    Abstract Islamic banking hasn’t been able to touch the micro and small enterprises (MSEs) from street vendors to merchants in the traditional market which is usually referred as the grassroots economy. Driven by a sense of deep concern to many poor people are trapped by moneylenders and also in order to provide an alternative for those to expand its business but can’t be directly to related Islamic banking ( BMI and BPRS ) because the business it’s relatively small and micro, then in 1992 a small financial institutions that operate and use a combination of concepts Baitul Maal and Baitul Tamwil as the target and the scale on the micro business sector.     Abstract Many factors determine the meaning of quality of work life (QWL). This research reviews the factors of QWL based on models and past research. The factors of QWL discussed are balance between life and non life, the work itself, skill utilization, working condition, job involvement, co-worker relationship, promotion, salary and supervisory. Confirmatory Factor Analysis is used to determine dominant factors of QWL. This research concludes that all the factors we discussed have the value of Keiser Meyers Oklin Measure of Sampling Adequacy more than 0.5, except salary. It means that eight factors which determine QWL are balance between life and non life, the work itself, skill utilization, working condition, job involvement, co-worker relationship, promotion and supervisory. After varimax rotation process and based on criteria eigenvalue more than 1, this research has formed two component from all the factors. Component 1 consist of the factor: balance between life and non life, working condition, promotion and supervisory. And component 2 consist of the factor: work itself, skill utilization, job involvement and co-worker relationship

    Abstract The purpose of this study to determine the effect of student learning outcomes in the course Introduction to Management and Marketing Management of the learning course Marketing Management Consultant. Basic theory used is the theory of Thorndike. This theory states that the transfer of learning occurs from situation to situation, depending on the number of elements of the course content, manner, method, or purpose which may be incurred in both situations. The research was conducted in Jakarta YPBI STIE student 2006-period ex post facto research is 2010.Metode, sample as many as 20 people taken at random from a population of 35 people. The results obtained from study subjects Introduction to document management, and marketing management and marketing management consultant, lecturer and course records as the author of Introduction to Management and Management Consultant Pemasaran.Variabel consists of three variables: two independent variables, namely course Introduction to Management and Marketing Management, and a variable bound to the Consultant in Marketing Management course. Data analysis techniques required are Multiple regresion are: X1 = a + + b2X2 b3X3, testing hypotheses about the B2 and B3 used a statistical test with 95% confidence level or standard error of 0.05. The result is that the regression equation X1 = X2 +0.2 X3 27.2 +0.4, and 0.39 <B2 <0.41 = 0.95 and 0.18 <B3 <0.22 = 0.45 Keywords: Introduction to Management, Marketing Management, Marketing Management Consultant

    Abstract This study aims to increase student’s learning results through implementation of cooperative learning model based on type of Teams Game Tournament (TGT) combining with Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) in management foundamental subject.     Abstract The purpose of this study are: 1)Knowing the description of the product quality, brand image, and consumer loyalty of Federal Oil, 2) Knowing the influence of product quality to consumer loyalty of Federal Oil, 3) Knowing the influence of brand image to consumer loyalty of Federal Oil, 4)Knowing the influence product quality and brand image simultaneously to consumer loyalty of Federal Oil. The unit of observation is 204 respondents who turn of motor oil in Dewi Sartika and use Federal oil consumption four times or more. Research designs used are descriptive and causal. Sample determination technique using convenience sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale from 1 to 5. The result of this descriptive study is variable of quality product significantly affects consumer loyalty of Federal Oil, variable of brand image significantly affects consumer loyalty of Federal Oil. Results of hypothesis testing through t test and F test shows the influence variable quality of product to the consumer loyalty, the effect of brand image variable to the consumer loyalty. From these studies show that the percentage contribution to the influence of quality of product and brand image to the consumer loyalty by 54.2% (R2).     Abstract Since free-floating exchange rate system has been applied in Indonesia on August 1998, the accumulation of depreciation of rupiah against the US dollar has been about 48,7% until December 2001. This condition brings many argumentations about the reasons behind the exchange rate instability faced by Indonesia among many experts whether it is caused by economic factors or by non-economic factors. By recognizing the causes, it will be easier for the experts and government of Indonesia to formulate the solution. This research is intended to analyze the influence of economic variables, i.e. Gross Domestic Product, money supply, interest rate, inflation rate, Current Account & Capital Account in both Indonesia and The United State of America, as well as the position of the balance of international payment of Indonesia to the exchange rate movement in order to give contributions to solve the problem. Based on the result money supply becomes the only variable which has a multicollinearity and excluded from the regression linear. Also only current account is not significant influence on the exchange rate movement, instead of the other variables. Coefficient of determination of the research model is 84.4 %, means that other factors, not accommodated in this research, give 15.6 % influence to the exchange rate movement. These other factors can be catagorized as other economic factors or non-economic factors.     ABSTRACT This research was aimed at describing connections between government expenditures to Indonesia's economic growth in the period 1997-2007. In this research, central government expenditure can be divided into current expenditure and capital expenditure. The data were taken from Badan Pusat Statistik, International Funding Statistik (IFS) and Asian Development Bank (ADB). The analysis use qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative analysis described in descriptive about government expenditures in Indonesia. The quantitative analysis used Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) with secondary data. The Regression of research results show that: (1) current expenditure has a positive relationship to economic growth and the effect statistically significant. (2) capital expenditure has a positive relationship to economic growth and the effect statistically significant.     Abstract Empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is the largest group of economic actors in the Indonesian economy and proved to be a safety valve of the national economy and become dynamist economic growth in addition to being the largest business sector contribution to national development and also create job opportunities so that it is helping to reduce unemployment. Creation of business and investment climate that is conducive to improved governance through institutional Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and the formulation of policy and its implementation, besides its development program is directed at market-oriented program that is based on considerations of efficiency and the real needs (market oriented, demand-driven program) that will generate sustainable productivity growth. To obtain financing based on the feasibility of revamping and improving the business conducted entrepreneurial skills, organization, management, technical skills of business that was involved, the ability of innovation, financial management. Along the recovery of the banking sector, strengthening the financial sector, particularly banks in providing financing in terms of institutions, products, and financial markets to be able to provide financing with a larger number and type more with the procedures and requirements more easily.
