Get PDFEl artículo analiza la feria agroecológica de la Universidad Central del Ecuador como un espacio de formación y comercialización entre estudiantes, productores y consumidores . Se emplearon diversas técnicas de recolección de datos, como entrevistas, encuestas y revisión bibliográfica sobre agroecología, mercados agroecológicos, circuitos cortos, redes y comercialización agroecológica. Los resultados muestran que los consumidores son en su mayoría jóvenes y mujeres, que perciben a los productos agroecológicos como más sanos y naturales, lo cual influye en sus preferencias de compra . Se recomienda para futuras investigaciones profundizar en los roles, conocimientos y procesos de decisión inmersos en el consumo de productos agroecológicos

OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY IN THE TRUCKING SERVICE BUSINESSES IN LUCENA CITY: A FOUNDATION FOR EFFECTIVE LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT
Get PDFAim: This study explores the intricate connections between operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in the logistics and transportation sectors of Lucena.
Methodology: The researcher collected direct responses from the participants using a descriptive design. Descriptive statistics, such as frequency distributions, percentages, and Pearson correlations, were used to analyze and interpret the data.
Results: The satisfaction assessment revealed positive evaluations across various dimensions, highlighting the significance of aesthetics, technological integration, reliability, assurance, empathy, and responsiveness. Furthermore, a strong positive correlation (r = .755, p < .001) is found, highlighting the connection between improved operational efficiency and higher levels of customer satisfaction.
Conclusion: This study concludes with practical recommendations for optimizing operational efficiency and improving customer satisfaction. These recommendations include strategies for facility maintenance, reliable delivery, staff training, and technology integration. It also suggests avenues for future research such as investigating the impact of emerging technologies and sustainability practices on operational efficiency
