No full textKlimatske promjene jedan su od najvažnijih izazova s kojima se danas suočava naš planet, s dalekosežnim implikacijama i na okoliš i na biološku raznolikost. Utjecaj klimatskih promjena na floru i faunu je izrazit, narušava ekosustave i predstavlja značajnu prijetnju opstanku bezbrojnih vrsta. U ovom diplomskom radu istraženi su učinci klimatskih promjena na biljni i životinjski svijet, rizici od gubitka i smanjenja biološke raznolikosti, kao i napori za očuvanje i strategije prilagodbe koje su ključne za ublažavanje tih utjecaja. Osim toga, istaknuta je uloga ekosustava u borbi protiv klimatskih promjena i prikazani budući izgledi i izazovi za zaštitu i očuvanje prirodnog svijeta.Climate change is one of the most important challenges facing our planet today, with far-reaching implications for both the environment and biodiversity. The impact of climate change on flora and fauna is pronounced; it disrupts ecosystems and represents a significant threat to the survival of countless species. This thesis explores the effects of climate change on flora and fauna, the risks of biodiversity loss and decline, as well as conservation efforts and adaptation strategies that are key to mitigating these impacts. In addition, the role of ecosystems in the fight against climate change is highlighted and prospects and challenges for the protection and preservation of the natural world are presented
INJURIES ASSOCIATED WITH ELECTRIFIED RAILWAY SYSTEMS
No full textOvaj rad obrađuje problematiku nesreća povezanih s elektrificiranim željezničkim sustavom kao i sigurnosne mjere, te opisuje predložene ideje poboljšanja istih. Za te potrebe odrađeno je istraživanje na temelju analize dostupnih podataka o nesrećama na elektrificiranim željezničkim sustavima u vremenskom periodu od 2015. do 2020. godine daje uvid u stanje sigurnosti hrvatskih željeznica, vrste nesreća, broj teško ozlijeđenih, smrtno stradalih osoba, te su na kraju istaknute pojedinosti predloženih sustava sigurnosti i zaštite. U radu su uspoređeni različiti dostupni statistički podaci nesreća na elektrificiranim željezničkim sustavima Republike Hrvatske. Autor zaključuje da uloga sustava sigurnosti i zaštite predstavlja bitnu ulogu u svakodnevnoj funkciji željezničkog prometa i sigurnosti putnika, radnika te same okoline. Rad je izrađen sukladno Pravilniku, a vodio i komentirao ga je mentor.This paper deals with the issue of accidents related to the electrified railway system as well as safety measures, and describes proposed ideas for improving them. For these purposes, research was carried out based on the analysis of available data on accidents on electrified railway systems in the period from 2015 to 2020. It provides an insight into the state of safety of Croatian railways, the types of accidents, the number of seriously injured and fatal persons, and finally highlighted details of proposed safety and security systems. The paper compares various available statistical data on accidents on the electrified railway systems of the Republic of Croatia. The author concludes that the role of the safety and protection system represents an essential role in the daily function of railway traffic and the safety of passengers, workers and the environment itself. No full textSAŽETAK Poduzetništvo je splet poslovnih aktivnosti u sklopu kojih poduzetnik ima ideju koju drži dobrom poslovnom prigodom, ulaže u ideju vlastiti ili pozajmljeni novac (investira), nabavlja stalna i obrtna sredstva, zapošljava ljude, vodi i organizira biznis te obavlja još mnoštvo poslova s temeljnim ciljem ostvarivanja svoje poduzetničke misije, odnosno to je svaka proizvodna, trgovačka, uslužna ili mješovita aktivnost poduzetnika, pojedinca ili skupine ljudi, koja je usmjerena na zadovoljavanje nekih potreba te stvaranje dobiti ili profita i slično. Na području Karlovačke županije posluje oko 2.600 trgovačkih društava, a gospodarsku sliku dopunjuje i oko 1.800 obrta. Mladi na tržištu rada u Karlovačkoj županiji, kao i u ostatku Hrvatske, suočavaju se s nizom izazova, ali i s nekim prilikama koje su specifične za tu regiju. Kao i u većem dijelu Hrvatske, mladi u Karlovačkoj županiji često se suočavaju s visokom stopom nezaposlenosti, te odlaze iz manjih sredina poput Karlovačke županije prema većim sredinama, kao što su Zagreb ili inozemstvo, u potrazi za boljim prilikama za obrazovanje i zapošljavanje. Karlovačka županija ima potencijal postati žarište poduzetništva u regiji, no to zahtijeva kontinuirane napore u poboljšanju poslovne klime, smanjenju birokratskih barijera i osiguravanju pristupačnih izvora financiranja. Samim time povećao bi se interes za poduzetništvo među mladima i drugim grupama ljudiEntrepreneurship is a set of business activities in which an entrepreneur has an idea that he considers a good business opportunity, invests his own or borrowed money (invests) in the idea, acquires fixed and working capital, employs people, manages and organizes the business, and performs many other tasks with the basic goal of realizing its entrepreneurial mission, i.e. it is any production, trade, service or mixed activity of an entrepreneur, individual or group of people, which is aimed at meeting some needs and creating profit or profit and the like. About 2,600 commercial companies operate in Karlovac County, and the economic picture is supplemented by about 1,800 trades. Young people on the labor market in Karlovac County, as well as in the rest of Croatia, face a number of challenges, but also some opportunities that are specific to that region. As in most of Croatia, young people in Karlovac County often face a high unemployment rate, and they leave smaller areas like Karlovac County for larger areas, such as Zagreb or abroad, in search of better opportunities for education and employment. No full textDiplomski rad opisuje ustrojstvo vatrogasnih postrojbi u Republici Hrvatskoj, njihove djelatnosti, ovlast i zapovijedanje. Prikazuje rad Hrvatske vatrogasne zajednice i glavnog zapovjednika koji su temelj hrvatskog vatrogastva. U radu su spomenute sve vatrogasne postrojbe koje djeluju u hrvatskom vatrogastvu dok je poseban osvrt na profesionalne vatrogasne postrojbe. Detaljno je prikazana ne tako davno formirana Janaf-ova vatrogasna postrojba terminala Žitnjak, njezin ustroj, područje djelovanja, vozila i oprema koju posjeduju. Kruna rada je prikaz postupanja vatrogasne postrojbe u gospodarstvu u jednoj vrlo zahtjevnoj intervenciji pretakanja zapaljive tekućine iz vagon cisterne, u kojoj su sudjelovale i druge vatrogasne postrojbe.The master thesis describes the organization, activities, authority and command of fire departments in the Republic of Croatia. It shows the work of the Croatian Firefighting Association and the Chief Fire Commander, who are the foundation of Croatian firefighting. The paper mentions all the fire brigades that operate as a part of Croatian fire services, while special reference is made to professional fire departments. The fire department in JANAF, Žitnjak terminal, which was formed not so long ago, is presented in detail – its structure, area of operation, vehicles and equipment they own. The main part of the paper is the presentation of the fire department actions in the economy, in a very demanding intervention of transferring flammable liquid from a tank wagon, in which other fire departments also participated

No full textZačinsko bilje, začini, povrće i drugi začini u biti su arome koje se dodaju siru kako bi se diverzificirao okus sira u komercijalne svrhe. Sir je namirnica koja se konzumira u cijelom svijetu. Njegova proizvodnja od različitih vrsta mlijeka i tehnologija omogućuje ljudima da dobiju stotine varijanti proizvoda. Ovaj rad se bazira na elaboraciji važnosti biljnih ekstrakata u prehrambenoj industriji općenito te s posebnim naglaskom i kroz zasebna poglavlja na lišće masline i majčinu dušicu. Potom će se istražiti 4 inovativne tehnike u ekstrakciji bioaktivnih komponenata i opisati način kako funkcioniraju. Finalni naglasak će se staviti na poglavlje o primjeni ekstrakta lišća masline i ekstrakta majčine dušice u mljekarstvu. Cilj ovoga rada je prikazati dostignuća u primjeni ekstrakata lista masline (ELM) i majčine dušice (EMD) u mljekarstvu u posljednjih 5 godinaHerbs, spices, vegetables and other seasonings are essentially flavourings added to cheese to diversify the flavour of the cheese for commercial purposes. Cheese is a food that is consumed all over the world. Its production from different types of milk and technologies allows people to get hundreds of varieties of products. This paper is based on the elaboration of the importance of plant extracts in the food industry in general and with special emphasis and through separate chapters on olive leaves and thyme. Then, 4 innovative techniques in the extraction of bioactive components will be investigated and the way they work will be described. The final emphasis will be placed on the chapter on the application of olive leaf extract and thyme extract in dairying. No full textOvim diplomskim radom istražuje se utjecaj postojanja strategije na razvoj ljudskih potencijala na primjeru Udruge za inkluziju i promicanje kvalitete življenja djece i mladih s teškoćama Frendofon. Cilj rada bila je analiza načina upravljanja ljudskim potencijalima te na primjeru Udruge Frendofon identifikacija potencijala i izazova u njihovu razvoju. Za istraživanje koristile su se kvalitativne i kvantitativne metode poput intervjua sa zaposlenicima i volonterima, ankete zaposlenika i analize postojećih dokumenata. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako dobro osmišljena strategija upravljanja ljudskim potencijalima značajno doprinosi povećanju motivacije, jačanju timskog rada i stvaranju pozitivnog radnog okruženja. Na primjeru Udruge Frendofon utvrđeno je kako su edukacija, motivacija i prilagodba radnih uvjeta temeljni elementi za stvaranje takvoga radnog okruženja u kojem zaposlenici i volonteri udruge Frendofon mogu maksimalno koristiti svoje potencijale i doprinijeti realizaciji misije, vizije i ciljeva Udruge. Ljudski potencijali istaknuti su kao najvažniji resurs Udruge Frendofon, a kontinuirano ulaganje u njih temelj je napretka i razvoja Udruge. S obzirom da Udruga Frendofon pruža socijalne usluge djeci i mladima s višestrukim teškoćama u razvoju, ulaganjem u ljudske resurse dugoročno se osigurava visoka kvaliteta pružanja usluga i podrške ne samo djeci već i cijelim obiteljima, što je osnovni cilj djelovanja Udruge.This thesis explores the impact of having a strategic plan on the development of human resources, using the example of the Association for Inclusion and Promotion of Quality of Life for Children and Youth with Disabilities, Frendofon. The aim of the research was to analyze the management of human resources and, through the case of the Frendofon Association, identify potential and challenges in their development. The research employed qualitative and quantitative methods, such as interviews with employees and volunteers, employee surveys, and document analysis. The findings showed that a well-designed human resources management strategy significantly contributes to increased motivation, strengthened teamwork, and the creation of a positive work environment. The example of the Frendofon Association demonstrated that education, motivation, and the adjustment of working conditions are key elements in creating a work environment where employees and volunteers can fully utilize their potential and contribute to the realization of the organization’s mission, vision, and goals. Human resources are highlighted as the most important asset of the Frendofon Association, and continuous investment in them is the foundation for the organization's growth and development. Given that Frendofon provides social services to children and youth with multiple developmental disabilities, investing in human resources ensures the long-term delivery of high-quality services and support, not only to the children but also to their families, which is the core mission of the Association

Ramanova spektroskopija, infracrvena spektroskopija i masena spektrometrija pružaju dublji uvid u kemijski sastav materijala na molekularnoj razini, omogućujući precizno detektiranje eksploziva čak i u tragovima. Suvremeni trendovi uključuju primjenu umjetne inteligencije za analizu podataka dobivenih spektroskopskim tehnikama, što povećava brzinu i točnost detekcije. Minijaturizacija senzora omogućuje njihovu integraciju u različite sustave i platforme, od stacionarnih do mobilnih uređaja. Ova integracija ne samo da štiti živote i imovinu nego i unaprjeđuje opću sigurnost u javnim prostorima, industriji i vojnim aplikacijama. Daljnje istraživanje i razvoj bit će ključni za napredak tehnologija i poboljšanje zaštite od prijetnji diljem svijeta. Predmet ovog rada su eksplozivi, njihova detekcija i zaštita od požara. Cilj ovog rada je istražiti integraciju spektroskopskih tehnika s aktualnim tehnološkim trendovima za napredno otkrivanje eksploziva s primarnim fokusom na zaštitu od požara.The integration of spectroscopic techniques with contemporary trends for advanced explosive detection is crucial for improving fire safety and related threats. Raman spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry provide deeper insights into the chemical composition of materials at the molecular level, enabling precise detection of explosives even in trace amounts. Modern trends include the application of artificial intelligence for data analysis obtained from spectroscopic techniques, enhancing the speed and accuracy of detection. Sensor miniaturization facilitates their integration into various systems and platforms, from stationary to mobile devices. This integration not only protects lives and property but also enhances overall security in public spaces, industry, and military applications. No full textCilj ovog završnog rada je detaljno analizirati i predstaviti opasnosti s kojima se vatrogasci suočavaju tijekom intervencija u kojima su uključena hibridna i električna vozila, posebice s obzirom na njihov sve veći broj u prometu u posljednjih nekoliko godina. Ova vrsta vozila predstavlja specifičan i značajan rizik za vatrogasce, osobito ako nisu dovoljno educirani i upoznati s potencijalnim opasnostima koje takva vozila mogu prouzročiti. Rad obuhvaća ne samo identifikaciju i analizu ključnih rizika već i pregled opreme koja je od esencijalne važnosti za sigurno i učinkovito provođenje intervencija s ovakvim vozilima. S obzirom na kompleksnost i specifičnost hibridnih i električnih vozila, u radu se naglašava potreba za sustavnom obukom i edukacijom vatrogasaca, s ciljem njihovog temeljitog upoznavanja s potencijalnim opasnostima te osposobljavanja za pravilno i sigurno postupanje tijekom intervencija na ovim vozilima.The aim of this thesis is to thoroughly analyze and present the dangers that firefighters encounter during interventions involving hybrid and electric vehicles, particularly considering their increasing presence on the roads in recent years. This type of vehicle poses specific and significant risks to firefighters, especially if they are not sufficiently trained and familiar with the potential hazards these vehicles can cause. The thesis encompasses not only the identification and analysis of key risks but also a review of the equipment that is essential for the safe and effective conduct of interventions involving such vehicles. Given the complexity and specificity of hybrid and electric vehicles, the thesis emphasizes the need for systematic training and education of firefighters, with the goal of thoroughly acquainting them with potential dangers and preparing them for proper and safe handling during interventions with these vehicle

No full textU anketama provedenim u dva poduzeća za proizvodnju odjeće, djelatnice su procijenile stupanj boli s kojim se suočavaju prilikom obavljanja rada prema dijelovima tijela na ljestvici od 0 do 4, gdje 0 predstavlja ne postojanje boli, a 4 neprekidnu bol. Najveći broj radnica osjeća bol u gornjem, srednjem i donjem dijelu leđa. U poduzeću Keteks postotak boli u gornjem dijelu leđa je 78%, srednjem dijelu leđa 74% te donjem dijelu leđa čak 84,5%. U poduzeću Pletix je postotak boli u gornjem dijelu leđa 76%, u srednjem dijelu leđa 68% te donjem dijelu leđa 84%. Velik postotak boli djelatnice oba poduzeća osjećaju i u vratu, u poduzeću Keteks 65% ispitanih radnica, dok u poduzeću Pletix 76%.In surveys conducted in two clothing industries, female workers assessed the degree of pain they face while working according to body parts on a scale from 0 to 4, where 0 represents no pain and 4 represents continuous pain. The majority of female workers experience pain in the upper, middle, and lower back. In the company Keteks, the percentage of pain in the upper back is 78%, in the middle back 74%, and in the lower back 84,5%. In the company Pletix, the percentage of pain in the upper back is 76%, in the middle back 68%, and in the lower back 84%. A significant percentage of workers in both companies also report neck pain - 65% of surveyed workers in Keteks and 76% in Pletix
