    The purpose of the work: to analyze the literature and sources covering the issues of the style of monumental painting of the Church of the Savior at Berestove of 1643–1644 and to revise the terminology traditionally used in relation to the murals of this temple. The research methodology is based on the application of a systematic approach, an analytical method, art history, historical-comparative, historical-genetic, historical-systemic and descriptive methods for a comprehensive consideration of the given problem and formulate well-founded conclusions. The scientific novelty is characterized by the fact that for the first time, based on a critical analysis of literature and sources, the need for a thorough stylistic analysis of the monumental painting of the Church of the Savior on Berestove of 1643-1644 was determined in order to prove the authority to use the term "post-Byzantine art" in relation to this monument

    In the history of old Romanian painting, the icon of Saint John the Baptist with scenes from his life from Budești‑Josani occupies a very important place due to its exceptional artistic quality, as well as the Slavonic inscription with the master’s signature and date. The inscription, in a very poor state of preservation, has already been partially deciphered by acad. Marius Porumb and is now reconstructed with the help of macro photography. The recovered additional information completes the name of the painter, already known as the “full sinner Gheorghe”, with the name of his place of residence, Meleni (in Ukraine) and with the date in 7070 (=1561–1562)

Ello, devela al proceso de turistificación, donde el poder político expulsa a un actor social del espacio. El objetivo de este artículo es mostrar cómo se gesta este proceso, donde se despoja al ciudadano del acceso al espacio público. La metodología del espacio de Lefevbre muestra cómo en esta problemática confluyen distintas perspectivas territoriales que derivan en conflicto.     Teaching role of library staff is studied as established in the national and international professional frameworks and guidelines (CCB, REBIUN, ECIA, ALA, ACRL, IFLA), as well as the main aspects dealt with in professional literature. The specialized and academic publications analyzed deal with aspects such as the evolution of the concept; the identity, status and perception of library staff as teachers; the main responsibilities that are assumed and the need for an adequate initial and lifelong education in pedagogical theories and practices. It is concluded that professional reference frameworks are clearly established and that there is a growing international bibliography that facilitates access to research results and documented reflection on the matter. However, there are notable differences in terms of the perception and status of the teaching librarian between the Anglo-Saxon and Spanish spheres, caused both by the different institutional arrangements and by the historical trajectory of the profession in different contexts. This fact, far from assuming an obstacle, it could be understood as an incentive to value this professional facet, as an opportunity to make visible the richness of library work, on which the design of the training activities that are taught from the libraries is based

    Launched in 2020, the WPI Oral Histories began as a pilot program to capture firsthand accounts of WPI-affiliated researchers and scholars that would help demystify catalogue raisonné research and celebrate the efforts of those who work on them. More recently, the WPI Oral Histories have sought to create a more personal frame of reference for understanding artists’ working environments, their oeuvres, and their relevance in a broader art historical context. The WPI Oral Histories program have inspired us to produce a podcast series to explore research topics that indirectly relate to our digital projects
