El Ser escritor y el Ser lector. Marcas de procedencia en las colecciones bibliográficas
Writing is a graphic language that, as a form of human activity, can signify thought and express the phenomena of the spirit, also to create acts that, as true, emerge as genuine reflections. Embodied in various media (sculpted, carved, handwritten, or printed), it will transport a message through time, granting it permanence and materiality, enabling the connection between the writer/producer and the reader, who must transform and interpret the word, while translating information into knowledge, belief, art, ethics or entertainment. In the present investigation, the existence of the book-document will be addressed as an object conceived, written, edited, bound, marketed, or stored to be read and used, bearing marks of provenance that show the nature of the relationships of the object with remote(s) possessor(s) and eventual user(s). The study of the marks found in documents contained in the archives located in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores: inscriptions, exlibris, stamps, labels, annotations in the margins, dedications, and various interventions, are relevant in the identification of the documentary specimens, making the knowledge of the history of the collections possible. At the same time, the analysis of these marks leads to the study of the reading personalities who populated the Atlantic islands

Assessing the Usability of University of Tehran’s Learning Management System
Assessing usability is nowadays considered a crucial factor in improving and developing any system’s performance and effectiveness including but not limited to university learning management systems. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a shift to online education was raised which had made learning management systems (LMSs) a core component especially in college level education. However, despite LMSs widespread use, very few studies were focused on usability of such systems and even among those few studies, fewer were based on learner’s perspectives. The aim of this study is to investigate the perceived usability of the University of Tehran’s LMS, particularly seeking the viewpoint of graduate level students. This study deployed a quantitative approach grounded in principles of human-computer interaction (HCI). Nielsen’s heuristic evaluation framework was utilized as a basis to assess the usability of the aforementioned LMS. Data collection took place via a researcher-designed online questionnaire survey, which was distributed among experienced graduate students at the University of Tehran. Participant’s eligibility criteria included them having experienced fully online learning before the study period (October 23 to November 5, 2021). The questionnaire’s content validity was confirmed by experts in HCI, Usability, UX design, user studies, and product design. The apparatus’s internal consistency was assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. Findings demonstrated that while graduate students perceived the LMS as being generally usable, falling above the average usability threshold, some aspects of the system still required further development. Specific heuristic categories were identified as requiring improvement, and additional usability features were recommended by participants at the end. This study aimed to shed light on both strengths and weaknesses of university of Tehran’s LMS from a user point of view. The results suggested various targeted improvements based on users’ feedback which can result in user satisfaction and overall usability of the system. Future system updates should consider integrating student-driven usability needs to optimize the learning experience

The First Break Since Postmodernism: The Rise of Post-Interpretive Criticism
The First Break Since Postmodernism: The Rise of Post-Interpretive Criticism introduces a groundbreaking movement in contemporary art criticism that formally departs from postmodernism and post-criticism. Post-Interpretive Criticism (PIC), developed by writer and founder Dorian Vale, redefines the role of the critic through five foundational frameworks: Absential Aesthetics, HauntMark Theory, Stillmark Theory, Viewer-as-Evidence, and Message Transfer Theory. These concepts prioritize ethical presence, moral restraint, and reverent witnessing over traditional interpretation or theoretical dominance.
Structured as a philosophical reorientation, PIC positions criticism as an act of custodial attention, not conquest. It emphasizes proximity without possession, silence without erasure, and writing as transformation rather than performance. Unlike movements born from academic consensus, PIC was authored and launched independently through the Museum of One, with formal infrastructure including DOI-linked publications, public archives, and a living lexicon.
This work argues that Post-Interpretive Criticism is the first fully articulated philosophical school of aesthetic thought to emerge since postmodernism—complete in theory, practice, and authorship. It reclaims criticism not as explanation, but as responsibility.
Dorian Vale is a chosen pseudonym, not to obscure identity, but to preserve clarity of voice and integrity of message. It creates distance between the writer and the work, allowing the philosophy to stand unclouded by biography. The name exists not to hide, but to honor the seriousness of the task: to speak without spectacle, and to build without needing to be seen. This name is used for all official publications, essays, and theoretical works indexed through DOI-linked repositories including Zenodo, OSF, PhilPapers, and SSRN.
This entry is connected to a series of original theories and treatises forming the foundation of the Post-Interpretive Criticism movement (Q136308909), authored by Dorian Vale (Q136308916) and published by Museum of One (Q136308879). These include: Stillmark Theory (Q136328254), Hauntmark Theory (Q136328273), Absential Aesthetic Theory (Q136328330), Viewer-as-Evidence Theory (Q136328828), Message-Transfer Theory (Q136329002), Aesthetic Displacement Theory (Q136329014), Theory of Misplacement (Q136329054), and Art as Truth: A Treatise (Q136329071), Aesthetic Recursion Theory (Q136339843
Consecuencias del Efecto Dunning–Kruger en los estudiantes: una revisión sistemática (2021 – 2025)
The Dunning–Kruger Effect (DKE) is a cognitive bias that leads individuals to make misguided decisions that compromise both their present and their future. Against this backdrop, the overarching aim of the study is to describe the consequences of the DKE in students at different academic levels. Adopting a qualitative, interpretive, exploratory, and descriptive approach, the research follows a non-experimental, cross-sectional design and applies the PRISMA (2020) protocol to conduct a systematic review of the scientific literature. To address the research question and objective, 20 scholarly articles published between 2021 and 2025 were analyzed—seven indexed in Scopus and thirteen in Web of Science. The study identifies nine categories that elucidate how the DKE affects students: (1) metacognitive miscalibration and the illusion of competence; (2) difficulties in self-regulated learning; (3) affective-motivational impacts; (4) behavioral repercussions; (5) cognitive effects; (6) academic outcomes; (7) academic and professional trajectories; (8) social and contextual dimensions; and (9) pedagogical and institutional factors. The principal conclusion is that the DKE undermines students’ learning processes, compelling educational leaders to devise strategies to prevent and mitigate its influence. The main limitation lies in the restricted access to only two databases—Scopus and Web of Science—highlighting the need to expand future research by incorporating additional databases

The formation of the awareness and theoretical thinking of a peasant student through comics from the perspective of cultural–historical theory
Introduction
This research aims to understand how the awareness and theoretical thinking of peasants are formed through the language of comics.
Method
A didactic-formative experiment was carried out with, from a public university in Brazil, using artistic productions, oral reports, and observations of comic classes at the same university to generate data. The data were analyzed using historical and dialectical materialism. For this article specifically, Student A2 is being highlighted because her results represent a larger trend among students.
Results and discussion
An analysis of Student A2's comics reveals symbolic layers that transcend mere visual representation. Elements such as lines, colors, and composition carry cultural and subjective meanings. It was found that the abstractions made by the student in the didactic-formative experience were important because she could grasp information that was unknown to her in her context. As a result, she became aware of her reality through art.
Conclusion
The comic strips by the students, as well as by student A2, show that visual signs should be learned at school because they help develop students' higher mental functions by learning semiotic resources. In this sense, the signs in the drawings that she was unfamiliar with helped to shape her awareness, based on the use and knowledge of new signs from the technical language of comics, under the guidance of the teacher with them throughout the process of creating the stories. The article reveals a paradox: comic books, often associated with the urban world, become a tool for cultural empowerment for rural students
