    Reinforced Concrete Building Project in Split : Undergraduate Thesis

    Projektni zadatak ove armiranobetonske zgrade u Splitu je proračunati pozicije i odrediti potrebnu armaturu za pojedine dijelove građevine, prikazati model zgrade u programu SCIA Engineer 22.0 sa kombinacijama za granično stanje uporabljivosti (GSU), granično stanje nosivosti (GSN) te za potresne kombinacije u smjerovima x i y. Također u projektu se nalaze i nacrti armature za grede i ploče sa iskazima armature.The project task of this reinforced concrete building in Split is to calculate the positions and determine the required reinforcement for individual parts of the building, to display the building model in the SCIA Engineer 22.0 program with combinations for the serviceability limit state (SLS), load-bearing limit state (ULS) and seismic combinations in the x and y directions. Also in the project, there are reinforcement drawings for beams and slabs with reinforcement statements

    Rad prikazuje seizmičku analizu konstrukcije Protiron koja se nalazi u Splitu. Analiza je izvršena pomoću kombinirane metode konačno–diskretnih elemenata, koristeći računali program Y-2D. Konstrukcija je opterećena potresnim djelovanjem pri čemu su korišteni zapisi izmjerenih oscilacija tla za tri potresa: Petrovac (Crna Gora, 1979.), Campano Lucano (Italija, 1980.) i South Iceland (Island, 2000.). Rezultat proračuna opterećene konstrukcije je dat u obliku dijagrama pomaka konstrukcije u vremenu za pojedino opterećenje te vizualni prikaz oštećenja za svaki vremenski korak. Dobiveni rezultati su omogućili procjenu ponašanja konstrukcije pri pojedinom opterećenju, usporedbu ponašanja za različite vrste potresa te mehanizam loma.This paper shows a seismic analysis of the construction of Protiron located in Split, Croatia. The Analysis is executed with combined finite-discrete element method computer program “Y“. The Structure is loaded with a dynamic load of three earthquakes: Petrovac (Crna Gora, 1979.), Campano Lucano (Italy, 1980.) and South Iceland (Island, 2000.). The results of the calculation are time/displacement diagrams for every load individually and a simulation of the collapse sequence with the time intervals for each sequence. These results provide insight into the behavior of the structure impacted by dynamic load, behavior comparison for each load, fracture process, and time necessary for the collapse of the structure

    U ovom radu izvršen je hidraulički proračun dijela vodovodne mreže na otoku Ugljanu koristeći metodu relaksacije. Cilj proračuna je osigurati učinkovitost i pouzdanost sustava opskrbe vodom. Metoda se temelji na proračunu tlakova u čvorovima koji predstavljaju elemente vodovodne mreže, temeljem pretpostavljenih piezometarskih visina u pojedinim čvorovima. Analizirani su različiti dijelovi vodovodne mreže kako bi se odredile optimalne veličine cjevovoda i potrebni tlakovi. Rezultati proračuna pokazali su da je sustav sposoban zadovoljiti sve potrebe potrošača uz održavanje stabilnog tlaka, čime se osigurava kvalitetna opskrba vodom za stanovnike otoka.In this thesis, a hydraulic calculation of a section of the water supply network on the island of Ugljan is performed using the relaxation method. The aim of the calculation is to ensure the efficiency and reliability of the water supply system. The methodology is based on pressure calculation in each node, representing elements of the water supply network. Different parts of the network were analyzed to determine the optimal pipe size and required pipe pressure

Izvedba građevine je zidana sa armirano betonskom međukatnom monolitnom pločom i fert gredicama kao konstrukcija krova. Projekt sadrži: tehnički opis konstrukcije, opće i posebne tehničke uvjete, plan kontrole i osiguranja kvalitete, proračun nosivih konstrukcijskih elemenata i karakteristične građevinske nacrte i armaturne planove.The static design of a small family house is presented in this work. The building consists of two stories: the ground floor and the attic with a flat roof. The construction of the house is masonry walls with reinforced concrete slab between stories and fert structure as roof structure. The work includes technical description of the structure, general and particular conditions of civil engineering works, control plan, and quality assurance plan, calculation of the main structural elements as well as characteristic structural plans and reinforcement plans

    Izveden je proračun drvene konstrukcije rešetkastog nosača koji ima dimenzije 20.6 x 45 m. Drvena konstrukcija smještena je u Zagrebu. Cijeli proračun obuhvaća proračun promjenjivih i stalnih opterećenja, dimenzioniranje elemenata i spojeva. Također uključuje i vatrootpornost cijele konstrukcije i spojeva u trajanju od 30 minuta. Izrađeni su i nacrti za svaki navedeni proračun.The calculation of the wooden structure of the lattice roof with dimensions 20.6 x 45 m. The construction is located in Zagreb. The whole calculation includes constant and variable loads, dimensioned elements, and connections. The fire resistance of the structure and the fire resistance of connections for a duration of 30 minutes were proven. Drawings and details are made for every calculation

    Završni rad obrađuje teoriju plastičnosti kao koncept u projektiranju građevinskih konstrukcija. Teorija plastičnosti omogućava efikasnije korištenje materijala, smanjujući težinu i troškove konstrukcija, ali nosi rizik od trajnih deformacija. Kroz rad je pokazana razlika između teorije elastičnosti i teorije plastičnosti, prikazan Prandtlov dijagram idealnog elastoplastičnog tijela, objašnjeni osnovni pojmovi poput momenta plastičnosti i plastičnog zgloba te prikazani uvjeti plastičnosti da bi se pojavile plastične deformacije u nekoj točki tijela. Također je pokazan način plastifikacije poprečnog I presjeka te kružnog presjeka torzijom. Na kraju su teorijom plastičnosti riješena 2 primjera zadatka i uspoređena s dopuštenim elastičnim momentom.This thesis explores the theory of plasticity as a concept in the design of civil engineering structures. The theory of plasticity allows for more efficient use of materials, reducing the weight and cost of structures, but carries the risk of permanent deformations. Throughout the paper, the difference between elasticity theory and plasticity theory is demonstrated, the Prandtl diagram of an ideal elastoplastic body is presented, and key concepts such as plastic moment and plastic hinge are explained. Additionally, the conditions for plasticity to induce plastic deformations at a certain point in the body are explained. The process of plastification of a rectangular cross-section and a circular cross-section under torsion is also demonstrated. Finally, two example problems are solved using the theory of plasticity and compared with the allowable elastic moment

    Projektirana je čelična hala smještena u Rijeci, pri čemu su dimenzionirani glavni nosivi elementi, sekundarni nosači, spregovi i temelji. Proračun je proveden prema graničnom stanju nosivosti (GSN) i uporabljivosti (GSU). Konstrukcija je podložna stalnim (vlastita težina i dodatna stalna opterećenja) i promjenjivim opterećenjima (snijeg i vjetar). Unutarnje sile su izračunate korištenjem programa „SCIA Engineer 23.0“.A steel hall located in Rijeka has been designed, including the main supporting structure, secondary beams, bracing, and foundations. The design was based on the ultimate limit state (ULS) and serviceability limit state (SLS). The structure is subjected to permanent loads (self-weight and additional permanent loads) and variable loads (snow and wind). The internal forces were calculated using the software “SCIA Engineer 23.0.

    U radu je detaljno analiziran problem upravljanja oborinskim vodama na prostoru Kampusa Sveučilišta u Splitu, s posebnim naglaskom na implementaciju parkinga kao akumulacijske površine za oborinske vode. Cilj je bio istražiti mogućnosti primjene poroznih površina i poroznog betona u svrhu smanjenja opterećenja kanalizacijskog sustava i smanjenja rizika od poplava na urbaniziranom području kampusa. Kroz analizu prostornih podataka dobivenih korištenjem GIS tehnologije, utvrđeni su glavni koridori površinskog otjecanja te su definirana slivna područja unutar promatranog prostora. Vršni protoci oborinskih voda izračunati su pomoću racionalne metode za povratni period od pet godina, čime je procijenjena učinkovitost predloženog rješenja. Zaključeno je da implementacija akumulacijskog polja ispod parkirališta, u kombinaciji s poroznim betonom, predstavlja dugoročno održivo rješenje koje može značajno smanjiti rizik od poplava i rasteretiti kanalizacijski sustav. Predloženo rješenje pozicionirano je u prostor Kampusa kroz grafičke priloge koji uključuju situacijski prikaz i poprečni presjek parkirališta.The paper provides a detailed analysis of stormwater management at the University of Split Campus, with a particular focus on the implementation of parking areas as stormwater retention surfaces. The goal was to explore the potential use of permeable surfaces and porous concrete to reduce the load on the drainage system and mitigate the risk of flooding in the urbanized campus area. Through the analysis of spatial data obtained using GIS technology, the main surface runoff corridors were identified, and sub-catchment areas within the observed space were defined. Peak stormwater flows were calculated using the rational method for a five-year return period, assessing the effectiveness of the proposed solution. The study concludes that the implementation of a retention field beneath parking areas, combined with the use of porous concrete, represents a long-term sustainable solution that can significantly reduce the risk of flooding and alleviate the burden on the drainage system. The proposed solution is positioned within the campus space through graphical attachments, including a site plan and a cross-sectional view of the parking area

    Prema osnovnim projektnim podatcima projekta Most preko Rječine izrađen je numerički model konstrukcije. Ukupni slobodni profil (razmak između ograda mosta) iznosi 8,50 m. Duljina mosta iznosi 31,00 m. Nosivu konstrukciju pristupnog mosta čini donji ustroj sa betonskim upornjacima te gornji ustroj koji čini rasponska konstrukcija koja se sastoji od kontinuirane armiranobetonske ploče. Usvojena visina rešetkastog nosača je H=3,50 m, nosač ima osam polja konstantne dužine 3,875 m. Elementi čelične konstrukcije rešetki izvode se u zavarenoj izvedbi od čelika S355. Kontinuirana armiranobetonska kolnička konstrukcija predviđena je od betona klase čvrstoće C35/45 i armaturom B500B. Nakon proračuna čelične konstrukcije u računalnom programu, izvršena je provjera na granična stanja te provjera stabilnosti. Spojevi su proračunati nakon definiranja konačnih profila. Svi proračuni su izvedeni prema HRN EN 1991, HRN EN 1992, HRN EN 1993.According to basic design data of the project Rječina bridge a numerical model of the structure was created. The total free profile (the distance between the bridge fences) is 8.50 m. The length of the bridge is 31.00 m. The load-bearing structure of the access bridge consists of a lower structure with concrete abutments and an upper structure that consists of a span structure consisting of a continuous reinforced concrete slab. The adopted height of the lattice girder is H=3.50 m, the girder has eight fields of constant length of 3.875 m. The elements of the steel structure of the gratings are made of welded steel S355. The continuous reinforced concrete pavement construction is made of concrete strength class C35/45 and B500B reinforcement. After calculating the steel structure in the computer program, a limit state check and a stability check were performed. Steel connections are calculated after defining the final profiles. All calculations were performed according to HRN EN 1991, HRN EN 1992, and HRN EN 1993
