    Multi-Criteria Analysis of Traffic Solutions to Increase Pedestrian Safety and Mobility in Zagreb Vrapče Pedestrian and Railway Flow Intersection Zones

    Sigurnost i urbana mobilnost su bitni čimbenici prometnog sustava. U gradovima postoje uska prometna područja na kojima dolazi do presijecanja više vrsta prometnih tokova. Zone križanja pješačkih i željezničkih tokova zahtijevaju adekvatnu infrastrukturu i opremu kako bi omogućili zadovoljavajuću razinu sigurnosti bez ometanja prometnih tokova. Željezničko-cestovni prijelaz (ŽCP) mjesto je križanja željezničke pruge ili industrijskoga kolosijeka i ceste u istoj razini u sklopu kojeg u praksi postoji i pješački prijelaz ukoliko postoji promet pješaka. Zbog nedovoljno razvijene infrastrukture, loših prometnih rješenja ili lošeg stanja postojeće infrastrukture pješaci koriste improvizirane ilegalne prijelaze. Ovaj rad bavi se problematikom ilegalnih prijelaza preko pruge u zonama pješačkih i željezničkih križanja prometnih tokova u zagrebačkom naselju Vrapče. Promatrane lokacije sadrže infrastrukturu za siguran prijelaz preko pruge, ali iz nekoliko razloga većina pješaka ne koristi te prijelaze nego ilegalno prelaze preko pruge. Istraživanje u ovom radu obuhvatilo je detaljne analize postojeće prometne infrastrukture, postojećeg stanja sigurnosti i analizu prometnih tokova. Na temelju provedene analize predložena su nova prometna rješenja u svrhu uklanjanja postojeće problematike te povećanja razine sigurnosti i mobilnosti u promatranim zonama. Provedena je višekriterijska analiza primjenom metode Analitičkog hijerarhijskog procesa korištenjem programskog alata „Expert Choice“ kako bi se izabralo optimalno rješenje predloženih varijanata novih prometnih rješenja. Na kraju je izrađena analiza osjetljivosti i odabrano optimalno prometno rješenje.Safety and urban mobility are essential factors of the transport system. In every city there are narrow traffic areas where several types of traffic flows intersect. Pedestrian and railway crossing zones require adequate infrastructure and equipment to provide a satisfactory level of safety without disrupting traffic flows. Level crossing (LC) is a place of intersection of a railway or an industrial track and a road at the same level within a pedestrian crossing if there is pedestrian traffic. Due to insufficiently developed infrastructure, poor traffic solutions or poor condition of the existing infrastructure, pedestrians use improvised illegal crossings. This paper deals with the issue of illegal pedestrian crossings over the railway in Zagreb Vrapče pedestrian and railway flow intersection zones. The observed locations contain infrastructure for safe crossing over the railway, but for several reasons most pedestrians do not use these crossings but cross the railway illegally. The research in this paper included detailed analyzes of the existing traffic infrastructure, the current state of safety and the analysis of traffic flows. Based on the conducted analysis, new transport solutions were proposed in order to eliminate the existing problems and increase the level of safety and mobility in the observed zones. A multi-criteria analysis was performed using Analytic Hierarchy Process using the software tool "Expert Choice" in order to select the optimal solution of the proposed alternatives of new solutions. Finally, a sensitivity analysis was performed and the optimal traffic solution was selected

    Cilj je izrade diplomskog rada prikazati metode vrednovanja AHP i TOPSIS u svrhu planiranja i odluke između lokalne poslužiteljske infrastrukture i korištenja rješenja u oblaku. Usporedna analiza obavit će se na dostupnim rješenjima koja se nude na tržištu, te na onim rješenjima koje velike kompanije najčešće koriste za svoje poslovanje u vidu informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija. Prikazat će se primjeri korištenja lokalne infrastrukture, infrastrukture u oblaku te primjer korištenja hibridnog rješenja.The purpose and goal of this thesis is to show methods of evaluation of AHP and TOPSIS for the purpose of planning and making decision between the local server infrastructure and Cloud computing. Comparative analysis will be performed on the solutions which exists on the market and on those solutions that large companies often uses for business in the form of information and communication technologies. Examples of using local server infrastructure, cloud computing and hybrid solutions will be presented

    Korištenje vanjskog davatelja prijevozne usluge je način na koji se tvrtke odlučuju povjeriti dio svojih aktivnosti na vanjske davatelje te usluge i na taj način posvetiti se svojoj primarnoj aktivnosti s kojom žele biti konkurentniji na tržištu. U radu je promatran outsourcing usluge cestovnog prijevoza na primjeru tvrtke Kuehne+Nagel. Temelj ovog rada je na metodama višekriterijske analize koje se koriste pri analizi vrednovanja vanjskih davatelja prijevozne usluge koji su u ovom slučaju cestovni prijevoznici. Za izradu višekriterijske metode korišten je programski alat SpiceLogic koji nudi mogućnosti vrednovanja kriterija i uspoređivanje alternativa prema postavljenim prioritetima. Analizirani su prijevoznici koji djeluju na području pet europskih država. Primjenom višekriterijske analize napravljeno je rangiranje prijevoznika unutar promatranih država i predstavljen prijedlog unaprjeđenja odabira vanjskog davatelja prijevozne usluge.The global trend of using outsourced carriers is companies decision to entrust part of their activities to external providers of selected services and to devote themselves to their priority bussines with which they want to be more competitive on the market. Specifically, the graduation thesis will look at the outsourcing of road transport services on the example of Kuehne+Nagel company. The basis of this work is on the methods of multi-criteria analysis that are used in the analysis of the evaluation of outsourced transport service providers, which in this case are road carriers. The SpiceLogic software tool was used to create the multi-criteria method, which offers options for evaluating criteria and comparing alternatives according to set priorities. Carriers operating in the territory of five European countries were analysed. By applying a multi-criteria analysis, a ranking of carriers within the observed countries was made and a proposal for improving the selection of an outsourced provider of transport services was presented

    Uzlijetanje i slijetanje dvije su kritične faze operacija zrakoplova i zaslužuju mnogo brige oko postupanja u istima. Zato se vodi računa o svakom segmentu, a jedan od bitnijih je uzletno-sletna staza i njena površina. Sama površina može stvoriti promijenjene uvjete i nelagodu kako performansama zrakoplova tako i putnicima i pilotu zbog svojih svojstava. Zbog toga su doneseni razni propisi. Cilj propisanih zahtjeva je da u datim uvjetima uz pomoć dostupnih izračuna to jest izračuna potrebnih udaljenosti za pojedine radnje odredi je li sigurno poletjeti ili sletjeti na takvoj podlozi. Kako nemaju svi meteorološki produkti ista svojstva tako ni iste podloge nemaju ista svojstva što može činiti razliku u potrebnim udaljenostima za istu vrstu zrakoplova na različitim podlogama, odnosno u uvjetima travnate i asfaltirane površine uzletno-sletne staze.Taking off and landing are two critical phases of aircraft operations and they deserve more care about themselves. That is why more things are taken into account and one of the most important ones is runway and its surface. Runway surface can make a flight unpleasant to pilot, passengers and change some performances of aircraft. That is the one of reasons why many of regulations are there. Purpose of regulations is that in given conditions with help of known distances, pilot makes a calculation about aircraft`s required distances and decides wheter it is safe or not to take off or land on that runway. Just like all meteorological products have different performances so do the runways surfaces, what can lead to difference in required distances for the same type of aircraft on two different surfaces, such as grass and paved ones

    U ovom završnom radu prikazana je kinematska shema, opisan rad, konstrukcija te proračuni performansa turbovratilnog motora General Electric T700 kakav se ugrađuje na helikopter američke proizvodnje Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk. Prikazan je termodinamički proračun i idealni ciklus rada. Također su određene performanse u tri režima rada. Za bolje razumijevanje određenih komponenti motora ubačene su skice te sheme određenih sustava.The aim of this thesis is to present kinematic scheme, describe operation, construction and to calculate performance of General Electric T700 turboshaft engine which is powerplant for american Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. This thesis covers thermodynamic equations, calculations and the ideal thermodynamic cycle. Three main performance regimes od the turboshaft motor will also be defined. For better understanding of certain components there are sketches and schemes of certain systems

    Model of Quality Assessment of Transport Service in Public Road Intercity Line Passenger Traffic

    Postizanje odgovarajuće razine kvalitete prijevozne usluge bitna je pretpostavka u pružanju prijevoznih usluga. Mjerenje zadovoljstva putnika smatra se najdjelotvornijim povratnim informacijama, uzimajući u obzir da ono pruža učinkovite, izravne, smislene i objektivne korisničke želje i očekivanja. Stoga, vrjednovanje kvalitete prijevozne usluge mjerenjem zadovoljstva putnika jedno je od najvažnijih pitanja koje se odnosi na poslovne odluke poduzeća za cestovni prijevoz putnika, što je opravdano filozofijom orijentacije prema klijentu i glavnim principima stalnog poboljšanja modernog poduzeća. Zapravo, mjerenje zadovoljstva putnika predstavlja jednu od pet glavnih funkcija znanosti upravljanja koje omogućuje razumijevanje, analizu i poboljšanje. Na taj način, zadovoljstvo putnika temeljni je standard izvedbe i mogući standard izvrsnosti za bilo koje poduzeće za cestovni prijevoz putnika. U ovom doktorskom radu razvijen je hibridni model za vrjednovanje kvalitete prijevozne usluge u cestovnom međugradskom linijskom putničkom prometu metodom mjerenja zadovoljstva putnika. Model VAZP (višekriterijska analiza zadovoljstva putnika) koristi analitičko-hijerarhijski proces (AHP) temeljen na dezagregatnom pristupu i linearnom programiranju. Glavna prednost VAZP pristupa je u tome što poštuje kvalitativni oblik ocjenjivanja i preferencije putnika koje se izražavaju u zadovoljstvu putnika. Istraživanje se temelji na podatcima koji su dobiveni anketnim ispitivanjem zadovoljstva putnika kvalitetom prijevozne usluge u cestovnom međugradskom linijskom putničkom prometu. Rezultati istraživanja opisani su pomoću numeričkih vrijednosti te su grafički prikazani primjenom deskriptivne statističke analize. Primjenom programskog alata Expert Choice i analize osjetljivosti utvrđuju se razlike između dostignute razine kvalitete prijevozne usluge pojedinih cestovnih prijevoznika te predlažu moguća poboljšanja u poslovanju za stjecanje konkurentske prednosti na tržištu prijevozničkih usluga. Ova sposobnost kvalitativnog predstavljanja prosudbi putnika i preferencija čini VAZP prikladnim alatom za procjenu kvalitete zadovoljstva putnika i ocjenu kvalitete usluga u sektoru prijevoza putnika te strateško pozicioniranje i stjecanje konkurentske prednosti na tržištu prijevozničkih usluga.Achieving the appropriate level of quality of transport service is an essential prerequisite for the provision of transport services. Measuring passenger satisfaction is considered the most effective feedback, given that it provides effective, direct, meaningful and objective customer wishes and expectations. Therefore, assessing the quality of the transport service by measuring passenger satisfaction is one of the most important issues pertaining to the business decisions of the companies for road transportation, which is justified by the philosophy of customer orientation and the main principles of continuous improvement of the modern enterprise. In fact, measuring passenger satisfaction is one of the five major functions of management science that enables understanding, analysis and improvement. In this way, passenger satisfaction is a fundamental standard of performance and a possible standard of excellence for any company for road transportation. In this doctoral thesis has been developed a hybrid model for assessment the quality of transport service in road intercity line passenger transport by the method of measuring passenger satisfaction. The model VAZP (multi-criteria passenger satisfaction analysis) uses a analytical hierarchical process (AHP), based on a disaggregated approach and linear programming modeling. The main advantage of the VAZP approach is that it respects the qualitative form of rating and passenger preferences expressed in passenger satisfaction. The research is based on data obtained from a survey of passenger satisfaction with the quality of transport service in road intercity line passenger traffic. The results of the research are described using numerical values and are graphically represented using descriptive statistical analysis. Using the Expert Choice software tool and sensitivity analysis, the differences between the achieved quality level of the transport service of individual road carriers are analyzed and determined, and the possible improvements in the business are proposed to gain competitive advantage in the transport services market. This ability to qualitatively represent passenger's judgments and preferences makes model VAZP a suitable tool for assessing the quality of passenger satisfaction and evaluating the quality of services in the passenger transportation sector, as well as strategically positioning and gaining a competitive edge in the transportation services market

    Similarities and differences of operations and maintenance of three versions of the Bell 206B JetRanger III helicopter

    U Hrvatskom ratnom zrakoplovstvu koristi se helikopter Bell 206B u provedbi praktične obuke studenata–vojnih pilota, za zadaće izviđanja, prijevoza ili zadaćama traganja i spašavanja. Postoje 3 inačice helikoptera: VFR (engl. Visual Flight Rules), IFR (engl Instrument Flight Rules) te NVG (engl. Night-Vision Goggles). Sve tri inačice se koriste za različite zadaće, pa su, prema tome, neke inačice opremljene uređajima i sustavima koje ostale dvije inačice nemaju. Helikopteri koji su opremljeni različitim sustavima, odnosno, opremom koja je prilagođena trenutnim uvjetima u kojima se djeluje, isto tako, imaju i određene različitosti kada se govori o održavanju istih. Svaki od pojedinih dijelova opreme u svakom trenutku leta mora biti ispravan i siguran za provedbu zadaće, tj. kako bi helikopter bio plovidben, što se postiže redovnim i kontinuiranim održavanjem i provjerama helikoptera dok je zemlji. Cilj rada je usporediti sve tri inačice helikoptera koje se koriste u Hrvatskom ratnom zrakoplovstvu na temelju njihove primjene, odnosno, na vrstu operacija koje obavljaju, vrste i načina održavanja istih. Također, analizirat će se program održavanja te zapisi i podatci o naletu i održavanju za duži vremenski period te na kraju utvrditi pojedine sličnosti i razlike između održavanja različitih inačica.The Croatian Air Force uses the Bell 206B helicopter in the implementation of practical training of students-military pilots, for reconnaissance, transport or search and rescue tasks. There are 3 versions of the helicopter: VFR (Visual Flight Rules), IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) and NVG (Night-Vision Goggles). All three versions are used for different tasks, so some versions are equipped with devices and systems that the other two versions do not have. Helicopters that are equipped with different systems or equipment that is adapted to the current conditions in which they operate, also have certain differences when it comes to maintaining them. Each of the individual pieces of equipment, at all times during the flight, must be correct and safe to perform the task, i.e., to keep the helicopter navigable, which is achieved by regular and continuous maintenance and inspections of the helicopter while on the ground. The aim of this thesis is to compare all three versions of helicopters used in the Croatian Air Force based on their application, i.e., the type of operations they perform, the types and methods of their maintenance. Also, the maintenance program, records and operation and maintenance data for a longer period of time will be analyzed, and finally some similarities and differences between maintenance of different versions will be determined

    U radu je obrađen zrakoplov Pilatus PC-9M, osnovne karakteristike zrakoplova te je detaljnije obrađena pogonska skupina i način promjene koraka elise. Opisane su procedure otkaza kod višemotornih i jednomotornih zrakoplova, a za Pilatus je opisana manevar prinudnog slijetanja. Kako bi se zrakoplov doveo u uvjete manevra prinudnog slijetanja potrebna je dobra procjena i kalkulacija doleta, GPS mjerenja koja su odrađena daju jasne podatke o doletu s obzirom na proceduru spuštanja. Pilot koji posjeduje znanje o doletu pri otkazu motora s obzirom na proceduru koje je pokazano u ovom radu ima značajno veću vjerojatnost spašavanja zrakoplova i posade.This paper deals with Pilatus PC-9M engine failure, basic characteristics and propeller pitch change mechanism. Furthermore, procedures with one engine inoperative are explained in case of multi-engine and single-engine aircraft. In order to bring aircraft into the conditions of a forced landing maneuver pilot needs to calculate range, GPS measurements in this paper give clear data on the range with regard to the descent procedure. A pilot who has knowledge of data for range calculations shown in this paper, is significantly more likely to save the aircraft and crew in engine failure conditions

    Optimizacija voznog parka poslovne organizacije ima signifikantan utjecaj na ostvarivanje ušteda u poslovanju prijevozničkih tvrtki. Elementi upravljanja voznim parkom (eng. Fleet Management) uz strukturirani pristup procesu angažiranja vanjskih prijevoznika, te evaluaciju prednosti i nedostataka angažiranja vanjskih prijevoznika, stvaraju temelj za određivanje optimalnog voznog parka poslovne organizacije. Na temelju prognoze potražnje za uslugama prijevoza u predstojećem razdoblju, te uz kriterij minimalnih ukupnih troškova prijevoza, određen je optimalni sastav voznog parka, odnosno optimalni udjel angažiranja vanjskih prijevoznika i optimalni broj vlastitih vozila prijevozničke tvrtke.The optimization of the business organization's fleet has a significant impact on the realization of savings in the operations of transport companies. Elements of fleet management with a structured approach to the process of hiring external carriers, and evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of hiring external carriers, create the basis for determining the optimal fleet of the business organization. Based on the forecast of demand for transport services in the forthcoming period, and with the criterion of minimum total transport costs, the optimal composition of the fleet was determined, i.e., the optimal share of hiring external carriers and the optimal number of own vehicles of the transport company

    Svrha je istraživanja u ovom diplomskom radu utvrditi što je potrebno za pravno i tehnološko unapređenje i usklađivanje pametnih ugovora kako bi pametni ugovori imali širu primjenu i pravnu prihvaćenost te bili ravnopravni s tradicionalnim ugovorima u pisanom obliku. Cilj je istraživanja dokazati spremnost tehnologije koja omogućava pametne ugovore te objasniti zašto pametni ugovori nisu do sad pravno regulirani i prihvaćeni. Analizom i usporedbom definicija za blockchain tehnologiju i pametne ugovore ponuđena je vlastita definicija za blockchain tehnologiju i pametne ugovore. Usporedili su se tradicionalni i pametni ugovori kako bi se istaknule prednosti i nedostaci pametnih ugovora te su se ponudila rješenja za nedostatke pametnih ugovora. Prijedlozi za tehnološko unapređenje pametnih ugovora su ponuđeni za Ethereum blockchain jer je to prva platforma za pametne ugovore koja je najveća i najpopularnija. Ponuđena su rješenja za prepreke koje su detektirali regulatori pojedinih država i organizacije. Pravna unapređenja pametnih ugovora su predložena na temelju analizi stava sudionika u pravnom sustavu.The purpose of the research in this thesis is to determine what is needed for the legal and technological improvement and harmonization of smart contracts so that smart contracts have wider application and legal acceptance and are equal to traditional contracts in written form. The aim of the research is to prove the readiness of the technology that enables smart contracts and to explain why smart contracts have not yet been legally regulated and accepted. By analyzing and comparing the definitions for blockchain technology and smart contracts, we offer our own definition for blockchain technology and smart contracts. Traditional and smart contracts were compared to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of smart contracts, and solutions were offered for the disadvantages of smart contracts. Proposals for the technological advancement of smart contracts are offered for the Ethereum blockchain because it is the first smart contract platform that is the largest and most popular. Solutions are offered for obstacles detected by the regulators of individual countries and organizations. Legal improvements of smart contracts are proposed based on the analysis of the attitude of the participants in the legal system
