Implementació d un sistema automatitzat de CI/CD basat en Flux i ChatOps amb verificació
No full text[ES] Este TFM propone el diseño e implementación de un flujo integral de CI/CD y GitOps en un entorno de cloud privada gestionado por la UPV, con el fin de optimizar la entrega de aplicaciones en clústeres de Kubernetes (K8s) respetando las buenas prácticas de la automatización, seguridad y trazabilidad, además de mantener cumplimiento normativo de la UPV, al aprovechar las capacidades de la infraestructura cloud privada, garantizando así la soberanía de los datos.
El punto de partida es un entorno Kubernetes existente donde actualmente no se ha implementado Flux. Como parte fundamental de este TFM, se diseñará e implementará Flux como agente de GitOps para establecer la sincronización automatizada entre los repositorios Git y el clúster de Kubernetes. Esta implementación inicial de Flux servirá como base para posteriormente abordar las carencias actuales del sistema, que incluyen: la falta de integración con CI (Integración Continua), validación automatizada de artefactos y políticas de seguridad avanzadas.[EN] This Master's Thesis proposes the design and implementation of a comprehensive CI/CD and GitOps pipeline in a private cloud environment managed by the University of Valencia (UPV). This project aims to optimize application delivery on Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, respecting best practices in automation, security, and traceability. It also maintains UPV regulatory compliance by leveraging the capabilities of the private cloud infrastructure, thus ensuring data sovereignty.
The starting point is an existing Kubernetes environment where Flux has not currently been implemented. As a fundamental part of this Master's Thesis, Flux will be designed and implemented as a GitOps agent to establish automated synchronization between Git repositories and the Kubernetes cluster. Eficiència energètica en l'edificació. Anàlisi i Optimització d'una vivenda d'obra nova mitjançant CE3X i CERMA.
No full text[ES] El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un análisis de la eficiencia energética de una vivienda aislada de obra nueva ubicada en Bétera (Valencia), a partir de una solución constructiva específica. Este estudio se llevará a cabo utilizando como referencia los estándares Passivhaus, así como los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) 2030, en particular aquellos relacionados con la sostenibilidad y la reducción de la huella de carbono en el sector de la edificación.
Para el análisis energético de la vivienda, se utilizarán las herramientas CE3X y CERMA, no solo para obtener un diagnóstico detallado, sino también para comparar sus resultados. Este análisis permitirá evaluar cuál de las dos herramientas ofrece mayor precisión y rigor, ayudando a determinar cuál es más adecuada para futuros proyectos, dependiendo de la necesidad de precisión frente a la facilidad de uso.
Una vez analizados los resultados obtenidos, se propondrán diversas mejoras tanto en la envolvente del edificio como en las instalaciones, con el objetivo de optimizar la eficiencia energética y el confort térmico de la vivienda. Finalmente, se extraerán las conclusiones del estudio, considerando el impacto de las mejoras implementadas y evaluando los resultados en relación con la certificación Passivhaus, lo que permitirá determinar el grado de sostenibilidad y eficiencia alcanzado en el proyecto.[EN] The objective of this work is to analyze the energy efficiency of a newly built detached house located in Bétera (Valencia), based on a specific construction solution. This study will be carried out using the Passivhaus standards as a reference, as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, particularly those related to sustainability and the reduction of the carbon footprint in the construction sector.
For the energy analysis of the dwelling, the tools CE3X and CERMA will be used, not only to obtain a detailed diagnosis but also to compare their results. This analysis will allow for the evaluation of which of the two tools offers greater accuracy and rigor, helping to determine which one is more suitable for future projects, depending on the need for precision versus ease of use.
Once the results have been analyzed, various improvements will be proposed, both in the building envelope and in the installations, with the aim of optimizing the energy efficiency and thermal comfort of the dwelling. Finally, conclusions will be drawn from the study, considering the impact of the proposed improvements and evaluating the results in relation to the Passivhaus certification, which will allow the degree of sustainability and efficiency achieved in the project to be determined.Penella Garzón, D. Disseny i implementació d'un reactor de biometanització per a dejeccions ovines i bioresidus amb un cabal de disseny de 7500 t/any de biomassa
No full text[ES] Se proyectará una planta de biometanización para una explotación de ganado ovino, con 3.000 cabezas, con un caudal de deyecciones de 5.500 toneladas por año. Además, se utilizarán biorresiduos de origen vegetal procedente de las diferentes industrias que se encuentran por la zona, como pueden ser, citrícolas o de otro tipo de frutas. El caudal de biorresiduos será de 2000 t/año.
Con este proyecto se pretende aumentar la rentabilidad de la explotación de una granja situada en la población de La Vall d’Uixó. Para ello, además de la memoria descriptiva y el dimensionamiento del reactor, se generarán tanto los planos como los detalles constructivos pertinentes, los cuales se integran en la documentación gráfica del proyecto. Como anexos a la memoria descriptiva, se incluirán los cálculos técnicos y los datos básicos empleados en la redacción del proyecto, garantizando su viabilidad estructural y operativa. Por último, se elaborarán los documentos necesarios para la obtención de las mediciones y el cálculo del coste de las distintas unidades de obra, así como la preparación de los presupuestos parciales y el presupuesto general.
Asimismo, se llevará a cabo el estudio económico y de viabilidad de la planta proyectada.[EN] A biomass power plant will be designed for a sheep farming operation with 3,000 heads, processing a manure flow of 5,500 tons per year. Additionally, biowaste from various industries in the surrounding area, such as citrus or other fruit processing plants, will be utilized. This project aims to enhance the profitability of the agricultural and livestock operation of a farm located in La Vall d’Uixó. To achieve this, in addition to the descriptive report, both the necessary plans and relevant construction details will be developed and integrated into the project's graphic documentation. As annexes to the descriptive report, technical calculations and the basic data used in drafting the project will be included, ensuring its structural and operational feasibility. Finally, the necessary documents will be prepared for obtaining measurements and calculating the cost of the different construction units, as well as drafting partial budgets and the overall project budget.

ParPMC-mediated susceptibility to plum pox virus: vascular expression in Prunus armeniaca and functional validation through ortholog silencing in Nicotiana benthamiana
No full text[EN] Sharka disease, caused by the Potyvirus plumpoxi (plum pox virus, PPV), is the primary limiting factor for stone fruit production globally, and the development of PPV-resistant cultivars is the most effective long-term strategy for controlling this disease. Recent studies have identified the Prunus armeniaca PPVres MATHd-containing (ParPMC) genes, part of a cluster of similar genes, as key host susceptibility factors essential for PPV infection in apricot. However, their specific functions remain largely unknown. This study examined the spatial expression patterns of the ParPMC1 and ParPMC2 genes, showing that they were primarily expressed in vascular bundle-rich tissues and were downregulated in resistant apricot cultivars. At subcellular level, both proteins localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm but ParPMC1 was distributed throughout the nucleus, whereas ParPMC2 appeared to be confined to the nuclear envelope. Orthology analyses revealed a "one-to-many" topology, indicating that a single ancestral gene duplicated after the emergence of the Rosaceae family, followed by additional tandem duplications and losses within Prunus species. To assess whether ParPMC downregulation contributed to PPV resistance, the ParPMC ortholog in Nicotiana benthamiana (NbPMC) was efficiently silenced using Tobacco Rattle Virus (TRV)-mediated Virus-Induced Gene Silencing (VIGS), resulting in a reduction in PPV infection. Overall, these results support the initial hypothesis that ParPMC1 and/or ParPMC2 function as host susceptibility genes in apricot, and their silencing may confer resistance to PPV. Moreover, their expression in conductive tissues suggests a potential role in the long-distance movement of the virus. BookCanBee: Revolutionizing Drug Education Content through Digital Modules
No full text[EN] The fusion of technology and pedagogy has become imperative in the ever-changing education landscape. BookCanBee is an initial attempt to utilize the innovative value of BookWidgets, Canva, and Kotobee software to transfigure drug education content into an engaging digital experience. Anchored in the ADDIE Model and Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning, this study explored the development and evaluation of digital modules in drug education for pre-service physical educators in a teacher education institution in Pampanga, Philippines. Employing a postpositivist worldview, the study adopted educational research and development design. Students and experts served as respondents to capture the developmental and evaluative insights for the proposed material. Results revealed smartphones as the quintessential tool for blended learning, emphasizing the shift towards mobile-centric instruction. However, the availability of non-print materials in drug education appears scarce indicating the need for digital materials to be developed. Despite moderate levels of readiness for mobile learning, students exhibited an interest in exploring the potential of mobile instruction. Meanwhile, six interactive modules, rooted in the 5Es model, were developed using Kotobee, Canva, and BookWidgets. Overall, the digital modules were assessed by experts to be very satisfactory, with contents being valid, instructions being appropriate, technical quality having minimal issues, and additional comments being complied with. The digital modules, as perceived by students, are effective in achieving specific and general learning outcomes, easy, and enjoyable to use for learning.
