UNRAVELLING THE COMPLEXITY: EXPLORING CHALLENGES IN FACILITATING THE MATHEMATICS CURRICULUM CONTENTS TO BASIC EDUCATION STUDENTS
This study delves into the intricate web of challenges faced by educators in the facilitation of mathematics curriculum contents to students in basic education. Mathematics, as a foundational subject, plays a pivotal role in shaping cognitive abilities and problem-solving skills. However, the complexities associated with delivering this curriculum to diverse learners present formidable obstacles. Through a comprehensive exploration of teaching methodologies, resource constraints, and the varying learning needs of students, this research aims to unravel the multifaceted nature of challenges encountered in the classroom. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys, interviews, and classroom observations to gather insights from both Math Subject Teachers and Middle Managers within the Lapu-Lapu City Schools Divisions during the academic year 2022- 2023.Also, a total of 143 teachers out of 154 overall mathematics teachers from Lapu-Lapu City Schools Division were taken in as a respondents using slovin’s formula in getting it’s sample population. Simple Percentage and Weighted Mean analysis were utilized to statistically treat the quantitative data while the Likert Scale was used for the qualitative data. The findings contribute to the understanding of barriers hindering effective mathematics education, offering valuable implications for curriculum design, teacher training, and educational policy. Hence, the researcher recommends that the proposed enhanced teaching and learning plan shall be adapted and be given special attention by school administrators and interested teachers. Ultimately, this research seeks to pave the way for innovative solutions to enhance the facilitation of mathematics curriculum contents, ensuring a more accessible and enriching learning experience for basic education students
THE NOTION OF SUICIDE
The thought of suicide resonates in minds that are depressed and see unforetold hardships in the future. They constantly struggle in their daily lives to harmonize their body and mind. It's as if everything is falling and the world becomes a darker inescapable sphere. The only escape route is suicide. They wrestle with their thoughts daily. Every day is a mountain to climb. They might have suffered broken relationships, loss of loved ones, financial debts and losses, spiritual and psychological problems, ailments, and self-inferiority. They look so depressed and restrain themselves from others. For them, no one can understand or solve the puzzle in their minds. They are constantly being reminded by their irrational mind that suicide is the escape route.

Mapping a World of Cities
How, where, and why do cities develop?" is the threshold question posed by Mapping a World of Cities, a freely-accessible, interactive timeline-based online exhibit of eighty-six maps documenting four centuries of city building across six continents. The project is a digital collaboration among ten United States map libraries and collections that, collectively, represent over seven million cartographic artifacts

Modelling and Editing Cross-Modal Synchronization on a Label Web Canvas
We present how the open-source web framework Dezrann enables users to hear, study, and annotate music by interacting with synchronized views such as image scores, rendered scores, videos, and representations of audio as waveforms or spectrograms. We encode as unit conversions the cross-modal synchronization between these music representations. Composing these conversions allows us to conveniently translate musical time, audio time, and graphical positions, as well as to synchronize annotation labels across views. Uses of the Dezrann platform or of some of its components include corpus annotation for musicology or computer music research, music education, as well as collaborative score edition and correction in the CollabScore project
COURSE SYLLABUS BY MARIANNA CHARITONIDOU_CRITICAL URBAN CONTEXTS AND THE VIEW FROM THE CAR_2023-2024
This course focuses on the impact of the view from the car in the invention of new representational strategies in architectural and urban design. The automobile has reshaped our conceptions of space and our modes of accessing and penetrating the urban and non-urban territory in multiple ways, revolutionizing how architects perceive the city and contributing significantly to the transformation of the relationship between architecture and the city. The course will examine the architects’ automobile vision. Its main objective is to help students understand how the automobile influenced the architects’ perception of the environment and how its generalized used provoked the emergence of new theoretical concepts and eventually led to new design perspectives. It aims to untie the specificity of car travel as a new episteme of the urban landscape
Scaling Olympus: Exploring official language certifications at the CEFR C2 level
For many foreign language learners, passing an examination at the C2 level – the sixth and highest level of the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) – can seem like a lofty goal. For educators, preparation requirements at this level can also be challenging, especially given common misconceptions about the degree of linguistic skill and knowledge required for candidates to complete the relevant qualification successfully. Accordingly, in first outlining the rationale and requirements for the CEFR C2 level according to the Council of Europe’s guidelines, this contribution aims to explore the official language qualifications available at this level of proficiency. As such, the range of accredited C2-level language certifications offered by institutional full members of the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE) will be investigated, primarily through analysis of the relevant websites for each individual C2 qualification. In comparing and contrasting these advanced-level examinations, which are offered across a range of European languages, it is intended to offer greater insights into the varying formats, structures, and requirements of official language certifications at the C2 level. Thus, it is intended to provide practical benefits not only for educators, but also for foreign language learners and examination candidates seeking to prepare for these qualifications
