The Impact of the Government’s Fiscal Policy on Economic Development
This paper reviews the effects of government fiscal policy on economic development in the short run and long run. It describes the role of government investment policy on economic growth. Specifically, a research about relationship between government taxation on economic growth rates and economic growth using different approaches based primarily on the theory of economic growth is conducted. Paper starts with the empirical connections between economic development and fiscal policy. Specific model of development that offers possible explanations to the relationship are presented

Many times nowadays is emphasized the importance of access to up-to-date information.
In general our era is regarded as the information age. In the same time there is a trend to
couple information with an appropriate knowledge about particular area of research or
interest. Thus knowledge becomes an increasingly important asset for individuals and
organizations. With more upward intensity knowledge has been viewed as an active area
of research. Accordingly there is a need for highly skilled knowledge workers utilizing
knowledge management and personal knowledge management (PKM) approaches in
particular for performing their job duties, engaging in lifelong learning activities or for
managing their spare time things to do. Mobile devices are another phenomenon that has
overtaken twenty first century society. Their initial purpose to serve as a voice
communication enabler has been achieved already a while ago. Nowadays mobile
devices such as smartphones possess far more diverse functionality. Personal digital
assistants (PDAs) are another handheld devices equipped with a wide set of functions.
However smartphones tend to be more frequently used both in business and in nonbusiness
environments. Thus in this paper smartphone functionality and specifications
are explored as well as the latest advancements and development trends in this area.
Many times smartphones are used by knowledge workers as not infrequently their job
duties require mobility. A classification has been developed that categorizes smartphone
functionality and technical specifications in respect to applications in PKM. As follows
smartphone technology applications towards knowledge management and PKM are also
prospected. Finally the outcomes of this research are discussed and potential benefiting
parties are identified

In result is defined the equation of contour of a loop of a hysteresis and calculate her area at axial loading and a bend. The microelement consists of two ideally elastic particles, disjointed an elasto-plastic stratum. Orientation of a stratum has random character. At loading elastic parts of a microelement tend to move along a stratum. Displacements occur at some ultimate load when shear stress in a stratum reach yield strength. Values of yield limit of different microelements may differ. Therefore examination of character of loading of a device as a whole is necessary conduct with statistical methods. It is supposed, that allocations of an angle, defining orientation of a stratum of a microelement and of yield strength of layers, are the uniforms

Atteices pakāpeniskā nodiluma rezultātā veidošanās modeļi ļauj veikt triboelementa ar vien- un daudzslāņu jonu-plazmas pārklājumu drošuma novērtēšanu. Piedāvātie modeļi ir konstruēti ievērojot paša pārklājuma un triboelementa pamatmateriāla kvalitātes nehomogenitāti. Mainīgie ir arī pārklājuma biezums un dilšanas ātrums
Realization of Optimal FBG Band–Pass Filters for High Speed HDWDM
Optical wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) communication systems are forging ahead towards higher data transmission rate and lower channel spacing to utilize available bandwidth more effectively [1]. Increasing spectral efficiency is important for building efficient WDM communication systems, since this allows the optical infrastructure to be shared among many WDM channels, and thus reduces the cost per transmitted information bit in a fully loaded system [2].
In this paper we demonstrate performance of three different apodization profiles and their influence on high speed dense WDM systems main parameters: channel spacing and data transmission rate. We foresee that lower channel spacing and higher data transmission rate WDM systems will need FBG optical filters with inscribed more complex apodization profiles
