Application of an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) for Precise Fertilization
The unmanned aerial system (UAS) eBee Plus, the eMotion guidance software and the Pix4dfields data processing software were investigated on two plots of wheat in PPK Valpovo. By using normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), application maps for nitrogen fertilizer were obtained, which resulted in the saving of nitrogen fertilizer applied in the feeding of this crop. This guidance and data processing software has proven to be easy to use and suitable for agricultural crop producers who own larger areas to grow. The average grain yield of the Gabrio variety (7.92 t/ha) by eight individual plots, with an emphasis on plot 9A-4, had the average grain yield of this variety of 8.48 t/ha, which is 6.61% higher yield than the average of this variety on these plots. Multi-year research and direct comparison of multi-year parameters obtained from the plots results in an increasingly expedient and optimal use of resources for work and an increase in the quantity and quality of products
CNN-Based Spectrum Sensing Method for Low Probability of Detection Communication Systems
In recent years, the development of Low Probability of Detection (LPD) communication systems has gained significant attention as a means to enhance communication security. Consequently, the need for effective signal interception technologies capable of detecting such signals has also increased. This paper proposes a novel spectrum sensing method based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to determine the presence or absence of signals. The proposed method addresses the limitations of conventional energy detection techniques that rely on fixed thresholds, by learning diverse signal patterns to enable more accurate detection. Received signals are first sampled at a high rate and transformed into frequency-domain representations using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). These frequency spectra are then accumulated over time to form two-dimensional spectrograms, which are used as input to the CNN model. The proposed CNN classifier comprises four convolutional layers, along with batch normalization and pooling layers. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach consistently outperforms traditional threshold-based energy detection methods, achieving approximately a 2 dB performance gain across all SNR conditions. Under –6 dB SNR, the method achieves an improvement of about 35% in detection accuracy
Innovative Culture: A Predictor of Digital Transformation in Technical Manufacturing Companies
The innovative culture and the implementation of new digital technologies in the overall operation of enterprises are predictors of their digital transformation process. This paper, based on a study conducted on a convenient sample of 42 technical manufacturing companies in Croatia, examines their awareness and determines their readiness for digital transformation, with particular emphasis on the manufacturing process itself. Accepting the results of related international studies, according to which the Republic of Croatia is placed in the lower part of the readiness scale for business operations in the digital age, the hypothesis was set that Croatian enterprises are insufficiently familiar with the benefits of digital transformation achieved through the development of a digital innovative culture. Based on the analysis of the results, the reasons for the effective semi/unpreparedness of technical manufacturing companies to enter the process of digital transformation are determined, inductive conclusions are drawn, and suggestions for ways to encourage innovative culture are given
Metode i načini za suzbijanje agenata ateističkoga antropocentrizma i Laudato Si’
The article is a continuation of the previous two studies conducted by the authors. The first was a conceptual analysis of the four agents of atheistic anthropocentrism: relativism, hedonism, consumerism, and materialism. The goal of the first paper was to investigate the precise meanings of the agents of atheistic anthropocentrism. The second research paper studied the impact and influence of four agents of atheistic anthropocentrism on society and the environment. Negative impacts were observed, not only on the environment and society but also on the individual. This third research paper explores means, solutions, methods, and remedies to overcome the agents of atheistic anthropocentrism. After understanding the terms and researching the devastating influence of atheistic anthropocentrism, it is crucial to seek ways and actions to face and overcome these social deviations. The paper complements those methods or remedies with the recommendations from the encyclical Laudato Si’. These actions to overcome atheistic anthropocentrism are important since Laudato Si’ is based on a Christian proactive stand towards the world, not just the role of mere observers or analysts. The encyclical Laudato Si’ clearly shows the negative influence of the agents of atheistic anthropocentrism and provides solutions against them, so it is important to analyze the recommendations of Pope Francis. A strategy summarizing methods and means against the agents of atheistic anthropocentrism is called A.A.A.A.A. - Actions Against Agents of Atheistic Anthropocentrism.Članak je nastavak na prethodna dva istraživanja autorā.

Mikrobiološka svojstva sireva dozrijevanih u životinjskim kožama i prirodnim špiljama
This review investigates the microbial communities present in cheeses aged in animal skin sacks and natural caves. These traditional aging techniques preserve cultural practices and contribute to the unique flavours and textures of cheese. Analysis revealed that cheeses aged in animal skins exhibit a higher number of shared species and a more complex bacterial composition than those aged in caves. The dominant species identified in skin-aged cheeses have shown to be Lactococcus lactis, Lactiplantibacillus plantarum, Enterococcus faecalis, and Lactobacillus delbrueckii, while cave-aged cheeses predominantly contain Brevibacterium species, Lactococcus lactis, and Debaryomyces hansenii, with Kluyveromyces lactis dominating the core microbiota. Additionally, cheeses aged in skin sacks exhibited a notable presence of anaerobic flora due to the enclosed environment, whereas the surface of cave-aged cheeses harboured more halophilic microorganisms due to salt treatments.
