Analysis of DDoS Attack Detection Techniques for Securing Software- Defined Networks
Get PDFSoftware-Defined Networks (SDN) is an important technology that enables a new approach to how we develop and manage networks. SDN divides the data plane and control plane and supports the logical centralization of network control. However, the centralized architecture of SDN is also a potential vulnerability for various types of malicious attacks. The paper elaborates on the security aspects of virtualization as a basic concept of SDN architecture. Among the many types of attack, one of the most frequent and destructive are Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. This paper presents an analysis of techniques to detect DDoS attacks in SDN networks. It first describes the SDN architecture and then elaborates on different detection techniques for DDoS attacks. Additionally, this paper emphasizes the types, components, and categories of detection solutions according to the techniques or methods used. The important approaches and those that can answer the complexity of detecting DDoS attacks in SDN are the detection schemes based on entropy and machine learning principles. na aktuelne zahteve društva i omogućila efikasnu borbu protiv kriminala. Shodno tome,
razvijaju se specijalizovane naučne discipline u oblasti forenzike, u cilju što boljeg i
preciznijeg odgovara na potrebe. U radu smo prikazali skorašnja dostignuća u oblasti
forenzičkog inženjerstva, digitalne forenzike i forenzike životne sredine sa analizom
prednosti i potencijalnih mana istih, kao i sugestijama u kom pravcu dalja istraživanja
mogu ići.Forensics, as an applied science, demands constant development
in order to successfully answer the demands of society, and
effectively combat crime. In order to fulfill this goal, highly
specialized branches of forensic science are constantly being
developed. We have shown recent achievements in the field of
forensic engineering, digital forensics and environmental forensics in

предности, али је и омогућио настанак нових појавних облика криминалног понашања, што је
захтевало континуирано унапређивања безбедносних механизама. Традиционални систем „бравe и
кључа“ више се не сматра довољно ефикасним за заштиту објеката, јер их потенцијални нападачи
лако могу заобићи. То је довело до увођења и перманентног развоја напредних сигурносних система
који користе биометријску технологију. Мултимодални биометријски системи се сматрају
ултимативним решењем за приступ високо осигураним просторима, јер користе више
биометријских карактеристика за аутентификацију идентитета корисника. Овим радом се
предлаже употреба мултимодалних биометријских система за заштиту објеката.The continuous development of information and communication technologies brought numerous
advantages, but also enabled the emergence of new forms of criminal behavior, which required continuous
improvement of security mechanisms. The traditional "lock and key" system is no longer considered effective
enough to protect facilities, as potential attackers can easily bypass them. This led to the introduction and
permanent development of advanced security systems that use biometric technology. Multimodal biometric
systems are considered the ultimate solution for access to highly secured spaces, as they use multiple
biometric features to authenticate the user's identity. This paper proposes the use of multimodal biometric

У правосудном систему Кнежевине Србије женама није било забрањено да се баве правозаступништвом, што је омогућило једној образованој жени да у периоду „мушке Србије“ крчи пут будућим женама адвокатима. У релевантној литератури могу се пронаћи ретки текстови у којим се разуђено и неупадљиво помиње живот и рад Марије Милутиновић без увида у целовиту биографију. Истраживањем необјављених архивских извора дошло се до значајних података о животу и раду Марије Милутиновић Пунктаторке, супруге песника Симе Милутиновића Сарајлије и мајке архитекте, професора Велике школе, Драгутина (Драгише) Милутиновића. У раду су приказани значај и улога Марије Милутиновић Пунктаторке у професионалној еманципацији жена у Србији током XIX века у сфери правосуђа и на пољу образовања женске деце. Као „прва српска“ учитељица образовала је девојчице и тако настојала да се жене у XIX веку изборе за своје место у друштву

No full textForenzička istraga nastanka eksplozija je složen i zahtevan proces koji obuhvata mnoge
faze, kako na samom mestu događaja, tako i u laboratorijskim uslovima. Rezultati
detekcije nastanka uzroka eksplozija umnogome zavise od veština i deriviranih znanja
forenzičara, njihove upotrebe naprednih tehnika i tehnologija, kao i primene najnovijih
naučnih istraživanja i saznanja. U radu je dat pregled instrumentalne metode i tehnike za
analizu i detekciju uzroka nastanka eksplozija prikupljenih iz više od 90 naučno-stručnih
radova koji su se bavili praktičnim iskustvima forenzičkih eksperata za eksplozive.
Dobijeni rezultati su zbirno prikazani i ukazuju da su pri analizi uzoraka eksplozija
najviše korišćene: kapilarna elektroforeza i Ramanova spektroskopija
Attitudes of Members of Private Security about the Police
Get PDFУ научној литератури постоје бројна истраживања перцепције грађана о полицији. Међутим, поставља се питање како полицију виде припадници приватног обезбеђења, који
обављају сличне безбедносне задатке као полицајци. Резултати
истраживања у коме је учествовало 178 припадника приватног
обезбеђења указују да они имају високо мишљење о полицији и
њеним припадницима. Приметно је да старији припадници приватног обезбеђења имају нешто боље мишљење о припадницима
полиције него њихове млађе колеге. То указује да са млађим припадницима приватног обезбеђења треба више радити, не само на
курсевима за приватно обезбеђење, него и касније током службе.
Свакако треба више инсистирати на заједничким обукама, како
ради повећања поверења тако и ради упознавања са процедурама
које службе предузимају.Scientific literature includes numerous studies of citizens’
perceptions of the police. However, the question arises as to how the
police are seen by members of priv ate security, who perform similar
security tasks as police officers. The results of the survey, which involved
178 members of private security services, indicate that they have a
high opinion of the police and its members. It is noticeable that older
members of private security have a slightly better opinion of members
of the police than their younger colleagues. This indicates that more
work should be done with younger members of the private security, not
only as part of the courses f or private security, but also later, during the
service. There is certainly a need to insist more on joint trainings, both
in order to increase trust and to get to know the procedures that the
services are undertaking
Digital Natives and online learning in police students
Get PDFAlthough not a novelty in education, online teaching and learning has come to the fore with the COVID-19 pandemic. As opposed to the time before this crisis, when it had been an option for certain categories of learners, with the pandemic going on, there has been emergency and forced shift to online environment which has had its impact on both teaching and learning. Purpose. This qualitative research was aimed to investigate the perception of the students of the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies (UCIPS) in Belgrade regarding the English Language 2 course primarily, but also regarding their online education in general. The questionnaire was designed, consisting of 11 multiple choice and open-ended questions combined. The goal was to investigate the opinions and experiences of the UCIPS students in order to get an in-depth insight into the problems related to online education. Results. The results suggest that in addition to the initial practical problems related to equipment and technology, the students faced other problems as well, including the lack of concentration, insufficient interaction, etc. However, there are some positive results: the students reported the overall satisfactions with the academic outcomes, and in their opinion the optimum way of teaching/learning would be a blended model. Conclusion. Our sample of Digital Natives have demonstrated the ability to recognize the main characteristics of online learning, its advantages and disadvantages, but also the objective and subjective aspects of problems. Although it was not a matter of choice for them, they have adapted to it well, as well as their teachers. The challenges however remain for both students and teachers in order for online education to be accepted even better in the future
