Equestrian Center Vrba : Master's Thesis
Projekt konjičkog centra smješten je u naselju Vrba, u planiranoj rekreacijskoj zoni. Konjički centar programski udomljava tri osnovne namjene: sport, terapijske programe i turizam. The equestrian center project is located in the village of Vrba, within a planned recreational area. The equestrian center programmatically accommodates three main purposes: sports, therapeutic programs, and tourism. The spatial organization suggests the convergence of different types of users, who share spaces designed to meet the needs of both people and horses. The emphasis is on designing spaces that promote a partnership and equal relationship between horse and rider. The facility is managed on the principles of a circular economy, and in cooperation with the local community, local resources and sustainable practices are utilized to reduce the ecological footprint and encourage the community to adopt a sustainable way of life, creating a model for future projects
Poje + : Master's Thesis
The "Poje+" project on the devastated area next to the Pelješac bridge is based on contemporary architectural concepts and new types of cultural institutions. It represents an adequate solution to the need to improve the tourist offer, as well as economic development, education, and the importance of preserving the ecological balance in the special reserve ''Malostonski zaljev''. The value of this park is the ability to change through interaction with people and events. To present Pelješac, the peninsula was seen as a disassembled building and assembled according to new principles. The park project thus consists of 5 layers inspired by elements found on the peninsula, which overlap to create unusual situations, designed so that the observed content arouses the visitors' interest, creates a multi-layered experience, and awakens emotions. The "pillars" of the interpretation comprise horticulture strips, points-sales presentation pavilions, and an event that generates the space itself. Architecture is not a goal, but a means - a basis for an event
Reinforced Concrete Building Project in Zadar : Undergraduate Thesis
The project task of this reinforced concrete building in Zadar is to calculate the positions and determine the required reinforcement for individual parts of the building, to display the building model in the SCIA Engineer 22.0 program with combinations for the serviceability limit state (SLS), load-bearing limit state (ULS) and for seismic combinations in the x and y directions. Also in the project, there are reinforcement drawings for beams and slabs with reinforcement statements
Conceptual Project of Local Road : Undergraduate Thesis
The Main Project of the Coastal Wall in the Port Open to Public Traffic Mala Pošta in Ploče : Master's Thesis
This paper investigates the stability of a precast, reinforced concrete coastal wall founded on a stone embankment. The analysis utilizes Geo5 software to assess the wall's resistance to overturning and sliding under predetermined dimensions. The evaluation considers both the bearing capacity of the foundation soil and the slope stability of the underlying stone embankment to ensure the overall stability of the structure. By analyzing the stability of the embankment slope for a critical combination of loads, the maximum utilization was determined using Bishop's method
Seismic Analysis of the Bell Tower of Saint Dominus Cathedral Using the Combined Finite-Discrete Element Method : Master's Thesis
The thesis presents the seismic analysis of the bell tower of Saint Domnius Cathedral using the combined finite–discrete element method. The structure discretized to finite elements is analyzed using the „Y-2D“ computer program. Records of measured ground oscillations for three earthquakes were used as the seismic load: Petrovac, Campano Lucano, and South Iceland. Results are presented with a diagram of the structure's displacement over time and a visual display of crack propagation for each time step. The obtained results allow us to evaluate and compare the behavior of the structure for each individual seismic load
