    Analysis of the infrastructure development of the Franjo Tuđman Airport during the concession period

    Zračne luke imaju bitnu ulogu u razvoju zračnog prometa te je njihova sposobnost pružanja sigurne, brzi i efikasne usluga prihvate i otpreme zrakoplova, putnika, tereta, robe i pošte vrlo bitna u vremenu sve veće potražnje za zračnim prometom. Iznimka nije ni Zračna luka Zagreb koja je počela bilježiti sve veći promet u posljednjim godinama te da se odgovori na zahtijeva tržišta 2017. godine na Zračnoj luci Zagreb je otvoren novi putnički terminal kako bi se udovoljilo povećanoj potražnji za zračnim prijevozom. Cilj diplomskog rada je analizirati infrastrukturni razvoj Zračne luke Franjo Tuđman kroz vrijeme trajanja koncesije s prometnog aspekta koji je definiran ugovorom o koncesiji. Analizirat će se povijesni razvoj Zračne luke Zagreb od prvog zagrebačkog aerodroma na Črnomercu do razvoja Zračne luke Franjo Tuđman koja se koristi danas. Detaljno će se obraditi razvoj prometne infrastrukture kroz teorijsku i istraživačku analizu stanja Zračne luke Zagreb prije perioda koncesije te će se također obraditi razvoj prometne infrastrukture Zračne luke Zagreb nakon preuzimanja od strane koncesionara kako bi se mogla dati usporedba stanja infrastrukture Zračne luke Zagreb prije vremena koncesije i kroz razdoblje koncesije. Također, analiza će odgovoriti na pitanje zašto je izgradnja novog putničkog terminala na Zračnoj luci Zagreb bila nužna kako bi se mogli zadovoljiti zahtjevi povećane potražnje za zračnim prometom. Zaključno će se ponuditi prijedlozi, mjere, programi i rješenja za poboljšanjem prometne infrastrukture na postojećim i budućim projektima Zračne luke Zagreb.The airport plays an important role in the development o fair transport and their ability to provide safe, fast, and efficient services for handling aircraft, passengers, cargo, goods, and mail in a time of increasing demand for air. Zagreb Airport is no exception, which has begun to record increasing traffic in recent years, and to meet market demands in 2017, a new passenger terminal was opened at Zagreb Airport to meet the increased demand for air transport. The thesis aims to analyze the infrastructural development of Zagreb International Airport during the duration of the concession from the traffic aspect defined by the concession agreement. The historical development of Zagreb Airport from the first Zagreb airport on Črnomerec to the development of Zagreb International Airport, which is used today, will be analyzed. The development of transport infrastructure through the theoretical and research analysis of the condition of Zagreb Airport before the concession period will be discussed in detail, as well as the development of transport infrastructure of Zagreb Airport after the takeover by the concessionaire in order to compare the condition of Zagreb Airport infrastructure before the concession period and through the concession period. Also, the analysis will answer the question of why the construction of a new passenger terminal at Zagreb Airport was necessary in order to meet the requirements of increased demand for air traffic. In conclusion, proposals, measures, programs, and solutions for the improvement of transport infrastructure on existing and future projects of Zagreb Airport will be offered

    Ovim radom opisana su osnovna obilježja Park and Ride sustava te njegove prednosti. Prikazana su rješenja Park and Ride sustava u Europi te detaljnije u Ljubljani i u Zagrebu. U radu je definirano područje obuhvata te je analizirano postojeće stanje na tom području, odnosno u naselju Sesvetski Kraljevec u zoni željezničkog kolodvora. Provedeno je prikupljanje podataka uz terensko istraživanje s brojanjem prometa na ključnoj lokaciji. Prikazani su i rezultati provedenog anketnog istraživanja. Na temelju provedenih istraživanja i analize navedeni su prijedlozi mjera u vidu izgradnje novog parkirališta za osobna vozila. Također su navedene mjere unapređenja sustava kao što su postavljanje prometnih znakova, opreme i oznaka na kolniku.The study describes essential characteristics of Park&Ride system and its benefits. Park&Ride system solutions in Europe and more detailed in Ljubljana and Zagreb are presented. This paper defines the area of coverage and the existing situation in Sesvetski Kraljevec, in the train station zone. In the observed area, data collection was accomplished with field research and traffic counting in characteristic locations. Based on the conducted analysis, proposals for measures were made in the form of the construction of a new car park for vehicles.     U diplomskom radu analizirano je područje gradske četvrti Gornja Dubrava u Gradu Zagrebu. Na predmetnom području analizirano je postojeće stanje cestovnog prometa i infrastrukture te organizacija i regulacija prometnih tokova. Izvršena je terenska analiza kojom se dobio uvid u postojeće stanje sigurnosti prometa, a ujedno je i izvršeno brojanje prometa kojim se dobila jasnija slika o prometnom opterećenju predmetnog područja. Temeljem dobivenih podataka predložena je uspostava nove regulacije i organizacija prometnih tokova te je izrađeno idejno prometno rješenje u svrhu povećanja sigurnost svih sudionika u prometu uz zadržavanje iste ili veće propusne moći, povećanja razina usluge te potenciranja razvoja održivog prometovanja. Prikaz idejnog prometnog rješenja izrađen je u programskom alatu AutoCAD, dok evaluacija i simulacija rješenja su izvršene u programskim alatima PTV Vissim i Sidra Intersection.The master thesis analyzes the area of Gornja Dubrava city district in the City of Zagreb. In the coverage area, the existing state of road traffic and infrastructure were analyzed as well as the organization and regulation of traffic flows. A field survey was conducted to give an insight into the current state of traffic safety and at the same time a traffic count was made to give a clearer picture of the traffic volumes of the subject area. Based on the obtained data, the new regulation and organization of traffic flows was proposed as well as conceptual traffic solution, in order to increase the safety for road users while maintaining the same or increasing road capacity, increase the level of service and emphasize the development of sustainable transport. The presentation of the conceptual transport solution was made in the software tool AutoCAD, while the evaluation and simulation of the solution was made in the software tools PTV Vissim and Sidra Intersection

    U radu je provedena analiza postojećeg stanja prometne povezanosti naselja Sesvetska Sopnica i Retkovec u gradu Zagrebu s ciljem utvrđivanja osnovnih nedostataka. Sukladno rezultatima analize postojećeg stanja prometnog sustava, prostorno-planskoj dokumentaciji te prognoziranim trendovima prijevozne potražnje predložena su idejna prometna rješenja s ciljem povećanja razine uslužnosti i mobilnosti zone obuhvata kao i sigurnosti samih sudionika u prometu. Također s obzirom na to da je područje obuhvata u intenzivnoj izgradnji predložena su rješenja za pješačku i biciklističku mrežu te mrežu javnog gradskog prijevoza.The paper analyzes the current state of traffic connections between the settlements of Sesvetska Sopnica and Retkovec in the city of Zagreb with the aim of determining the basic shortcomings. In accordance with the results of the analysis of the current situation of the traffic system, spatial planning documentation and forecasted trends in transport demand, conceptual transport solutions have been proposed with the aim of increasing the level of serviceability and mobility of the coverage area as well as the safety of traffic participants. Also, given that the coverage area is under construction, solutions for the pedestrian and bicycle network and the public transport network have been proposed

    Vremenski uvjeti su nesumnjivo jedan od glavnih razloga zbog kojih nastaju prometne nezgode. Uvjeti vidljivosti u prometu na cestama su ključni za procjenu i donošenje kvalitetne odluke kod vozača motornih vozila. U uvjetima smanjene vidljivosti, zadovoljavajuća snaga retrorefleksije doprinosi pravovremenom uočavanju prometnih znakova te njihovom tumačenju i razumijevanju. Nažalost, ne postoje rješenja koja će potpuno spriječiti pojavu prometnih nezgoda, no postoje načini kako povećati sigurnost prometa u lošim vremenskim uvjetima. Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi kako vremenski uvjeti utječu na sigurnost prometa te na koje načine je moguće povećati sigurnost prometa.Weather conditions are undoubtedly one of the main reasons why traffic accidents occur. Visibility conditions in road traffic are key to assessing and making a quality decision for drivers. In conditions of reduced visibility, the satisfactory power of retroreflection contributes to the timely observation of traffic signs and their interpretation and understanding. Unfortunately, there are no solutions that will completely prevent the occurrence of traffic accidents, but there are ways to increase traffic safety in bad weather. The aim of this paper is to determine how weather conditions affect traffic safety and in what ways it is possible to increase traffic safety

    Razvitkom prometa dolazi do poboljšanja gospodarskog sustava određene države te dolazi i do porasta životnog standarda. Međutim, suvremeni promet sve više narušava okoliš i prirodu, a posebice u tom segmentu prednjači cestovni promet. Emisije ispušnih plinova onečišćuju zrak, a daljnjim razvojem prometa dolazi i do onečišćenja tla i voda, ali i narušavanja kvalitete života ljudi jer se pojavljuje i neizbježna buka i vibracije. Osim toga, razvitkom prometnica koje su bitne za cestovni promet dolazi i do narušavanja okoliša pa se stoga sve više pribjegava mjerama za očuvanjem okoliša. Stoga Europska unija, samim time i Republika Hrvatska, razvija zakone, propise i strategije za smanjene emisija ispušnih plinova te implementacije raznih mjera kojima bi se očuvao okoliš te zaštitila flora i fauna. Razvoj gospodarstva stoga treba biti u korelaciji sa zelenim politikama.With the development of transport, the economic system of a certain country improves and the standard of living rises. However, modern traffic is increasingly disrupting the environment and nature, and especially in this segment, road traffic is in the lead. exhaust gases polute the air and with the further development of traffic ther is pollution of soil and wate, but also the deterioration of people's quality of life, as the inevitable noise pollution also occurs. Furthermore, the development of roads that are important for traffic leads to environmental damage, and therefore there are needs for environmental protection. Therefore, the European Union, and thus the Republic of Croatia, is developing laws, regulations and strategies for reducing exhaust emissions and implementing various measures to preserve the environment and protect flora and fauna. Economic development should therefore be correlated with green policies

    U završnom radu opisane su karakteristike koje su osnovni elementi za izradbu funkcionalnog biciklističkog prometa i definirano je područje prometovanja biciklista u gradu Zagrebu. Analizirano je postojeće stanje biciklističkog prometa u gradovima Europske unije koje prikazuju organiziran i proveden biciklistički promet u urbanim sredinama. Provedena je analiza razvoja biciklističkog prometa na području Grada Zagreba. Razvoj biciklističkog prometa je nužan zbog ekoloških, ekonomskih i zdravstvenih beneficija. Na temelju provedenih analiza i istraživanja predložena su određene potencijalne mjere za unaprjeđenje biciklističke infrastrukture i biciklističkog prometa u Gradu Zagrebu.The final paper describes characteristics that are the basic elements for the construction of functional cycling traffic and defines the area of cycling traffic in the City of Zagreb. The existing state of bicycle traffic in the cities of the European Union, showing how biking traffic in urban areas should be organized and implemented, was analysed. Analysis of the development of bicycle traffic on the territory of the City of Zagreb is analysed. The development of cycling traffic is necessary because of ecological, economic, and health benefits. Based on the conducted analyses and research, some of the potential solutions for improving the bicycle infrastructure and bicycle traffic in the City of Zagreb have been proposed

    Transportno osiguranje je grana osiguranja u okviru koje se osiguravaju imovinski interesi izloženi prijevoznim i drugim transportnim rizicima. Ono je bitan faktor u svim poslovnim djelatnostima, a posebice u logističkim procesima prijevoza i osiguranja robe jer efikasno razrađena prijevozna logistika kvalificira tvrtke na konkurentno tržište te pruža učinkovitu logističku uslugu. Prilikom svake razmjene tereta važno je ugovoriti određeno osiguranje kako bi roba bila isporučena kupcu onakva kakvu je prijevoznik preuzeo od prodavatelja. Ukoliko dođe do štete, ugovaratelj osiguranja podnosi odštetni zahtjev, a osiguravajuće društvo pokreće proces likvidacije štete.Transport insurance is a branch of insurance in which interests of goods exposed to transport risks are insured. It is an important factor in all business activities, especially in the logistics processes of transport and insurance of goods, because efficiently developed transport logistics qualifies companies to a competitive market and provides an efficient logistics service. During each exchange of cargo, it's important to arrange certain insurance so that products are delivered to the buyer as the carrier has taken over from the seller. If damage occurs, the policyholder submits a claim for damages, and the insurance company initiates the process of liquidation of the damage

    Alternativni pogonski sustavi su sustavi koji za pogon ne koriste isključivo fosilna goriva. Razvoj alternativnih pogonskih sustava je ključan faktor ka ispunjenju cilja zračnog prometa, smanjenje štetnih emisija. Alternativni pogonski sustavi kao ideja postoje duži niz godina dok je značajniji napredak u razvoju tehnologija zabilježen posljednje desetljeće. Alternativni pogonski sustavi se još uvijek razvijaju i nemaju masovnu primjenu i proizvodnju. Šira implementacija se očekuje kroz idućih 10-15 godina. U diplomskom radu napravit će se osvrt na dosadašnji razvoj alternativnih pogonskih sustava, njihov princip rada i utjecaj na zračni promet, te daljnji napredak i predviđanja.Alternative propulsion systems are systems that do not use only fossil fuels for propulsion. The development of alternative propulsion systems is a key factor towards meeting the goal of air transport, reducing emissions. Alternative propulsion systems as an idea have existed for many years while significant progress in technology development has been noticed in the last decade. Alternative propulsion systems are still being developed and do not have mass application and production. Wider implementation is expected over the next 10-15 years. In this final thesis, a review will be made of the current development of alternative propulsion systems, their working tenet and impact on air traffic, as well as further progress and predictions

    Conceptual Solution of a New Regulation and Organization of Traffic Flows at the Intersections of Voltino Settlement in Zagreb

    Cestovna raskrižja su točke u cestovnoj mreži na kojima se povezivanjem dvije ili više cesta križaju, spajaju ili razdvajaju prometni tokovi. Ovaj rad analizira dva nesemaforizirana cestovna raskrižja, Tomislavova ulica – Ulica Dragutina Golika i Ulica Dragutina Golika – Klanječka ulica. Radi se o trokrakim („T“) raskrižjima koja su upravljana horizontalnom i vertikalnom signalizacijom. Na predmetnim raskrižjima uočeni su neki od sljedećih problema: sigurnost sudionika zbog loše preglednosti, velike brzine, mogućnost naleta vozila na vozilo koje se kreće unutar raskrižja, neodržavanje zelenog raslinja, teško skretanje lijevih skretača te uključivanje vozila sa sporednih smjerova. Na tragu ovih osnovnih zapažanja, u radu je napravljena detaljna analiza postojećeg stanja na predmetnim raskrižjima. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata, predložena su nova projektna rješenja. Također, izrađena je i evaluacija raskrižja u programskom alatu Sidra Intersection koji pokazuje promjene na raskrižju u odnosu na prethodno stanje.Road intersections are points in the road network where by connecting two or more roads, traffic flows intersect, connect or separate. This paper analyzes two non-traffic light road intersections, Tomislavova Street - Dragutina Golika Street and Dragutina Golika Street - Klanječka Street. These are three-way ("T") intersections that are controlled by horizontal and vertical signalization. At the intersections in question, some of the following problems were noticed: safety of participants due to poor visibility, high speed, the possibility of a vehicle crashing into a vehicle moving inside the intersection, failure to maintain green vegetation, difficult left turns and turning vehicles from side directions. Following these basic observations, a detailed analysis of the current situation at the intersections in question was made in this paper. Based on the obtained results, new project solutions were proposed. Also, an evaluation of the intersection was made in the software tool Sidra Intersection, which shows the changes at the intersection compared to the previous situation
