Dimensioning of Retention Basin : Undergraduate Thesis
Tema završnog rada je dimenzioniranje retencijskog bazena za potrebe odvodnje slivnog dijela – prometnice. Oborinska voda iz retencije istječe u kanalizacijski sustav i prolazi kroz sustav pročišćavanja prije ispuštanja u prijemnik. Zadano je trajanje kiše, maksimalni protok izlaza iz retencije te se proračun radi za područje grada Splita koristeći ITP krivulju. Oblik retencije te proračun napravljeni su da je osigurano tečenje pod tlakom.The topic of the final paper is the sizing of the retention basin for the drainage of the catchment area - the road. Rainwater from retention flows into the sewage system and passes through the purification system before being discharged into the receiver. The duration of the rain and maximum flow of the retention outlet are known, and the calculation is made for the area of the city of Split using the ITP curve. The shape of the retention and the calculation were made to ensure flow under pressure

Rad uključuje geotehničke analize tla, određivanje stabilnih nagiba kosina jame, te projektiranje sustava zaštite s mlaznim betonom i geotehničkim sidrima.This thesis deals with the design of an excavation pit for a residential building in Gornja Podstrana. The thesis includes a geotechnical analysis of the soil, determination of stable slopes of the pit, and design of a protection system with shotcrete and geotechnical anchors
Seismic Analysis of the Bell Tower of the Cathedral of Saint Domnius Using the Finite-Discrete Element Method : Master's Thesis
U ovom diplomskom radu prikazana je seizmička analiza sjevernog pročelja zvonika Katedrale Sv. Duje u Splitu korištenjem kombinirane metode konačno–diskretnih elemenata računalnim programom „Y“. Kao referentni događaj uzeta su tri potresa koja su se dogodila u prošlosti: potres u Petrovcu 1979., Campano Lucanu 1980., te South Icelandu 2000. Kao ulazni podatak opterećenja konstrukcije korišteni su zapisi o horizontalnim i vertikalnim ubrzanjima ta tri potresa. Rezultati proračuna prikazani su kroz niz grafičkih prikaza koji prikazuju pomake vrha konstrukcije tijekom simuliranog potresnog djelovanja.This thesis presents the seismic analysis of the northern facade of the bell tower of the Cathedral of Saint Domnius in Split using the combined finite-discrete element method analyzed by the computer program „Y“. Three earthquakes that occurred in the past was taken as a reference event: the earthquake in Petrovac in 1979, Campano Lucan in 1980, and South Iceland in 2000. For those three earthquakes, the records of horizontal and vertical accelerations were used as input data for the structural load. The results of the calculations are presented through a series of graphic displays that show the displacements of the top of the structure during the simulated earthquake action
Assessment of Seismic Resistance of the Bell Tower of the Cathedral of Saint Domnius Using the Finite-Discrete Element Method : Master's Thesis
U ovom radu predstavljena je primjena razvijenog numeričkog modela s ciljem analize ponašanja građevinske konstrukcije pod djelovanjem potresa. Analiza je fokusirana na potresne događaje koji su se već dogodili u prošlosti, a to su zapisi potresa Petrovac, Campano Lucano i South Iceland. Analizu provodimo na zidanoj konstrukciji koja ima namjenu zvonika kao cjeloviti dio katedale Svetog Duje, a smještena je u Splitu, u Hrvatskoj. Istraživanje je usmjereno na detaljnu analizu suhozidane konstrukcije koristeći kombiniranu metodu konačno - diskretnih elemenata uz pomoć računalnog programa Y-2D. Rezultati istraživanja prikazuju krajnja stanja konstrukcije, uključujući fazu potpunog kolapsa, pružajući tako vrijedne uvide u otpornost i stabilnost suhozidanih struktura pod seizmičkim opterećenjem. Ova studija doprinosi boljem razumijevanju mehanizama oštećenja i može poslužiti kao osnova za daljnje unapređenje metoda za analizu i dizajn seizmički otpornih građevinskih konstrukcija.This study presents the application of a developed numerical model for analyzing the behavior of building structures under earthquake loading. The analysis focuses on past seismic events, specifically the earthquake records of Petrovac, Campano Lucano, and South Iceland. The analysis is conducted on a masonry structure serving as the bell tower, which is an integral part of the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, located in Split, Croatia. The research is directed towards a detailed analysis of the dry-stone masonry structure using the combined finite-discrete element method with the assistance of the Y-2D computer program. The research results illustrate the ultimate states of the structure, including the phase of complete collapse, thus providing valuable insights into the resilience and stability of dry-stone structures under seismic loading. This study contributes to a better understanding of damage mechanisms and can serve as a basis for further improvement of methods for the analysis and design of seismically resistant building structures
Hydraulic Calculation of the Kukljica Reservoir and Associated Pipelines : Undergraduate Thesis
U ovom radu izvršen je hidraulički proračun volumena vodospreme Kukljica analitičkim proračunom ovisno o odnosu promjenjive potrošnje tijekom pojedinih sati u danu i dinamike dotoka opskrbnih količina. Cilj proračuna je osigurati potrebni pogonski tlak u vodoopskrbnoj mreži te pohranu potrebnog volumena vode za dnevno izravnavanje. Također je izvršen hidraulički proračun glavnog dovodnog i opskrbnog cjevovoda pod pretpostavkom stacionarnog tečenja primjenjujući Bernoullijevu i Darcy-Weisbachovu jednadžbu za realnu tekućinu.In this paper, a hydraulic calculation of the volume of the Kukljica water reservoir was performed through analytical calculations, based on the relationship between variable consumption during different hours of the day and the supply inflow. The aim of the calculation is to ensure the required operating pressure in the water supply network and to store the required volume of water. A hydraulic calculation of the main supply and distribution pipeline was also carried out under the assumption of steady flow, applying Bernoulli's equation and the Darcy-Weisbach equation for real fluids
Hydrological Analysis of Precipitation, Discharge, and Turbidity During Recession Periods of the Karst Spring Žrnovnica, 2015.-2019. : Master's Thesis
U sklopu ovog diplomskog rada određena su recesijska razdoblja u periodu od 2015. do 2019. godine za krški izvor Žrnovnica. Analizirani su podaci oborina na mjernim postajama Bisko, Dugopolje i Muć, te podaci protoka i mutnoće izvora Žrnovnica. Obavljena je usporedna analiza i kroskorelacija, a za svaku godinu je identificirana i klasificirana histerezna petlja.As part of this thesis, the recession periods in the period from 2015 to 2019 were determined for the karst spring Žrnovnica. The precipitation data at the measuring stations Bisko, Dugopolje, and Muć, as well as the discharge and turbidity data of the Žrnovnica spring, were analyzed. Comparative analysis and cross-correlation were performed, and a hysteresis loop was identified and classified for each year
Calculation of the Wooden Load-bearing Roof Structure with a Span of 18.4 x 53 m : Undergraduate Thesis
U završnom radu, analizirana je drvena nosiva krovna konstrukcija raspona 18.4 x 53 m s lokacijom u Rijeci. S obzirom na opterećenja koja djeluju na konstrukciju, izvršeno je dimenzioniranje nosive konstrukcije odnosno kontrola graničnog stanja nosivosti i graničnog stanja uporabljivosti prema EC5, te su izrađeni nacrti i detalji spojeva. Kao dodatna analiza napravljen je proračun nosivosti konstrukcije i spojeva uslijed djelovanja požara u trajanju od 30 min prema EC5.In the final thesis, a load-bearing wooden roof structure with a span of 18.4 x 53 m and located in Rijeka was analyzed. With regard to the loads acting on the structure, the dimensioning of the load-bearing structure was performed, i.e. the limit state of the bearing capacity and the limit state of serviceability were checked according to EC5, and the plans and details of the joints were made. As an additional analysis, the calculation of the bearing capacity of the structure and joints due to the action of fire for a duration of 30 minutes according to EC5 was made

Calculation of a Glued Laminated Support Beam Span of 25 m : Undergraduate Thesis
Za završni rad radio sam proračun lijepljeno lameliranog nosača (LLN) raspona 25m koji je dio konstrukcije hale dimenzija 25x40 m na području Splita. Za proračun konstrukcije koristio sam se SCIA engineer i EC5.Završni rad sadrži proračun konstrukcije na GSU i GSN te proračun spoja LLN i armirano-betonski zid te proračun otpornosti na požar u trajanju od 30 minuta.For the final thesis, I made a calculation of a glued laminated beam (LLN) with a span of 25 m, which is part of the construction of a hall with dimensions of 25x40 m in the area of Split. I used SCIA Engineer and EC5 for the construction calculation. The final thesis contains the calculation of the structure on the limited state of the serviceability and the limited state of bearing capacity, and the plan and calculation of the joint connection between the LLN and the reinforced concrete wall. Finally a calculation of fire resistance for a duration of 30 minutes
