The main difficulties in mastering the English language prepositions
The acquisition of the English language prepositions is not an easy task for foreigners who study English as a second or foreign language. This study specifies that mastering of English language prepositions is one of prerequisites to become skilled at English language fluency and accuracy. Firstly, this research paper discusses ways prepositions are used in English, and then reflects over some of the reasons why prepositions cause difficulties to English language learners. It also analyses the underlying system that governs prepositions and how this system might be represented to English language learners, by analyzing the current teaching pedagogy and suggests a possible adequate alternative. Accordingly, the paper examines the misuse of preposition by the students of the first grade of Economics at the AAB private college in Kosovo, and the students if the Faculty of Education at the Public University of Prishtina. The research showed that most of the students make repeated mistakes even with the most common used prepositions of time (in on and at) due to the influence of the first language and uncertainty it creates in producing an adequate statement with such prepositions. According to this research, I have concluded that the Economics students of the AAB College proved to make less error in using prepositions than the students of the Faculty of Education
The issue of Kosovar identity
With the re-proclaimed independence of Kosova on 17 February 2008 and with the foundation (establishment) of Kosova’s state among the public opinion began to circulate the idea that “since Kosova became a state, now we can also find the “Kosova nation”, because every state should have his own nationality, different (divers) by other national- states. The aim of this study is to argue that the idea of the Kosova state has not born with the purpose to create the new national identity of Kosova’s people (so the Kosovo nation) because the Albanian national identity of Kosova has been solid, established and determined. Besides the political unit not necessarily imposes the changing the national identity of the people (even if in the occupation circumstances). In fact, the efforts of Kosova people for liberation, independence and state building had the aim to protect guarantee and cultivate their determined and formed Albanian national identity which was being violated by Serbia. The paper will explain the idea that the “Kosova identity” as the “new national identity of Kosova” is more an artificial construction that ignores the historical and political conditions on the road of Albanian of Kosova for independence, than a real natural identity aspiration of Kosova’s people. Moreover, this idea is in contradict with the theoretical principles of modern nation building in general. At the end, will be concluded that Kosova state was projected from elites and the people of Kosova as a second Albanian state, temporarily unable for the union with the (natural Albanian state), Albania, so the “Kosova’s identity” is only an Albanian sub-identity with distinguished characteristics, but this is normal for all the modern national identities. As an actual obstacle of natural compliance of the Albanian identity with the state of Kosova are the “Ahtisaar principles” of the actual Republic (the republic of 17 February); which the political elites of Kosova after 2007 accepted as a compromise for the “recognition” of Kosova independence from the Security Council of UN (even after this compromise the council does not recognize Kosova’s independence

Also addresses the problem of communication with anonymous users, with whom the impression of individual identity is explored
The interaction of journalist and media owner in the journalism culture of Albania
The following paper aims to analyze the relationship of journalists and media owners in Albania, theoretically and empirically. The main thesis of the paper is that journalists as well as media owners should be treated as actors with their own pragmatic interests, which tend by these interests and build their relationship on the basis of their compliance or not. Because journalists do not work in a vacuum. During their daily job they encounter restrictions and influences that impact the product, i.e. the output they present to the audience at various degrees.1
These influences may be visible such as self-regulation or the code of ethics, but also invisible within the newsroom, such as censorship and professional ethos. We should not neglect the influence of the audience, the sources and the deadlines for delivering finished products because as McQuail notes“the content is systematically and seemingly influenced by organizational routines, practices and intentions, more than personal or ideological factors”2. So, if some time during the communist regime the journalists faced a series of barriers typical of totalitarian systems, nowadays the barriers are of a different nature
The communist press as an important element in the atheist propaganda in the Albanian totalitarian regime 1960 – 1970
In the Albanian totalitarian regime, the communist press played an outstanding role throughout the regime, from 1945 to 1990. The only purpose of the Albanian media would be assisting the totalitarian state. The media would transmit that selected information and data, complying with the ideological and political point of views of the party-state. Therefore, the public, the media and the public were regarded and functioned as the same unity. The atheist propaganda of the communist system was particularly special in brainwashing the Albanian people for the proletariat war that would lead into the triumph of the proletarian revolution and establishing the proletarian dictatorship in Albania, where media gave a big contribution. An introduction to the means and organization of the atheist propaganda in the communist regime in Albania follows up in this paper. In addition, a deeper prying would be performed in the atheist articles in the press, among famous newspapers of the time, such as: “Bashkimi”, “ZeriiRinise”, “ZeriiPopullit” etc. What was the role of the written press? Which was the true purpose of the atheist propaganda? What was the bond between the power, media and the propaganda? The Albanian communist party, confined to its Marxist-Leninist principles throughout the regime, would aim to thoroughly change the people psychologically and affect their lifestyle. In the atheist propaganda the religion would therefore be a synonym to the old, bourgeois lifestyle, the old-fashionable behaviors, emphasizing how the outdated religious propaganda had only kept the people in ignorance. The information conveyed from every element of the socialist society in the working units and party organizations would include the political, ideological, economic, social, educational, cultural activities of the Albanian communist system
Cultural Identity and Role of the Albanian Public Broadcasters
Development of national cultural identity, is depended on several factors. One of that key especially, in terms of public broadcaster’s role in society is considered media policies. Albanian Public Broadcaster, is a major player in constructing and strengthening of the national cultural identity. Its role and purpose is very well defined in the Audiovisual Media Law. The last decades was associated with the emerge and competition of private television stations, whereas the functions of the Albanian Public Broadcaster has not only been strengthened but in contrary, it has been weaken. This paper will be focused on national cultural identity, as one of the key principles of the Albanian Public Broadcaster. On how it has been supported as it is legitimized in the Audiovisual Media Law and perceived by the public of the country. It comes to conclusion that the State by exercising of their economic and political power and control over the Albanian Public Broadcaster, has damaged and prevented the fulfillment of this principle. State-RTSH, remain de facto, close links of a chain, which still hold pending public interests
Transformation of ownership – privatization in Gjakova municipality Period 1990 – 1999
Many difficulties accumulated over the years, which socialism as a socio-economic formation produced, precipitated uproars and political and economic shocks in several countries of the Eastern Bloc in the beginning of 80s. Poland was the breaking ground and subsequently, the waves of uproar, through Kosovo, reached the country formerly called Yugoslavia. There was no stopping to this turmoil, and in due time, it encompassed all the countries of Eastern Europe and even farther, generating its first concrete impact on collapsing the socialism as a socio-economic formation in the beginning of 90s. It also engulfed USRR (Russia), as the genesis, the place where socialism sprung. It was obvious that some changes in the eastern bloc countries were needed as the socialist economy deteriorated to the extent that it brought nations to the brink of mere existence, losing all its former glamour. The analysis of that time of the issue at hand point out, inter alia, the issue of undefined ownership, as the property back then was either state owned or socially owned (in former Yugoslavia), and it was not private property like in capitalist countries where the economy was intensively blooming.
Against this background, there was some organizational transformation in the economy of Gjakova municipality at that time, which preceded the proper ownership transformation – the privatization
The way of influencing journalists in Kosovo
The debates on the press freedom have never disappeared throughout the history of print and electronic media. However, during different periods of this history, the restrictions on press freedom have been expressed more or less, in a harsh or soft way, depending on social, political, economic or cultural developments. My professional curiosity has pushed me to conduct a research on the real shapes and dimensions of the influence on journalists and media outlets in Kosovo. The feedbacks from the questionnaires show that the influence on the journalist is bigger than the external perception. Through the questionnaires I’ve tried also to understand the ways and methods of influencing. Based on the analysed questionnaires the influence on journalists is executed in a direct or indirect way, in a strong way (by order) or in a polite way (through advices and recommendations)

It is established by the attitude of media entrepreneurs towards political parties, whose stance has been adopted already by the media political reporters
Bridges in Bosnia and Herzegovina from Ottoman Empire
The bridge is primarily utilitarian construction to ensure continuity of communications at various obstacles, in an open natural environment as well as the physical structure that is designed and built by man. The first appearance of the bridge is connected to the human need “to cross over to the other side” for existential reasons. As each time the given conditional natural features (geomorphology, water flows, water reservoirs …), on the route
of his physical barriers that occur very often, diverted travel route and regulate people’s lives and their communities, from the individual man to the highest state level. Bridge construction which solves the barrier, could be so important that the whole country opens huge economic opportunities that activates the natural resources to the extreme, to the people and the company involved in the regional and world civilization courses… Because of its great importance, the bridge throughout human history has become the most representative picture of the man and his community. The number of bridges, their physical stability, potential engineering and architectural design, materialization (…), are the subject of ongoing research, which
is, again and again, invent new dimensions beyond their pure utilitarianism. This work is one of these attempts, where the bridge is treated
in a very complex context: the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Ottoman rule. Selection of topic areas for the “bridge” is no accident: it should be noted that the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina “crossroads of the Worlds”, both i
