Verification Using Healthy Adults of the Effects of Hydrogen Water Foot Baths
application/pdfTo verify the effects of foot baths using hydrogen water (oxidation-reduction potential: -87 to -168 mV, hydrogen content: 0.1 to 0.2 ppm), seven healthy adult people were given foot baths using tap water and hydrogen water, and the results compared. The results show that when using the hydrogen water foot bath, there was a significant decrease in diastolic blood pressure coupled with a significant increase in the temperature of the dorsum pedis. This suggests that the effects of foot baths using hydrogen water are higher than those using tap water, and will improve peripheral blood flow.departmental bulletin pape
Transformation of Mesembryanthemum crystallinum with Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain LBA 4404
application/pdfIt is known that growth inhibition occurs in plants when salt damage is applied to agricultural lands. This is not an exception even for edible crops, so salt removal is required quickly. In this study, we focused on phytoremediation using Mesembryanthemum crystallinum (ice plant) which is a halophytes having desalting effect. However, this cultivation condition is limited. Because of low pesticide chemical resistance, so it is difficult to use it for phytoremediation. Therefore, we aimed to create transformants suitable for phytoremediation by introducing genes that have resistant to the external environment including salt to ice plant. In order to establish the technology of transformants, we investigated the method of gene transfer to ice plant.departmental bulletin pape
The relationship between nurse's medical safety culture awareness and disposition
application/pdfTo implement triceps surae muscle stretching exercise on dependent elderly people who use wheelchairs to investigate reduction in lower limb edema. Stretching: (1) move dorsum of foot up and down (2) swing body to the left and right and raise buttocks and (3) rub feet with hands. Content: Measure maximum calf girth directly before, directly after and 10 minutes after stretching intervention. Analysis method: Two-way analysis of variance was performed. Results: All subjects were female and age was 84.83±9.11. Over the five days of stretching intervention, there was a significant difference right maximum calf girth measurement values (F (2, 30)= 1.92, p< .05, η2=4.74). Conclusions: As maximum calf girth measurement values decreased slightly each day. it appears that these stretches were effective. Three months is required to see improvement in lower limb muscle tissue and vascular endothelium function in elderly individuals.departmental bulletin pape
