The effect of varying the slit width on a diffraction system with a glass slab placed in front and examining the change in the angle of first minima by utilizing single slit intensity graph

During my studies in the DP, I have come across various topics in physics and saw their extent. However, the topic of waves stood out from the rest as it considered all types of waves and especially light. Exploring and researching about how light behaviour is in general is a well-known physics topic. Behaviour of light was said to be in a dual nature as it was proved in both ways that it acted as a wave or a particle. Diffraction of light by slits prove and help us quantify its properties by utilizing the wave phenomena

What is the effect of foreign substances (dust, ash) on the efficiency of solar panels

How does the width and percentage of throttle applied on a model helicopter affect its lift force?

The flight physics and aerodynamics describe the dynamics of the lift of a helicopter. Lift, the force that allows an aircraft to rise and remain airborne, depends on parameters such as throttle input to the rotor and the physical characteristics of the wings. In the experiment, the roles of throttle percentage and the width of the wings on the force of lift, two parameters that contribute to the flight mechanics, were investigated. These two parameters decide the ability of the helicopter to generate sufficient lift to counter the forces of gravity, therefore affecting the overall flight performance

Relationship between the maximum height reached by the vertical projection of the sponge ring called ”the note”, and the weight and the speed of the motors.

This research studies the behaviors of a sponge ring named “the note” during its projection in a vertical axis. The vertical projection is done by a system called “the Shooter” which was designed and manufactured by myself. It is controlled using a computer and a joystick connected to it. Experimentally, the speed of the shooter and the mass of the object will be changed, and theoretically spring constant of the note and height approximations will be done to investigate the relationship and draw conclusions

How does the height and flow of the waterfall affect the amount of electricity generated by a tiny, pumped storage system?

These days, electricity is a basic necessity for our everyday existence and can be found anywhere in this planet. Our mobile devices, computers, TVs, and additionally our kitchenware are all powered by it. Although a large portion of humanity uses electricity on an everyday basis, few people are aware of where or just how the energy is generated. A few years back was the very first moment I really started to notice where power and electricity came from. I had set up ambient lighting for several weeks that month, and from that point on, I had it on each night. My father came up to me and informed me that the energy bill had increased significantly from last month. I had thought this was because I was using the new lighting all the time. This started me on a mental path and made me wonder things like: How is energy produced
