    氦离子注入4H-SiC晶体的纳米硬度研究;Study on nanohardness of helium-implanted 4H-SiC

    4H-SiC晶体经能量为100keV,剂量为3×1016cm-2的氦离子高温(500K)注入后,再在773—1273K温度范围内进行了退火处理,最后使用纳米压痕仪测量了样品注入面的硬度.测试结果表明,在500—1273K温度范围内样品的硬度随退火温度升高呈现先增大后减小再增大的趋势,其中773K退火样品的硬度增大明显.分析认为,退火样品的硬度变化是由退火过程中缺陷复合与氦泡生长导致样品内部的Si—C键密度、键长和键角改变引起的

    以9.7MeV/u的238U36+,5.62MeV/u的70Zn10+为典型离子,分析并模拟了分离扇回旋加速器(SSC)的注入、加速和引出,得到了SSC在理论等时场下横向和纵向的接受度。为了研究SSC在实际情况下的接受度,在实测场的基础上采用Kr-Kb方法以及Lagrange插值方法建立了与实际比较符合的等时场,计算了该等时场下SSC横向和纵向的接受度,发现了导致SSC实际接受度和传输效率低的主要原因在于注入系统中的MSI3元件和引出系统中的MSE3元件设计存在缺陷。模拟结果显示,通过改变MSI3和MSE3的曲率或者垫铁改变元件内部的场分布可以改善SSC的实际接受度和传输效率

    X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy study on GaN crystal irradiated by slow highly charged ions

    We utilize slow highly charged ions of Xeq+ and Pbq+ to irradiate GaN crystal films grown on sapphire substrate, and use X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy to analyze its surface chemical composition and chemical state of the elements. The results show that highly charged ions can etch the sample surface obviously, and the GaN sample irradiated by highly charged ions has N depletion or is Ga rich on its surface. Besides, the relative content of Ga-Ga bond increases as the dose and charge state of the incident ions increase. In addition, the binding energy of Ga 3d(5/2) electrons corresponding to Ga-Ga bond of the irradiated GaN sample is smaller compared with that of the Ga bulk material. This can be attributed to the lattice damage, which shifts the binding energy of inner orbital electrons to the lower end

    The effects of the annealing time on helium implantation in Si

    The modifications induced in silicon samples by helium implantation before and after isothermal annealing at 673 K have been investigated. The surface morphology has been detected by atomic force microscopy. A hillock structure is observed on the sample surface before and after annealing for 5-10 min. Surface blister formation is observed with an increasing annealing time. The variation of crystal damage with annealing time has been investigated by Rutherford backscattering/channeling. The intensity of the damage peak first increases with annealing time, reaches maximum at an annealing time of 60 min and then decreases. Helium-induced bubbles and residual defects have been observed by transmission electron microscopy, which shows that dislocations are close to the bubbles. (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved

    Inclusive pi(0), eta, and direct photon production at high transverse momentum in p plus p and d plus Au collisions at root s(NN)=200 GeV

    We report a measurement of high-p(T) inclusive pi(0), eta, and direct photon production in p + p and d + Au collisions at root s(NN) = 200 GeV at midrapidity (0 < eta < 1). Photons from the decay pi(0) -> gamma gamma were detected in the barrel electromagnetic calorimeter of the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The eta -> gamma gamma decay was also observed and constituted the first eta measurement by STAR. The first direct photon cross-section measurement by STAR is also presented; the signal was extracted statistically by subtracting the pi(0), eta, and omega(782) decay background from the inclusive photon distribution observed in the calorimeter. The analysis is described in detail, and the results are found to be in good agreement with earlier measurements and with next-to-leading-order perturbative QCD calculations

    Observation of charge-dependent azimuthal correlations and possible local strong parity violation in heavy-ion collisions

    Parity (P)-odd domains, corresponding to nontrivial topological solutions of the QCD vacuum, might be created during relativistic heavy-ion collisions. These domains are predicted to lead to charge separation of quarks along the orbital momentum of the system created in noncentral collisions. To study this effect, we investigate a three-particle mixed-harmonics azimuthal correlator which is a P-even observable, but directly sensitive to the charge-separation effect. We report measurements of this observable using the STAR detector in Au + Au and Cu + Cu collisions at root s(NN) = 200 and 62 GeV. The results are presented as a function of collision centrality, particle separation in rapidity, and particle transverse momentum. A signal consistent with several of the theoretical expectations is detected in all four data sets. We compare our results to the predictions of existing event generators and discuss in detail possible contributions from other effects that are not related to P violation

    Spin and spin-isospin instabilities and Landau parameters of Skyrme interactions with tensor correlations

    The Landau parameters of Skyrme interactions in the spin and spin-isospin channels are studied using various Skyrme effective interactions with and without tensor correlations. We focus on the role of the tensor terms on the spin and spin-isospin instabilities that can occur in nuclear matter above saturation density. We point out that these instabilities are realized in nuclear matter at the critical density of about two times the saturation density for all the adopted parameter sets. The critical density is shown to be very much dependent not only on the choice of the Skyrme parameter set, but also on the inclusion of the tensor terms

    Non-commutative oscillator with Kepler-type dynamical symmetry

    A 3-dimensional non-commutative oscillator with no mass term but with an appropriate momentum-dependent potential admits a conserved Runge-Lenz vector, derived from the dual description in momentum space.     微束辐照装置是将辐照样品的束斑缩小到μm量级,能够对辐照粒子进行准确定位和精确计数的实验平台,是开展辐照材料学、辐照生物学、辐照生物医学和微加工的有力工具。μm量级的束流对设备的准直安装也提出了极高的要求,对于HIRFL系统微束线上的二极磁铁,由于其所在位置的空间相当狭小,使得设计就位时磁铁的位置及角度与地面做基准时的不同,这给安装准直工作带来了挑战。通过引入变化的基准坐标值的办法,有效解决了这一难题,使全部磁铁安装误差都控制在了要求的公差范围之内
