Get PDFAs a consequence of a number of historical and socio-cultural preconditions it has been a second thousand years that mostly Christianity of Byzantine model with its specific service (liturgy), rituals and dogma is followed on the Ukrainian lands. However, only now, after long-lasting crisis and in terms of state-building and socio-political transformations in Ukrainian society, combating the military and political aggression of Russia, there is a real revival of Ukrainian Orthodoxy observed. The current state of religious life in Ukraine is characterized by
confessional tension in the relationship of Orthodoxy and by the spread of nontraditional religious teachings and denominations. This leads to a philosophical
analysis of inter-confessional consent as a condition of national security of the
Ukrainian society.
The nature of religious conflict lies in competing alternatives of ideological and
value systems: the eternal and absolute order (Kingdom of Heaven), strategies of
personal salvation, immortality and eternal life, and so on. And therefore any
compromise in beliefs equals to recognition of a world of good, which every believer sees his heavenly home, as wrong, erroneous, false.
Today in Ukraine there is a confrontation of ethno-developing and uniting tendencies of the Orthodox Church as a confrontation between Kyiv Patriarchate, autocephaly, UHKC, on the one hand, and the Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate on the
other. It is the conflict of churches, in essence, national and de-centralizational.
Main task of public policy is to ensure national security and optimization of the
spiritual climate in the country, and therefore to encourage the development of
ecumenical, consolidating trends, inter-church dialogue and tolerance among all
