CARACTERISTICS OF FOOTBALL GAME IN SYSTEM 1-4-3-3
Football is a sport activity which contains number of simple and complex movements that can be presented by individuals, group of players or the whole team through structural movement and situational movement at any moment during the football match and on any part of football field. Regarding to that, there are numbers of tactical varieties in different football systems which teams can do to gain advantage and secure the victory over the opposing team. The main purpose of this thesis is to present basics of football 1-4-3-3 system, present and explain characteristics of players on different positions in system 1-4-3-3, look in football history throughout development of football game and present different systems that were used or are still used till this day
ANALYSIS OF THE HANDBALL RULE 'ZERO STEP' IN OPEN AND CLOSED MOTOR PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
Handball is a dynamic team sport game in which a series of actions can take place in a short period of time and in a small space, without the human eye being able to follow it. The inertion of the human eye, in this case the referee's eye, can lead to numerous controversies related to the rules of the handball game. In the matches, everyone has the same goal, which is to beat the opponent, so they try to score a goal in every possible way, but because of that, there are two referees on the field who distribute justice. In this paper, the 'zero step' in open (matches) and closed (training) motor performance program was analyzed and an attempt was made to prove that it is not possible to simultaneously land on two feet, which significantly changes the rules of the handball game. The matches of the European Handball Championship 2024 held in Germany were analyzed in the matches that ended in a draw, and whether referee errors related to unjudged steps during the performance of the 'zero step' could have affected the final result. 18 senior players of the Kozala handball club, aged 16 to 24, participated in the research. For the purposes of the research, a motor task was composed in which, in the first phase, there was a jump to the 'zero step' from a standing position and a run, and in the second phase, a given feint and a shot at the goal. The results showed that no player jumped on both feet at the same time. A qualitative analysis of the matches of the European Championship in 2024 came to the conclusion that the final outcome could have been different, if there were no refereeing errors during the performance of the zero step. According to the obtained results, the anthropometric characteristics do not affect the difference in the time between the contacts of the left and right foot with the ground during the performance of the closed structure of the 'zero step' from the initial stance and from the take-off
Factors that may affect the adoption of the basics of ski technique
Aim of this study was to determine how certain psychological factors will affect the adoption of the basics of alpine skiing technique in beginners. The aim was also to determine what difference in opinion and feeling of participants would be, before and after a ten-day ski school with licensed ski instructors. The research was conducted on a sample of 41 participants. All participants were student age and for the first time they faced with ski school, as well as with an equipment needed in this sport on the snow. Participants had a task to fill out three separate questionnaires, that checked their fear and level of self-efficacy and courage. The initial fulfillment was carried out after the first day of getting acquainted with the ski equipment and the first attempts to overcome the gentle ski slope, and final one, at the end of the ski school. The questionnaires together consisted of 50 claims, of which 9 of them related to fear, 10 to self-efficacy and 31 claims to a sense of courage. The results of the Chi square test, comparing each question, did not obtain statistically significant differences between the initial and final measurements in almost, not even one question. The only statistically significant difference was established in the statement: "And when faced with the possibility of injury, my performance is at the highest level", (p=0,03). With the obtained results we can conclude that fear was not largely present when approaching learning of alpine skiing, therefore there were no major changes in the second enquiry. Given that the results of self-efficacy and courage were relatively high before learning process, there was also no change in the second measurement. Such results can be attributed to the fact that the sample was relatively small, but on the other hand, the research was conducted on a group of people who stand out with their motor skills in relation to the rest of the population. Particularly, the participants were students of the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb. There are many factors that need additional research in order to get more accurate results and how such research could be applied and used for help in the work of ski schools
Differences in Physical Fitness of Students from Urban and Rural Areas
Physical fitness of students is a crucial factor for both physical and mental health. Besides health benefits, students who are more physically fit are more likely to participate in various extracurricular activities, which will further enhance their physical fitness and reduce the likelihood of developing various non-communicable diseases in the future. The aim of this study is to determine if there is a difference in the physical fitness of students from rural and urban areas in Croatia. The study involved a convenience sample of 8th-grade students from both urban and rural areas. Students from Zagreb represented the urban sample, while students from the Bjelovar-Bilogora County, Istria County, and Osijek-Baranja County constituted the rural sample. A total of 361 students (55.12% female) with an average age of 14.1±0.33 years participated, of which 213 (59%) were from rural areas. Data were collected using a questionnaire completed by the student in collaboration with their physical education teacher. To determine the differences in physical fitness between students from urban and rural areas, categorized into groups of "Insufficiently Physically Fit" and "Sufficiently Physically Fit," a chi-square test of homogeneity was applied. The results showed that a higher proportion of students from urban areas (50.7%) were sufficiently physically fit compared to the proportion of sufficiently fit students from rural areas (39.9%), with a statistically significant difference in proportions of 0.108, p=0.043. Based on the conducted research, we have determined that students from urban areas are more physically fit than their peers from rural areas. These findings provide a foundation for further research to better understand the causes of these differences. This knowledge can serve as a valuable basis for developing strategies and interventions aimed at improving the physical fitness of students in rural areas

Organizational structure and work plan of the HAOK Mladost volleyball club in the 2023/2024 competition season
The goal of this final work is to present the organizational structure of HAOK Mladost, our largest volleyball club. In the same way, we wanted to present the overall preparation of the work plan of all stakeholders in the club for one competition season. Club Mladost is a specific sports club because it has a male and female competitive team with all younger age categories.l This specificity is the biggest challenge for the club in the preparation and implementation of a competitive season.
In this final diploma thesis, all the club's teams that compete in as many as 39 different competitions are analyzed.
We have tried to explain the structure of the club's financial income, which is financed from several different sources, as well as the financial challenges in the structure of expenses that we face since it is a very large sports club.
Problems are also presented, primarily in the financing system of club sports, which we encounter every day when managing a large sports organization such as the HAOK Mladost club. We also list suggestions that would directly help club sports in the Republic of Croatia, which is currently in a very difficult and unenviable situation. In the end, the results of the HAOK Mladost club in one competitive season show that the club achieves results above normal possibilities in these difficult conditions
However, in order to achieve something more, a major turnaround in the financing of sports, especially club sports, will be needed
HOW TO IMPROVE FOOT HEALTH AND FUNCTION IN FOOTBALLERS
In this thesis, we looked at the complex system of muscles, bones, tendons and ligaments in the ankle and foot, as well as specific loads and their development in football players. With the regard to the already mentioned complexity oft he joint and the requirements in prefessional sports nowadays, methods have been synthesized to improve and ensure health in the joint and foot and contribute to maximum function at all times. The development of feet and joints during the growth and maturation of atheletes over the years was analyzed, as well as the anthropological characteristics and motor skills that change during maturation until the final stage in professional spors. The main and fundamental goal is to strenghten the foot and ankle and to completely strenghten the desired movement at maximum speed and maximum power, without increasing the risk of injury, that is, to reduce the number of foot and ankle injuries
The application of handball school elements in maintaining coordination of upper extremities on the elderly
The ageing process reduces the motor and functional abilities of third-age persons, which has a negative impact on their quality of life. One of the main problems of older people is physical inactivity which weakens the coordination of upper extremities which are important for their independence and the performance of everyday activities. Since handball, as a complex sports game, requires high motor development, and handball players are known to have highly developed upper extremity coordination because it is the hands and shoulder belts that are one of the most important parts of the body for their handball practice. As mentioned due to the demanding handball game, we will apply elements from handball school that are intended and adapted for younger age groups, and have proven successful in developing upper extremity coordination in young handball players.
Therefore, our goal in this paper will be to design and present a gerontokinesiological program in which we will apply elements from handball school, such as catching, adding and guiding the ball, in order to strengthen the muscles of hands and shoulder belts and to maintain coordination of upper extremities in older people. The paper will provide an insight into how these exercises will improve the quality of life and carry out everyday activities
DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS OF THE UPPER EXTREMITIES OF YOUNG HANDBALL PLAYER. CASE STUDY
Injuries are an inherent part of sports, and with increased training intensity and competition, they can become more frequent if athletes are not adequately prepared for such strain and stimulus. This paper describes the case of a young 20-year-old handball player who sought medical help after noticing symptoms of arm discoloration, swelling, pain and pressure. Upon examination and diagnosis, he was found to have deep vein thrombosis of the upper extremity and pulmonary embolism. He was admitted to the emergency intesive care unit for five days. He was treated with anticoagulant therapy and discharged home after the fifth day due to improved condition and reduced symptoms. Further more, therapy and follow-up were prescribed. The patient attended follow-up appointments approximately every six months until complete recanalization of the veins without the presence of thrombus residue was established. As his condition improved, his therapy was adjusted, and he gradually returned to sports activities. He started with low-intensity aerobic endurance activities in the form of continuous running for 30-45 minutes, 2-3 times per week, and on September 17, 2019 he partially joined handball practices. He started attending handball training sessions daily, participating in parts of the training focused on aerobic and anaerobic endurance, as well as exercises that did not require using his right arm. He gradually adapted to the workload to be as prepared as possible for a full return to handball training once he received clearance for complete participation. Further more, diagnostics revealed thoracic outlet syndrome as the cause of the thrombosis. During arm abduciton, the first rib and clavicle cause mehanical compression of subclavian vein, and due to the potential for recurrent thrombosis, surgical resection of the first rib was suggested. However, the patient chose to continue with conservative treatment and decided to not go on surgery. The patient actively returned to handball training and competition after two years and three months and remains active without symptoms of recurrent thrombosis
SELECTION AND SYSTEMATIZATION OF ELEMENTARY GAMES USING DIFFERENT GROUPINGS OF NATURAL FORMS OF MOVEMENT
Elementarne igre potiču aktiviranje cijelog tijela djeteta, razvijaju njegovo samopouzdanje, potiču sklapanje i održavanje prijateljstva i povećavaju djetetovu hrabrost i odvažnost. Kroz elementarnu igru djeca lakše usavršavaju usvojene prirodne oblike kretanja, poput: hodanja, trčanja, skokove, preskakivanja, kotrljanja, dizanja, nošenja, vučenja, guranje, bacanja, gađanja, hvatanja, dodavanja, stoga predstavlja jednu od vodećih metoda rada u tjelesnoj i zdravstvenoj kulturi. Obuhvaćaju sve one motoričke programe pomoću kojih je moguće: savladavati prostor, savladavati prepreke, svladavati otpore i manipulirati objektima (spravama, rekvizitima i pomagalima).
Primjerene različitim uzrastima djece s obzirom na njihove mogućnosti i znanja, razvojnim karakteristikama, prostornim i materijalnim uvjetima rada, modificiranje postojećih igara, uz mogućnost primjene u različitim dijelovima sata tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture.Elementary games encourage the activation of the child's whole body, develop his self-confidence, encourage making and maintaining friendships, and increase the child's courage and daring. Through elementary play, children more easily improve the adopted natural forms of movement, such as: walking, running, jumping, skipping, rolling, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, throwing, shooting, catching, passing, therefore it represents one of the leading methods of work in physical and health culture. Natural forms of movement can be defined as basic, basic motor skills. They include all those motor programs with which it is possible to: overcome space, overcome obstacles, overcome resistance and manipulate objects (devices, props and aids). Improving the basic forms of movement are a necessary prerequisite for the best possible, high-quality learning and mastering of specific motor skills.
The goal of this thesis is to select and systematize elementary games using different contents of natural forms of movement. Suitable for different ages of children with regard to their abilities and knowledge, developmental characteristics, spatial and material working conditions, modification of existing games, with the possibility of application in different parts of the physical and health education lesson
