On Road of ”EUPOS® Contribution to GOCE Mission”
The ground based augmentation system EUPOS® is widely used for land surveying where the height component is substantial. The high quality geoid model for normal or orthometric height determinatian is needed. Therefore EUPOS® community is willing to support the European Space Agency (ESA) Gravity and solid state Ocean Circulation Explorer (GOCE) mission which aims to 1-2 cm precision geoid model determination. The project proposal ”EUPOS® contribution to GOCE mission” has been accepted by ESA.
However, accomplishment of EUPOS® liabilities in this project are rather sporadic due to the professional daily responsibilities of the corresponding organizations of EUPOS® partner countries. In spite of this we are trying
to improve our activities in contribution to GOCE mission

Algorithm for Increasing Traffic Capacity of Level-Crossing Using Scheduling Theory
In this paper authors present heuristics algorithm for level-crossing traffic capacity increasing. The genetic algorithm is proposed for this task solution. To create control centre and installed embedded intelligent devices on railway vehicles are proposed to control its motion speed and operate with level-crossing barriers.

Mathematical Simulation, Determination and Analysis of the Magnetic Field Occurred by the Armature Reaction of the Synchronous Machine
To solve partial derivative equations for vector magnetic potential by method of mathematical simulating finite element method is used. Designed, theoretically based, and described method which allows from stationary magnetic field simulation results to achieve vector potential as the spatial coordinate’s functions so obtaining the flux leakage with the armature winding as a function of time. Calculations are made for a particular synchronous machine and from simulation results the synchronous inductive reactance values are obtained
Virtual Image Analyzer-Synthesizer Based on the Novel Discrete Orthogonal Transforms
The Matlab/Simulink based interactive virtual Image Analyzer-synthesizer (IMANSY) is presented. The present tool can be
used for both analysis and synthesis of images using the rotation angles based parametrical discrete orthogonal transforms. The virtual
IMANSY is developed for both Windows and Linux environment. The prototyping of novel image processing algorithms can be

Viens no galvenajiem nosacījumiem ekonomiskai attīstībai ir efektīva Latvijas banku sistēma, lai komercbankas spētu nodrošināt finanšu stabilitāti, viens no nozīmīgākajiem rādītājiem ir bankas kapitāla pietiekamība, kas sevī ietver arī jēdzienu „klientu kapitāls”.

Lai bankas spētu nodrošināt klientu lojalitāti savai bankai un līdz ar to klientu kapitāla neaizplūšanu, tika izvirzīti vairāki integrētā intelektuālā kapitāla nosacījumi, kuri ļāva noskaidrot no kādiem komponentiem sastāv klientu kapitāls
Advancements of the Topological Functioning Model for Model Driven Architecture Approach
This paper describes the advancements of the Topological Function-ing Model (TFM) for Model Driven Architecture (MDA) approach. This ap-proach recognizes the computation independent nature of a TFM and suggests it to be used as the Computation Independent Model (CIM) within MDA, thus partially automating system analysis. Since the proposal of this approach, there have been a number of significant improvements, revealing new possibilities for system analysis, domain modeling and system design modeling. These ad-vancements include integrating knowledge engineering with system analysis for domain modeling and acquiring a Topological Class Diagram, thus provid-ing unique features within Platform Specific Model (PSM) for further trans-formation and code generation
