Data on the Fragility-Grievances-Conflict Triangle
This dataset merges data on state fragility, developmental grievances and political violence into an annual country-specific format from 1995 to 2018. It is based on the following existing data sources:

The data is produced for an exploration of the associations between several indicators related to developmental grievances, state fragility and conflict. The definitions and operationalisations of the variables of each of the source variable can be found in the above sources, while the methodology of the development of the applied variables can be seen in the do-file of this data. Arguments for each of the applied variables can be found in the associated paper, “The Fragility-Grievances-Conflict Triangle in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA): An Exploration of the Correlative Associations”.The data is based on existing datasets and has been compiled from them by using statistical tools offered by the Stata program.New variables were created based on the variables in open source datasets (listed in the codebook), to make the data based on country-year observations.The Stata program was used to create the additional variables and to merge the existing variables. The do-file attached to this dataset shows how the new variables were created and how the existing open source variables were merged

Dataset supporting the paper: Anxiety Biases Audiovisual Processing of Social Signals
This dataset includes data on behavioural outcomes for the audiovisual emotion recognition tasks used in the publication, "Anxiety Biases Audiovisual Processing of Social Signals". In this study the authors investigated perception of happy and angry emotions within unimodal (audio- and visual-only), congruent and incongruent audiovisual displays in healthy adults with higher and lower levels of trait anxiety. The data is organised to facilitate replication of the ANCOVA analyses carried out in the aforementioned study. Data included in this dataset has already been pre-processed (i.e., univariate outliers have already been identified and dealt with).This dataset contains data for behavioural outcomes from two audiovisual emotion recognition tasks involving three different types of emotional stimuli. Participants were asked to categorise emotion for three types of stimuli: (1) dynamic faces and voices, (2) point-light displays showing the body motion of two interacting agents and corresponding dialogues, and (3) circles and tones varying in brightness and pitch. For each of the three stimulus types participants completed two separate tasks where they had to identify whether stimuli were happy or angry from unimodal (audio- and visual-only), congruent and incongruent audiovisual displays. The ‘Directed Attention Task’ aimed at examining the impact of anxiety on crossmodal interference by requiring participants to base their judgements exclusively on information from one modality (either audio or visual) while ignoring any concurrently presented information from the other modality. The ‘Undirected Attention Task’ did not require participants to focus their judgements on information from a particular modality, as they responded based on their ‘overall impression’ of the emotional content of the stimuli.All the data in this dataset has been anonymised prior to sharing. Univariate outliers were identified as datapoints lying more than +/- 3 median absolute deviations from the median value. Outliers have been winsorized prior to sharing (i.e. replaced with the next most extreme non-outlier value in the dataset).Information on the layout of the data has been provided in the README sheet in each Excel spreadsheet file
Dataset for "Photocatalytic ZnO foams for micropollutant degradation"
Photocatalytic foams can concomitantly overcome the disadvantages of slurries and immobilised photocatalysts for water treatment. So far, foam synthesis has been restricted to nanoparticles grafting onto foam substrates. This approach can still release nanoparticles into the environment. The paper associated with this dataset, "Photocatalytic ZnO foams for micropollutant degradation" describes for the first time the synthesis of self-supporting, highly porous photocatalytic zinc oxide (ZnO) foams produced using a combination of liquid templating and sintering. Systematic changes in sintering times and temperature affected the foams’ morphology and structure, in turn controlling their photocatalytic activity (PCA) and stability.
This dataset contains the photocatalytic degradation and Carbamazepine calibration data underpinning these results, alongside measurements of Zn concentration in the solution after photocatalysis (ICP/MS), X-ray diffraction data, and Transmission and Scanning Electron Microscopy (TEM/SEM) images.All experimental details including sampling, procedures and methodologies are fully described in the associated manuscript.All technical details are fully described in the associated manuscript. Dataset for "Thermal comfort in naturally ventilated dwellings in the central Mexican plateau"
We undertook in this research a thermal comfort study in the city of Toluca, Mexico, located at 2600m of altitude with an oceanic climate (Cwb in the Köppen climate classification, similar to London). It was applied to a sample of 28 households, and included surveys with regards to thermal comfort, health, energy consumption patterns, and behavioural adaptations. We also placed temperature and relative humidity sensors that recorded information every 5 minutes. The study took place from April 2018 to February 2019.These datasets were created thanks to our volunteers who kindly agreed to participate in this study. We set relative humidity and temperature monitors in their homes for a period of 11 months. These monitors recorded data every five minutes. In addition, we visited the homes periodically to manually collect the data, as well as to apply thermal comfort surveys. A detailed explanation of how the data was collected can be found in the Methods section of the associated paper.Measurements were taken using a DS18B20 temperature sensor and an RHT03 humidity sensor.Temperatures are given in °C
Dataset for "Collaborative Governance and Governance Principles of Natural Resource Management: Water Management in the Lower Mekong Basin"
This data collection consists of a survey from three main groups of MRC stakeholders including the public sector, private sector, and civil society sector who attended the 9th MRC Regional Stakeholder Forum held by the Mekong River Commission on 5-6 February 2020 in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR. There were 105 participants which 38 participants agreed to respond to the questionnaire, representing 36.19 %. Participants came from mainly four countries including Lao PDR, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam as the member countries of MRC. The survey covers details of the MRC stakeholders’ perception of collaborative governance, governance principles of natural resources management, and outcomes.The researcher asked participants who attended the MRC stakeholder forum to fill in questionnaire surveys with all participants were asked to respond to a survey therefore the participants as the entire population with no sampling.This data is stored in the SPSS program therefore SPSS program is needed to open the data
Dataset for "Exploring How UK Adults' Attachment Style in Romantic Relationships Affects Engagement in Controlling Behaviours"
This data contains information about adults' attachment style in romantic relationships measured by the Adult Disorganised Attachment Scale (ADA) and the Revised Experiences in Close Relationships Questionnaire (ERS-RS). It also contains the participants demographic data (age, gender, gender, sexual orientation, Ethnic group, current relationship status, and how many relationships they had been in lasting more than 2 years), their engagement in punitive behaviours (Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire) and their Caregiving style (Caregiving Questionnaire). This was all measured in 149 English-speaking adults over the age of 18, living in the UK.A questionnaire battery consisting of four self-report measures was build using Qualtrics. The measures included the ESR-RS, ADA, Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire, Caregiving Questionnaire.
Any English-speaking adult, over the age of 18, living in the UK, was eligible to partake in this study.
The participants accessed the experiment from a link in the advertisement of the study. Initially they read an information sheet and completed a consent form before progressing onto the demographics’ questionnaire. Following these initial stages, the four self-report measures were presented to participants. They were asked to answer every question, on a Likert scale, in respect to their current or most recent romantic relationship. The questionnaire generally took the participants around 15 minutes to complete. Having completed the questionnaire measures, the participants were debriefed and thanked.The data was collected using a questionnaire built on Qualtrics, it was then downloaded onto Microsoft Excel for Mac Version 16.43 to be cleaned and finally the data was exported onto IMB SPSS v. 26 to be analysed. The only equipment required create the data and review the data was a laptop.Columns A-F contain the demographic data for each participant.

Columns H–P contain the data from the Adult Disorganised Attachment scale and column Q contains each participant’s score for this scale which was used in the subsequent analysis.
Columns S–AU contain the data from the Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire and column AV contains the Total Aggression Score for each participant which was used in the subsequent analysis.
Columns AX–BF contain the data from the Experiences in Close Relationships Questionnaire (ERS-RS) this data was used to calculate the total Avoidant Attachment score which is shown in column BG and the total Anxious Attachment score which is shown in BH, both of which were used in the subsequent analysis.
Columns BJ–CO contain the data from the Caregiving Questionnaire which provided a proximity maintenance and caregiving sensitivity scores shown in columns CP and CQ which was not included in the analysis. It also provided a total Controlling Caregiving Score, column CR, and a Compulsive Caregiving Score, column CS, which were both used in the subsequent analysis
Dataset for understanding material supply networks in the construction of disaster relief and refugee shelters using SNA
This data was collected for a journal article which analyzes supply networks using social network analysis method. Data contains results of 272 surveys conducted in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Turkey. The data was used to investigate supply networks using SNA in post-disaster reconstruction. Data includes details of the refugee housing materials, information on the suppliers, construction method and construction knowledge of the displaced - how they purchase? Where they purchase from? etc.Data was gathered from surveys conducted in the four countries. Principally, the questionnaire established the size of the shelters, the number of occupants, what materials were used in the construction of their shelters and where and how they were acquired. The level and sources of construction knowledge were also determined
Data sets for "Structure of crystalline and amorphous materials in the NASICON system Na_{1+x}Al_xGe_{2-x}(PO_4)_3"
Data sets used to prepare Figures 5-23 and Figures S1-S2 in the Journal of Chemical Physics article entitled "Structure of crystalline and amorphous materials in the NASICON system Na_{1+x}Al_xGe_{2-x}(PO_4)_3 ." Dataset for 'Crack growth and closure in cementitious composites: monitoring using piezoceramic sensors'
The Data in this spreadsheet is pertinent to the study in the paper titled ' Crack growth and closure in cementitious composites: monitoring using piezoceramic sensors’.
The spreadsheet contains the real part of the electrical impedance of Lead Zirconate Titanate PZT sensors, which were attached to the surface of different mortar samples.
The samples are numbered Sample 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, and the PZT are either donated PZT (C), which are close to the crack location or denoted PZT (S), which are further away from the crack location.
For sample 5, only PZT (C) was monitored, therefore the data in the data set for this sample is only for PZT (C).Throughout both a three-point bending damage senario, and a compressive loading recovery senario, the Impedance response of mortar samples was collected through surface attached PZT sensors. The impedance response was collected at discrete loading points.
The voltage used to actuate the PZT sensors was 2 V, and the impedance signature was collected in the frequency range of 15 – 350 kHz. 1000 points were collected in each sweep and a PC was used to both control the impedance analyser and to collect the data.
The purpose of this experiment was to demonstrate that both cracking and recovery, healing, can be detected by using the electromechanical impedance method by using surface attached PZT sensors.The impedance response of the PZT sensors was collected with a Newtons4th PSM 3750 frequency analyser (Newtons4th Ltd., Leicester, UK) interfaced with an impedance analyser. The impedance analyser was connected to the PZT sensors through 50 Ω coaxial cables, which were connected at one end to the impedance analyser, and the other end connected to the wires which were soldered to the PZT sensors.The data is in a spreadsheet, which composed of nine sheets. Each sheet contains the impedance response of one surface attached PZT through different loading values, collected at the frequency range 15 kHz- 350 kHz.
