrlo je jednostavna budući da postoji više programskih alata, a jedan od najzastupljenijih je AutoCAD.Evacuation is the organized exit of people from buildings, spaces and other endangered areas, whether there is a fire or other natural disaster, robbery or terorrist act in situation where human lives are endangered. No full textTema ovog završnog rada su perspektive razvoja turizma grada Čazme. Kroz rad se opisuje grad Čazma kao turistička destinacija te raspoloživi resursi koji doprinose razvoju turizma na području grada, od kojih su najznačajniji obronci Moslavačke gora i dolina rijeke Česme. Grad Čazma svoj turistički promet temelji na dolascima turista tijekom cijele godine zahvaljujući brojnim manifestacijama koje se održavaju kontinuirano kroz cijelu godinu, a najznačajnija je Božićna priča obitelj Salaj koju u zimskim mjesecima posjeti velik broj stranih turista. Kroz rad su obrađene analize smještajnih kapaciteta, turističkog prometa, analiza emitivnih turističkih tržišta te analiza dionika i okruženja grada Čazme. Perspektiva razvoja turizma na području grada Čazme temelji se na Zelenom turizmu koji se razvija zahvaljujući projektu „Čazma Natura“ u sklopu kojeg je izgrađen prvi Bio bazen u Hrvatskoj.The topic of this final paper is the perspectives of tourism development in the town of Čazma. The paper describes the city of Čazma as a tourist destination and the available resources that contribute to the development of tourism in the area of the city, the most important of which are the slopes of the Moslavina mountains and the valley of the Česma river. The city of Čazma bases its tourist traffic on the arrival of tourists throughout the year thanks to numerous events that are held continuously throughout the year, and the most significant is the Christmas story of the Salaj family, which is visited by a large number of foreign tourists in the winter months. Analyzes of accommodation capacity, tourist traffic, analysis of emitting tourist markets, and analysis of stakeholders and the environment of the city of Čazma were processed through the work. The perspective of tourism development in the area of the town of Čazma is based on Green tourism, which is developing thanks to the "Čazma Natura" project, as part of which the first Bio pool in Croatia was built
FIREFIGHTING INTERVENTION FOR RESCUING PEOPLE UNDERWATER
No full textKroz povijest pa sve do danas vatrogastvo se konstanto razvija i nadograđuje. Vatrogastvo više nije samo gašenje požara kao što je nekad bilo, u sadašnjosti gašenje požara je jedan manji segment djelovanja vatrogasnih postrojbi. Najveći obim poslova vatrogastva su tehničke prirode, među kojima velik dio zauzimaju intervencije tehničkog spašavanja. Kako se ukazuje potreba za specijalizacijom određenih vrsta spašavanja kao što je naprimjer spašavanje iz dubina i sa visina, te formiranje spasilačkog tima specijaliziranog za takvu vrstu intervencija, tako je sve više očita potreba za formiranje vatrogasnih specijaliziranih timova za različite vrste posebnih namjena , kao što je tim za spašavanje iz ruševina. Često u jedinicama lokalne uprave i samouprave nisu baš nakloni financirati i nabavljati opremu za neke posebne namjene i događaje kojima je mala vjerojatnost da se dogode. Međutim kada se dogode, što možemo vidjeti na primjeru potresa u Petrinji, tada takve obuke, znanja i oprema spašavaju živote. Rad je izrađen u obliku kronološkog slijeda događaja od trenutka potresa do povlačenja snaga iz Petrinje i zatvaranje Vatrogasnog operativnog zapovjedništva. Kroz cijeli rad ću prikazivati radnje, izazove i poteškoće na koje su nailazili operativni vatrogasci tijekom svog djelovanja na potresom pogođenom području kao i analize i naučene lekcije kroz vlastito iskustvo.Throughout history until today, firefighting is constantly evolving and upgrading. Firefighting is no longer just firefighting as it once was, nowadays firefighting is one smaller segment of firefighting operations. The largest scope of firefighting work is of a technical nature, among which a large part is occupied by technical rescue interventions. As there is a need to specialize in certain types of rescue, such as rescue from depths and heights, and the formation of a rescue teamspecializing in this type of intervention, so is the need to form specialized firefighting teams for various types of special purposes, such as rescue team from the rubble. Often, local government units are reluctant to finance and procure equipment for some special purposes and events that are unlikely to occur. However, when they happen, as we can see in the example of the earthquake in Petrinja, then such training, knowledge and equipment save lives. The work was prepared in the form of a chronological sequence of events from the moment of the earthquake to the withdrawal of forces from Petrinja and the closure of the Fire Operational Command. Throughout this paper, I will present the actions, challenges and difficulties encountered by operational firefighters during their work in the earthquake-affected area as well as analyzes and lessons learned through ,my own experience
PREPARATION OF THE SLJEME CABLE FOR GENERAL OVERHALL
No full textTema ovog diplomskog rada je pripremanje trosjedne žičare na Sljemenu za generalni remont prije početka sezone skijanja. U uvodnom dijelu ovog rada opisat ću specifikacije žičara na Sljemenu, ali i samog skijališta. Nadalje, navest ću regularne potrebe održavanja žičare i detaljno ih opisati uz slikovne prikaze. Objasnit ću strategiju, koncept i organizaciju održavanja i potkrijepiti ih navodima iz zakonske regulative. Također, objasnit ću regulaciju i gospodarenje rezervnim dijelovima. U glavnom, odnosno eksperimentalnom dijelu rada, detaljno ću opisati proces demontaže trosjedne žičare u cilju obavljanja potrebnih radova održavanja. Također ću ovaj dio potkrijepiti slikovnim prikazima, skicama i shemama. Na kraju slijedi zaključak u kojem ću objasniti važnost radova održavanja, što u financijskom smislu to i u smislu sigurnosti korisnika žičare „Trosjed“ na zagrebačkom Sljemenu.he topic of this masters thesis is the preparation of the three-seater cable car on Sljeme for a general overhaul before the start of the skiing season. In the introductory part, I will describe the specifications of the cable cars and lifts on Sljeme, but also the ski resort itself. Furthermore, I will list the regular maintenance needs of the cable car and I will describe them in detail with pictorial representations. I'll explain the strategy, concept and organisation of maintenance work, and substantiate them with allegations from the legislation. Also, I will explain the regulation and management of spare parts. In the main, experimental part of the thesis, I'll describe in detail the dissasembly process of the three-seater cable car in order to perform the necessary maintenance work. I will also substantiate this section with pictorial representations, sketches and diagrams. At the end follows a conclusion, in which I will explain the importance of maintenance work both in financial terms and in terms of safety of the cable car user on Zagreb's Sljeme
