The relationship between medications adherence and quality of life among patients with type 2 diabetes in Hospital Pakar Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disorder that affects the body's ability to utilize blood glucose, a vital source of energy for cells. This study aims to study the relationship between medication adherence level, and quality of life among type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in Hospital Pakar USM.The study is conducted in outpatients settings, and 84 participants were recruited via purposive sampling. Medical compliance questionnaire is given out to assess patients' adherence to prescribed medical regimens while diabetes quality of life questionnaire consists of 3 domains, which are satisfaction, impact and worry. Results revealed that most respondents are aged of 51 to 70 years old (60.7%), male (54.84%),Malays (94.0%), secondary education level (65.5%), married (91.7%) with salary more than RM1000 (86.9%).In addition , results also revealed that majority of participants had suffered from T2DM for about 5 to 10 years (60.7%),undergo monotherapy treatment (65.5%),experience comorbidities (82.1%) and taken less than 3 medication (92.9%). The study demonstrates a statistically significant moderate negative correlation (r = -0.469, p < 0.01) between medical compliance and quality of life among 84 respondents. This suggests that lower medication compliance (higher MCQ Total scores) correlated with lower diabetes-related quality of life (lower Tota lDQOL scores). The significance level (p = 0.000) indicates that this link was unlikely to arise by coincidence. The difference in QoL between the non-adherent and adherent groups is statistically significant. This shows that adherence to the regimen or therapy under study may be related with a worse QoL. However, further investigation is required to confirm and identify other factors that may also contribute this present finding

The Impact Of Social Media On Animation Creativity Through Intrinsic Motivation Among University Students In Jiangsu Province, China
Social media has emerged as a powerful medium of communication across the
globe, and its extensive use has changed the way people communicate and interact
online. We have reached the point where these tools are no longer optional but instead
integral components of effective 21st-century school leadership. In recent years,
interest in creativity has grown as the field of education has placed greater emphasis
on the expression of creativity. Meanwhile, studies have shown that the creative
thinking skills required by animation students are declining. It can be seen that
attention on social media has increased while students’ creativity has decreased.
Preliminary research has shown that social media has an impact on students’ creativity,
and intrinsic motivation plays an important role in it. The study combines the theory
of stimulus-organization-response (S-O-R). Students receive stimulation (S) in the
form of exposure to social media, and as organisms (O), this stimulation affects their
creative motivation, resulting in responses (R) that affect students’ creativity. In the
study, a theoretical framework for the impact of social media on students’ creativity
under the influence of intrinsic motivation was established, and the development of
hypotheses was completed. The study also measures the relationship among social
media, intrinsic motivation, and students’ creativity, as well as influence effects. The
research used quantitative research measured by survey research and quasiexperimental
methods
A Risk Assessment Model For The Implementation Of Digital Twin Technology In China’s Construction Industry Wang
The Chinese construction industry has been criticized for its slow adoption of digitization, while Digital Twin (DT) technology is recognized as a potential solution. However, the implementation of DT comes with various risks, encompassing both opportunities and threats. Moreover, there is a notable gap in risk assessment specific to DT implementation within the Chinese construction sector. To fill this gap, this research is aiming at developing an effective risk assessment model (RAM) for evaluating associated risks, with the goal of enhancing the successful implementation of DT in construction. First, this research conducted a comprehensive literature review to identify potential risks associated with the practice of DT in the construction industry. Second, semi-structured interviews and the Fuzzy Delphi Method are carried out to refine the risks. Third, to better evaluate these risks, this research develops a General Cybernetic Best-Worst Method (G-Cy-BWM) RAM to identify and assess the significant risk factors (RFs) associated with the practice of DT within the construction sector. The multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) methods are adopted and a total of 36 qualified experts are involved in different phases of this research. As a result, a total of 32 critical RFs, including 23 opportunities and 9 threats, are identified and prioritized based on their interdependent weights calculated using the developed RAM
Physical Living Environment-perceived Well-being Of Adolescent Occupants: A Post-occupancy Evaluation (Poe) On Juvenile Institutions In Malaysia
The United Nations (UN) recognises good health and well-being as among the criteria for Sustainable Development Goals, extending to all individuals, regardless of age and gender. However, adolescent occupants in juvenile institutions are often being overlooked, and their well-being in these facilities remains questionable. Sensitising this scenario, this thesis explores the link between the perceived well-being of building end-users and the design of physical living environment at 13 juvenile institutions located in the peninsular region of Malaysia. The research objectives are twofold: (1) to inspect the current physical living environment of juvenile institutions in Malaysia, and (2) to assess the perceived well-being and satisfaction of adolescent occupants residing in juvenile institutions in Malaysia in regard to their current physical living environment. This study employed multi-method research design conducted in the form of Post-occupancy Evaluation (POE) at 7 probation hostels (Asrama Akhlak – AA) and 6 approved schools (Sekolah Tunas Bakti – STB). Walkthrough observation and end-user survey were performed to assess the conditions of the physical living environment of the juvenile institutions and to gather the perceived well-being of adolescent occupants respectively. The survey responses were then analysed using descriptive statistics walkthrough observations result was used to cross-verify the survey responses. It is found that while the majority of the adolescent occupants reported positive or neutral well-being, there remains a substantial proportion (25.53%) who are dissatisfied with their physical living environments
Assessing Muslims’ Willingness To Donate For Cash Waqf Projects: A Contingent Valuation Study In The Southernmost Provinces, Thailand
Recently, cash waqf has emerged as an innovative financial model, strategically used to secure seed funding for religious, educational, and public facilities in Thailand's southernmost provinces. However, this evolving dimension of donation remains underexplored. This study employs a comprehensive methodology to investigate how socioeconomic and motivational factors influence people's willingness to donate (WTD) to cash waqf projects. The research utilises the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) and ordinal logistic regression to assess the significant impact of these independent variables on WTD
