    Test of IMME in fp shell via direct mass measurements of T-z =-3/2 nuclides

    <span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 22px; background-color: rgb(248, 248, 248);">Isochronous mass spectrometry has been applied to neutron-deficient Ni-58 projectile fragments at the HIRFL-CSR facility in Lanzhou, China. Masses of four short-lived T-z = -3/2 nuclides Ti-41, Cr-45, Fe-49, and Ni-53 have been measured with a precision of 20 - 40 keV. The new mass data enabled for the first time to test the isobaric multiplet mass equation (IMME) in fp-shell nuclei. We observed that the IMME is inconsistent with the generally accepted quadratic form for the A = 53, T = 3/2 quartet. We performed full space shell model calculations and compared them with the new experimental results. The main results were published in Y.H. Zhang et al., Physical Review Letters 109 (2012). Here we give details on the experiment and data analysis as well as summarize the main findings.</span

    R&D of an LLRF control system for a 162.5 MHz radio frequency system

    This paper describes a low level radio frequency control system that was developed by the Institute of Modern Physics Chinese Academy of Sciences, and will be used in Injector II of the China-ADS project. The LLRF control system consists of an RF modulated front end, fast analog-to-digital converter (ADC) modules, and a digital signal processing board based on a field programmable gate array. The system has been tested on a room temperature cavity with 12-hr, and the results illustrate that the stability of amplitude and phase achieved +/-0.32% and +/-0.35 degrees, respectively

    <span style="color: rgb(69, 69, 69); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 21px; text-indent: 24px;">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 本实用新型提供一种窄脉冲峰值保持装置,括有输入电路通过匹配网络R1和R2与峰值保持电路的输入端连接,峰值保持电路的输出端连接带有电平移动功能的缓冲器,缓冲器的输出端为峰值保持信号Vout;输入电路还通过电容C1与高速比较器U2的输入端连接;高速比较器的输出端连接控制逻辑电路,控制逻辑电路的输出端通过复位信号连接于峰值保持电路;高速比较器的另一输入端接可调阈值电压Vth。该窄脉冲峰值保持装置能有效跟踪并保持前沿小于2.5ns,脉宽小于10ns的脉冲信号的峰值,且具有大动态范围和良好的线性,从而为核物理、粒子物理研究及其它相关领域中的高速窄脉冲信号处理,提供简单可靠的方法与手段。</span

    <span style="color: rgb(69, 69, 69); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 21px; text-indent: 24px;">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 本实用新型涉及一种质子或重离子束治癌装置。一种质子或重离子束治癌装置,包括有同步加速器,其主要特点是在同步加速器的前端设有离子源,所述的离子源为电子回旋共振离子源,电子回旋共振离子源通过源束线上的第0Q01?glasser四极透镜和第0Q02?glasser透镜、第1二极铁连接射频四极场直线加速器、中能束线上的第1四极磁铁、第2四极磁铁、第3四极磁铁、第4四极磁铁,在第2四极磁铁与第3四极磁铁之间设有第1二极磁铁,第4四极磁铁通过第1切割磁铁连接同步加速器的第1静电偏转板;在所述的同步加速器的第22四极磁铁与第31六极磁铁之间引出高能束线。本实用新型的优点是:直线加速器可以提供较高的流强,是近物所目前的SFC回旋加速器流强的20倍以上。越高的注入流强可以使同步加速器在注入同样的圈数下,获得越多的离子数。这样便可以节约同步加速器真空室的横向孔径,进而减小同步存储环的造价。</span

    Elastic scattering of the proton drip-line nucleus B-8 off a Pb-nat target at 170.3 MeV

    <span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 22px; background-color: rgb(248, 248, 248);">The elastic scattering of B-8 by a Pb-nat target was measured at an incident energy of 170.3 MeV. Special care was taken with the limited intensity and broad profile of the secondary beam. The measured angular distribution of the differential cross section shows that the Coulomb-nuclear interference peak (CNIP) is not suppressed in this system, in contrast to what was observed in the scattering of neutron halo nuclei by heavy targets at energies around the Coulomb barrier. Analyses of the angular distribution were performed both in terms of the optical model using a single-folding-type potential and the continuum discretized coupled-channels (CDCC) method, which explicitly takes into account the breakup-channel couplings to the elastic scattering. The overall pattern of the differential cross section is well reproduced by the CDCC calculations. The calculations show that the effect of breakup-channel couplings on the elastic scattering is small in the present case.</span
