Identification of Predictor Factors and Descriptions of Post-traumatic Growth Post COVID-19 Pandemic: A Systematic Literature Review
COVID-19 pandemic left so much unknown and unexplored knowledge in the field of Positive Psychology. This systematic literature review (SLR) aims to identify the factors that can predict posttraumatic growth after the traumatic exposure of COVID 19 pandemic. This SLR employed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, with article selection criteria formulated using the Populations, Exposure, Outcomes, and Study Design (PEOS) framework. This SLR found that the only consistent external predictive factor for PTG is social support, while the consistent internal factors from inside the individual are self-efficacy, resilience, adaptive coping, and rumination. Emotional creativity and psychological flexibility were other internal factors considered as predictors. The demographic factors which are considered can predict PTG are being female, age, and economic status. The results of this literature review found that most studies on predictors for PTG came from the geographical setting of China, with Cross-Sectional as the most preferred study design. Findings from this SLR contribute to future research agenda concerning study design and geographical setting, as well as mental health promotion to increase PTG in the community after years of COVID-19 pandemic
Power relations in the novel My Name is Alam by Leila S. Chudori
Exploring discursive formations in literary works allows researchers to analyze how language and discourse shape meaning, power dynamics, and cultural ideologies within a specific literary context. Understanding the discursive formations in literary works is crucial for comprehending the historical and social context in which these works were produced. This research aims to describe the forms and representations of power relations in the novel My Name is Alam by Leila S. Chudori. This is qualitative descriptive research where the data is interpreted using the genealogical and archaeological analysis methods promoted by Foucault. This method aims to uncover and understand hidden power dynamics in various aspects of human life. The research results prove that the author's statements were spread across various formations and became material for discussion. Two forms of power relations are being discussed; the first is the New Order government's practice of authoritarian power in its various policies, which limits human rights. Second, there is resistance from marginalized groups, namely political prisoners and their families. This form of resistance is an effort by
marginalized groups to fight for equality and justice. The New Order government in Indonesia constructed a discourse to create a simulated space to legitimize its power within national memory politics. This simulated world is a blend of reality and fantasy constantly reproduced. As a result, the actual reality becomes obscured, and the symbols created are perceived as reality
The Effect of Augmented Reality (AR) on the Enhancement of Vocabulary in Elementary School Students: A Literature Review
The study explores the effect of Augmented Reality (AR) on
vocabulary enhancement in elementary school students. It aims to identify obstacles in the use of AR in the classroom and strategies used by teachers to overcome them. The systematic review approach, using the SPIDER analysis
tool, assesses scholarly articles, conference papers, and relevant studies from 2019 to 2024. The research reveals that AR has significant and effective potential
to enhance students' vocabulary understanding through engaging and interactive learning experiences. However, the adoption of AR faces challenges such as limited technology availability, inadequate teacher training, and high costs.
Teachers suggest potential solutions such as professional development programs,cost-effective augmented reality tools, and collaboration with technologists. The study proposes recommendations for successful integration of AR in vocabulary instruction, including thorough training for educators, affordable AR software, and ongoing support. The study confirms the potential of AR in transforming
language teaching methods in elementary schools, while also addressing practical obstacles
