Effect of distraction on driver's visual perception in road traffic
Distrakcija je skretanje pozornost i pažnje vozača tijekom vožnje, uzrokovane nekim događajem, objektom, uređajem, radnjom ili osobom koja se nalazi unutar ili izvan vozila, što može ugroziti sigurnost prometa te rezultira nedovoljnom pažnjom vozača. Distrakcije utječu na vozača tako da poremete percepciju vozača, te ometaju proces aktivnog prikupljanja, organiziranja i interpretiranja primljenih informacija iz prometa. S obzirom na to da u cestovnom prometu preko 90 % čovjek zaprima vidom, jasno je da je vizualna percepcija ključna za pravovremeno reagiranje na različite pojave i događaje u okolini, a time i za cjelokupnu sigurnost odvijanje prometa. Vizualna percepcija je proces kojim mozak procesuira ono što vidimo, odnosno način na koji mozak interpretira, analizira i daje smisao onome što vidimo. Cilj rada je prikazati i analizirati koje su to distrakcije i kako utječu na vizualnu percepciju vozača tijekom vožnje. Svrha rada je analizirati najbitnije distrakcije na vizualnu percepciju i utvrditi njihov utjecaj na ponašanje vozača, a time i cjelokupnu sigurnost cestovnog prometa.Distraction is the diversion of the driver's attention and awareness while driving, caused by some event, object, device, action or person located inside or outside the vehicle, which can endanger traffic safety and result in insufficient driver attention. Distractions affect the driver by disrupting the driver's perception and hindering the process of actively collecting, organizing and interpreting received traffic information. Given that over 90% of road traffic is perceived by a person's sight, it is clear that visual perception is essential for timely reaction to various phenomena and events in the environment, and thus for the overall safety of traffic. Visual perception is the process by which the brain processes what we see, that is, the way the brain interprets, analyzes and gives meaning to what we see. The aim of the work is to show and analyze what distractions are and how they affect the driver's visual perception while driving. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the most important distractions on visual perception and determine their impact on driver behavior, and thus overall road safety
Analysis of speed limit compliance on the state road DC7
Vožnja brzinom većom od one dopuštene zakonskim propisima ili postavljene prometnim znakom kao i vožnja brzinom neprilagođenom uvjetima na cesti jedni su od glavnih uzroka nastanka prometnih nesreća. Na sigurnost prometa na cestama osim vozača, vozila i cestovne infrastrukture, neposredan utjecaj imaju i stručnjaci zaduženi za određivanje uvjeta na određenim dijelovima ceste. Neusklađenost ograničenja brzine nastaje zbog nedovoljno pažnje usmjerene na karakteristike ceste, prometne znakove i ograničenja brzine u suprotnom smjeru pružanja ceste. Cilj ovoga rada je analizirati usklađenosti ograničenja brzine na državnoj cesti DC7, utvrditi usklađenost za oba smjera vožnje, odrediti kritične lokacije i dati prijedlog unapređenja kako i se povećala sigurnost prometa na predmetnoj cesti. Za analizu podataka i određivanje kritičnih lokacija korišteni su programski alat QGIS i Baza cestovnih podataka Hrvatskih cesta d.o.o.. Neusklađenosti ograničenja brzine u ovome radu podijeljene su na blagu, nisku, srednju i visoku neusklađenost. Analizom je utvrđeno da najmanje lokacija, njih 3,89 % ima blagu neusklađenost, dok najviše lokacija, njih 47,85 % ima nisku neusklađenost. Srednja neusklađenost utvrđena je na 30,33 % lokacija, dok je na 17,93 % lokacija utvrđena visoka neusklađenost.Driving above speed limit indicated on a road sign or by legal regulations, as well as driving speed unadjusted to specific circumstances are the most common causes of road crashes. Road safety is impacted not only by the driver, vehicle and/or road infrastructure, but also by the traffic experts who are in charge of assessing the road conditions and driver's obligations. Unadjusted speed of vehicles is caused by the lack of attention on the characteristics of the road, road signs, and posted speed limit for the vehicles in the opposite way. The aim of this master thesis is to analyze the speed limits on state road DC7, to determine their compatibility for both road directions, establish critical locations, and suggest enhancements to increase overall road safety on aforementioned road. To analyze data and determine critical locations, QGIS (Quantum Geographic Information System) and Base of the road traffic data of Croatian Road Ltd., are used. In this thesis, the unadjusted posted speed limit is divided into mild, low, medium and high. By the analysis it is determined that locations with mild unadjustment account for the lowest percentage (3.89%), while locations with low unadjustment account for the highest percentage (47.85%). Medium unadjustments are detected on 30.33% of the locations, while 17.93% locations have high unadjustments
Infrastructural Requirements for the Implementation of Hydrogen as Alternative Fuel at Airports
Klimatske promjene predstavljaju problem na globalnoj razini te je zaštita okoliša i smanjenje emisija štetnih plinova u svijetu sve važnija. Promet kao jedan najvećih generatora štetnih emisija, od čega 2 % generira zrakoplovstvo, započeo je primjenu novih, čistih izvora energije. Kao jedna od novih tehnologija koja je započela svoju primjenu već u automobilskoj i svemirskoj industriji je vodik. Vodik ne ispušta štetne emisije te je budućnost dekarbonizacije komercijalnog zrakoplovstva. Njegova primjena u komercijalnom zrakoplovstvu je nova, stoga je potrebno provesti istraživanja i analize načina dopreme vodika do zračne luke. U ovom će diplomskom radu biti analizirani i detaljno opisani infrastrukturni i tehnološki zahtjevi za prihvat i otpremu zrakoplova na vodik. Nadalje, biti će opisane strategije na svjetskoj, europskoj i nacionalnoj razini te navedene zračne luke koje su već započele proces implementacije vodika.Climate change is global problem, and environmental protection and the reduction of greenhouse gases in the world are more and more important. Transport, as one of the largest generators of harmful emissions, of which 2% is generated by aviation, has started the application of new, clean energy sources. Hydrogen is one of the new technologies that has already started to be used in the automotive and space industries. Hydrogen does not emit harmful emissions and is the future of decarbonization of commercial aviation. Its use in commercial aviation is new, so it is necessary to carry out research and analysis of the way to deliver hydrogen to the airport. In this thesis, the infrastructural and technological requirements for ground-handling hydrogen-powered aircraft will be analysed and described in detail. Furthermore, strategical documents at the world, European and national level will be described, as well as the airports that have already started the hydrogen implementation process
Calculation of Longitudinal Static Stability and Controllability for Cessna 172 Aircraft
U ovom radu napravljen je eksperiment ispitivanja uzdužne statičke stabilnosti zrakoplova generalne, odnosno opće avijacije Cessna 172, pomoću ispitivanja zrakoplova u samom letu, te izračuna pomoću formula opisanih u radu. Cilj rada je opisati stabilnost i upravljivost zrakoplova općenito, te podatke i rezultate dobivene izvođenjem eksperimenta ispitivanja uzdužne statičke stabilnosti na zrakoplovu, usporediti s rezultatima dobivenim izračunom. Na kraju rada izloženi su rezultati i zaključci provedenih eksperimenata i izračuna.In this paper, an experiment was made to test the longitudinal static stability of the Cessna 172 general aviation aircraft, by testing the aircraft in flight, and calculating it using the formulas described in the paper. The aim of the work is to describe the stability and maneuverability of the aircraft in general, and to compare the data and results obtained by performing the longitudinal static stability test experiment on the aircraft, with the results obtained by calculation. At the end of the paper, the results and conclusions of the conducted experiments and calculations are presented
Great Circle Navigation Calculations
U ovome završnom radu obrađena je tema navigacijski izračun leta po ortodromi. Prikazani su proračuni koji se provode prilikom leta po ortodromi te ukoliko dođe do pogrešaka kako ih izračunati te odrediti gdje se zrakoplov nalazi. Opće je poznato da je svrha navigacije let od jednog do drugog mjesta (točke), određenom rutom, određenim vremenom te na određenoj visini. Kroz rad objašnjena je povijest navigacije, kako se navigacija dijeli te koji je zajednički dio vizualnoj i instrumentalnoj navigaciji. Pojašnjeni su koordinatni sustavi koji sve postoje i od čega se sastoje, dotaknuli smo se i kartografskih projekcija i koja je najbolja kod prikaza ortodrome na karti. Objašnjene su jednadžbe pomoću kojih se određuje ortodromska udaljenost, početni ortodromski kurs, koordinate vrha ortodrome, međutočke te pogreške koje nastaju tijekom leta po ortodromi. Korištenje obrađenih jednadžbi obrađeno je u programu Matlab na odabranoj navigacijskoj ruti.The subject of this thesis is the great circle navigation. Calculations made during the great circle flight, possible cross track errors, and the method of calculation of the aircraft's position are shown. It is well known that the purpose of navigation is a flight from point to point on a specified course, in a set time, and at a certain altitude. The history of navigation, the division of navigation, and what do visual and instrumental navigation have in common is explained. Coordinate systems that exist and what they consist of are explained. It is also touched upon on the map projections and which one is best when displaying the great circle on the map. The equations used to determine the great circle distance, the initial bearing, the coordinates of the top of the great circle, midpoints and cross track errors which occur during the flight on the great circle are explained. The use of processed equations was processed in the Matlab program on the selected navigation route
Kvaliteta usluge u mobilnim mrežama pete generacije
Tema završnog rada je kvaliteta usluge u mobilnim mrežama pete generacije. Detaljno je definirana kvalitete usluge te su prikazani njeni parametri. Predstavljeni su i načini mjerenja kvalitete usluge i iskustvene kvalitete. Nadalje, ovaj rad nudi opis značajki mobilne mreže pete generacije te ponude usluga spomenute mreže. Prikazani su i odnosi QoS-a (Quality of service) i iskustvena kvaliteta usluge QoE-a (Quality of Experience) u mobilnoj mreži pete generacije. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati kvalitetu usluge, opisati što ona znači, kako se mjeri, uz to i upoznati se sa mobilnom mrežom pete generacije.The topic of the final paper is the quality of service in fifth generation mobile networks. The quality of the service is defined in detail and its parameters are presented. Ways of measuring service quality and Quality of Experience are presented as well. Furthermore, this paper offers a description of the features of the fifth generation mobile network and the offer of services of the mentioned network. The relationships between QoS (quality of service) and QoE (experiential quality of service) in the fifth generation mobile network are also presented. The aim of this paper is to show the quality of service, describe what it means, how it is measured, and to get acquainted with the fifth generation mobile network
Proposals for improvements of existing parking and pedestrian zones in the city of Zagreb, based on the results of the comparative analysis of urban network solutions in selected cities over the world
S globalnim trendom urbanizacije te porastom stanovnika u gradovima, dolazi i do porasta stupnja motorizacije, pri čemu dolazi do pojave učestalijih zagušenja prometa u gradskoj cestovnoj mreži te do pogoršanja sveukupne kvalitete života u urbanoj sredini. Gradovi su se prestali prilagođavati automobilma te se fokus prometno-urbanističkog planiranja usmjerio na nemotorizirane oblike prometa. U diplomskog radu će se na temelju komparativne analize parkirališnih i pješačkih zona u gradu Zagrebu s prometno-urbanističkim rješenjima u odabranim gradovima diljem svijetu, dati prijedlozi poboljšanja parkirališnih i pješačkih zona na području grada Zagrebu. Pametnim upravljanjem prometa u mirovanju te stvaranjem pješačkih zona u starim jezgrama gradova, može se znatno povećati mobilnost i kvaliteta života u gradovima.The global trend of urbanization, faster urban population growth and rapid increase of the motorization rate are causing more frequent and severe traffic congestions on urban road networks, wherby the overall quality of life in urban areas is deteriorating. In order to cope with this problems, Cities have stopped adapting their traffic management strategies to cars and are now primarily focused on non motorised road users. Based on the comparative analysis between parking and pedestrian zones present in the city of Zagreb and selected cities in the world, this thesis will provide suggestions for improving parking and pedestrian zones in the city of Zagreb. Smart management of stationary traffic, combined withthe creation of pedestrian zones in old city centers can significantly increase mobility and quality of life in the cities
The Importance of Mobile Business for the Purpose of Cryptocurrency Trading
Tema ovog rada je „Značaj mobilnog poslovanja u svrhu trgovanja kriptovaluta“. U prvom djelu rada govorimo o arhitekturi i tehnologiji mobilnog poslovanja, zatim se u nastavku baziramo na kriptovalutama, njihovoj ulozi te mogućnostima koje nude mobilni uređaji u svrhu rada s kriptovalutama. U većinskom dijelu rada fokusiramo se na Bitcoinu, jer je najveća i ujedno najlakša kriptovaluta. U radu su obrađene kriptovalute od nastanka te se spominje vrijednost kriptovaluta. Na kraju je obrađen način prikupljanja, čuvanja te trgovanja kriptovalutama putem mobilnog uređaja na temelju čega je i donesen zaključak.The topic of this paper is "The importance of mobile business for the purpose of cryptocurrency trading". In the first part of the paper we talk about the architecture and technology of mobile business, then we are based on cryptocurrencies, their role and the opportunities offered by mobile devices for the purpose of working with cryptocurrencies. For the most part, we are based on Bitcoin, because it is the largest and easiest cryptocurrency. The paper deals with cryptocurrencies from the beginning, the value of cryptocurrencies is mentioned. Finally, the method of collecting, storing and trading cryptocurrencies via a mobile device is discussed, on the basis of which I draw my conclusion
Application Analysis of TM Forum Frameworks in Network Operator Processes
Tema završnog rada je analiza primjene radnih okvira TM Foruma u procesima mrežnog operatora kao i opis smjernica razvoja TM Foruma. U završnom radu bit će pojašnjeni pojmovi sustava kao i njihova tematika te obrada informacija i informacijskih sustava kroz modele razvoja. Izgradnja funkcionalnih i učinkovitih informacijskih sustava je neobično važna u telekomunikacijama te će u ovom radu biti obrađeni modeli koje pruža TM Forum. Tematski ovaj rad bavit će se opisivanjem međunarodnih okvira i programa mrežnog operatora kao i procesima TM Foruma. Cilj ovog rada je prikaz rada TM Foruma kao i primjena TM Foruma te njegova analiza.The main topic of this paper is application analysis of TM Forum Frameworks in network operator processes as well as description of TM Forum growth. In addition to explaining the concepts of the system, information and information systems and models of their development are thematically processed. Since there are reference models in telekomunications which are necessary for building functional and effective information systems in my final work are processed and they are allowed by TM Forum. Analysis of the Bus Line 290 Kvaternikov Trg - Velika Gorica
Osnovno obilježje javnog gradskog prijevoza je da ga pod određenim uvjetima može koristiti svaki građanin. Brz, udoban, točan i siguran javni gradski prijevoz važan je za normalno odvijanje prometa i života unutar gradova i naselja. Problemi koji se očituju su zagušenost, pokretljivost i vanjski utjecaji. Ovaj završni rad temelji se na analizi autobusne linije 290 Kvaternikov trg – Velika Gorica te njezinim statičkim i dinamičkim elementima. Cilj rada je utvrditi iskorištenost ponuđenog kapaciteta linije temeljem podataka o vremenima i izmjeni putnika na liniji, dati uvid u stanje brzina i vremena u prijevoznom procesu pomoću formula, grafikona i tablica, te dati prijedlog za poboljšanje učinkovitosti autobusne linije.The basic feature of public transport is that it can be used by any citizen under certain conditions. Fast, comfortable, punctual, and safe public transport is important for the normal traffic flow and life within cities and settlements. The problems related to traffic that occur are congestion, mobility, and other external factors. This undergraduate thesis presents the analysis of the bus line 290 Kvaternikov trg – Velika Gorica and its static and dynamic elements. The goal of this thesis is to determine the utilization of the offered capacity of the line based on passenger and time data, to give an insight into speeds and travel times in transport process using formulas, graphs and tables, and to propose solutions for improving the efficiency of the bus line
