    Comparison of Numerical and Physical Model of Wave Field Reflection and Shoaling : Undergraduate Thesis

    Ovaj završni rad istražuje refleksiju i uplićavanje valova kroz dva pristupa: fizikalni model i numerički model u MATLAB-u. Fizikalni model koristi plastičnu kutiju (34 x 54 cm), LED svjetla, spužvu za umanjenje refleksije valova na stijenkama bazena, 3D printane modele obale, električni motor za stvaranje valova i digitalni mjerač razine vode u bazenu. Eksperimenti su provedeni za različite tipove obale i tri različita vala. Numerički model programiran u MATLAB-u izračunava plan refrakcije, uplićavanje i refleksiju uz zadavanje koeficijenta refleksije u obalnoj zoni. Cilj rada bio je usporediti rezultate fizikalnih eksperimenata i numeričkih simulacija te analizirati njihovu točnost i efikasnost. Rezultati su pokazali visoku podudarnost, uz razmatranje odstupanja zbog eksperimentalnih ograničenja i aproksimacija primijenjenih u numeričkom modelu. Zaključno, rad istražuje i ukazuje na prednosti i izazove oba pristupa u analizi ponašanja valnog polja uslijed procesa refleksije i uplićavanja.This thesis investigates the phenomena of wave field reflection and shoaling by implementing two approaches: a physical model and a numerical model using MATLAB. The physical model uses a plastic rectangular box (34 x 54 cm), LEDs, a sponge layer to reduce reflections from the box walls, 3D-printed coastal models filled with cement paste, an electric motor with a paddle for generating waves, and a digital water level sensor. Experiments were conducted with different obstacles, indirectly measuring wave height and period. The numerical model in MATLAB calculates refraction patterns, shoaling, and reflection by assigning a reflection coefficient in the coastal zone. The aim was to compare the results from physical experiments with those from numerical simulations and analyze their accuracy and efficiency. The results showed a high level of agreement, considering deviations due to experimental limitations and numerical approximations. In conclusion, this study has highlighted the advantages and challenges of both approaches when analyzing wave field behavior under the reflection and shoaling transformation processe

    U diplomskom radu je prikazan glavni projekt stambeno-poslovne građevine u Splitu. Građevina je podijeljena na dva objekta, objekt A s 5 etaža, objekt B sa 6 etaža, koje su međusobno povezane preko garažne etaže. Objekt A sastoji se od po 2 stana po etaži od prizemlja do četvrtog kata, a objekt B sastoji se od 2 poslovna prostora u razini prizemlja te po 2 stana po etaži od prvog do petog kata. Građevina je izvedena u armiranom betonu monolitnom izvedbom. Proračun nosivih elemenata konstrukcije proveden je u računalnom programu SCIA Engineer 22.1. Prikazane su dobivene rezne sile za kritične kombinacije na temelju kojih se izvršilo dimenzioniranje konstruktivnih elemenata. Sadržaj projekta: tehnički opis konstrukcije, proračun nosivih elemenata konstrukcije te planovi pozicija.The main project of a residential-commercial building in Split is presented in this master's thesis. The building is divided into two structures: A with 5 floors and B with 6 floors, which are interconnected via the garage level. Building A consists of 2 apartments per floor from the ground floor to the fourth floor while building B consists of 2 commercial spaces on the ground level and 2 apartments per floor from the first to the fifth floor. The construction is carried out using reinforced concrete in a monolithic form. The calculation of load-bearing elements was performed using the computer program SCIA Engineer 22.1. The obtained shear forces for critical load combinations were used for the design of structural elements. The project content includes a technical description of the construction, calculation of load-bearing elements, and position plans

    U diplomskom radu je prikazan proračun zgrade sa konstruktivnim sustavom od zidanih zidova koji se protežu na etažama iznad prizemlja i armiranobetonskim elementima. Proračun potresnog djelovanja je proveden linearno statičkom metodom i nelinearnom metodom postupnog guranja. Napravljen je i proračun svih konstruktivnih elemenata odnosno ploča, greda, stupova, zidova,stubišta i temelja i sukladno tome određena potrebna armatura.In the master's thesis, the calculation of a building with a structural system consisting of masonry walls extending above the ground floor and reinforced concrete elements is presented. The seismic analysis was conducted using both the linear static method and the nonlinear pushover method. Calculations were also made for all structural elements, including slabs, beams, columns, walls, staircases, and foundations, and accordingly, the required reinforcement was determined

    U ovom radu izvršen je hidraulički proračun crpne stanice za potrebe kanalizacijskog podsustava naselja Brnaze u sklopu aglomeracije Sinj. Cilj proračuna odnosi se na određivanje potrebne zapremine crpne stanice odnosno volumena usisnog bazena za dnevno izravnavanje dotoka otpadne vode. Također, proveden je hidraulički proračun gubitaka u tlačnom cjevovodu kako bi se, uz statičku visinu, odredila ukupna visina dizanja koju crpna stanica mora ostvariti za zadani protok otpadne vode.In this paper, a hydraulic calculation of the pumping station was carried out for the sewage subsystem in the village of Brnaze, as a part of Sinj Agglomeration. The goal of the calculation is to determine the required volume of the pumping station for daily inflow variations. Additionally, hydraulic calculation is performed to estimate hydraulic losses and to determine the required hydraulic head height for default wastewater discharge

Kompleks se sastoji od dva dijela, a to su veći i manji toranj s ukupno 5 katova iznad prizemlja i garažom ispod zemlje kojom su tornjevi povezani. Građevina je izvedena u armiranom betonu monolitnom izvedbom s armirano-betonskim temeljima, stupovima, zidovima te armirano betonskim pločama kao međukatnim konstrukcijama.The main design of the business and residential building (bigger tower), which is positioned on Ravnice Street in Omiš, is presented in this work.     U radu je prikazan glavni projekt nadvožnjaka preko autoceste. Sami nadvožnjak se sastoji od dva jednaka raspona (16 metara) te je polumontažne izvedbe. Stup između dva polja projektiran je kao „V“ stup. Niveleta nadvožnjaka je oko 9 metara iznad nivelete autoceste tako da ima dosta prostora za slobodan profil ispod nadvožnjaka. Projekt sadrži proračun uzdužno, poprečnog nosača i stupa, te karakteristične građevinske nacrte i tehnički opis.This paper presents the main design of the overpass above the highway. The structure is semi prefarbicated and it consists of two equal spans (16 meters). The middle pier is V-shaped. Elevation of the overpass is cca. 9 meters above highway elevation and therefore leaves enough space for traffic beneath the overpass. The work includes the calculation of the longitudinal, transversely span girders and columns, and characteristic construction plans, and a technical description of the construction

The cost estimate describes the general conditions, and stated quantities of works obtained by proof of measures and their unit and total average market value
