This article was initiated with the purpose of knowing and understanding the swear words in the Indonesian translation of Surah As-Syams. Because, the Qur'an is a holy book from Allah SWT. So we must understand it. But over time there are various understandings of the words contained in the Qur'an, especially the swear words in Surah As-Syams. The author here uses the hermeneutic theory of Fazlur Rahman. The methodology used is a qualitative method. The swear words is a description of the seriousness of something that is said. So, it is crucial to know and understand the meaning of the swear words. There are several swear words found in Surah As-Syams which will be the object of discussion in this article
Motivasi dan Praktik Spiritual Mahasiswa Mualaf: Studi Kasus di Lingkungan Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya
Spiritual motivation is related to the fulfillment of spiritual needs such as self-actualization and individual tendencies to a particular religion, while spiritual practice is the embodiment of an individual's spiritual soul based on his spiritual awareness and experience. This study aims to determine the motivation and spiritual practice of students who converted to Islam while in college. The research design used is a qualitative case study approach involving four subjects with data collection techniques used are interview, observation and documentation. The results of the study found that two subjects had spiritual motivation before becoming a student, while the spiritual motivation of the other two subjects appeared when they were in college, which was motivated by the impressed factor by the worship practices of the academic community in college, as well as the understanding of Islam obtained from the Kemuhammadiyahan course. The subjects also experienced various dynamics and consequences after converting to Islam. It is known that three subjects received inconvenience treatment from their family and environment in the form of opposition, threat, insult, exile, not being given living expenses until they were kicked out of the house. While one subject gets a positive thing, namely the relationship with herparents is getting more harmonious. The spiritual practice has been carried out with full awareness by the four subjects. One of the four subjects is still actively following spiritual guidance while the other three subjects are no longer receiving spiritual guidance. They rely on manuals obtained when converting to Islam and seek information from the internet whenever they have in-depth questions about Islamic teaching
Rukun Islam Tataran Syariat dan Tarekat dalam Kitab Sirrul Asrar karya Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani
Many people understand that the implementation of the pillars of Islam is only sufficient at the level of the birth of the Shari'a. In fact, the implementation of the pillars of Islam does not just stop at the level of the Shari'a. However, the implementation of the pillars of Islam in the world of Sufism should reach the top level, namely tarekat, essence, and makrifat. One of the books that discuss the implementation of the pillars of Islam at the level of Shari'a and nature is the Book of Sirrul Asrar by Shaykh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani. This qualitative descriptive paper with library studies discusses the implementation of the pillars of Islam in
the Shari'a and tarekat levels from the formulation of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailai. The data analysis in this paper uses content analysis by sorting out the data according to the research objectives. The findings of this study are as follows. First, the common shari'a creed is embedded in outward speech, while the tarekat creed is embedded in essential knowledge. Second, the shari'a prayer appears on the outside starting with Takbir and ending with greetings at a particular time while the tarekat prayer is performed in mind all the time.
Third, sharia fasting is carried out at certain times while tarekat fasting is carried out all the time. Fourth, shari'a zakat is interpreted externally with alms while tarekat zakat is interpreted inwardly with purification of the heart from all lust. Fifth, the sharia pilgrimage is implemented outwardly along with the conditions and pillars to Mecca, while the tarekat pilgrimage is implemented inwardly into self-fulfillment

Data collection techniques were carried out through library research and exploration of primary-secondary data which were then analyzed. There needs to be strict sanctions for the perpetrators of a series of unregistered marriages, because unregistered marriages cause bad legal consequences, such as the occurrence of criminality in the household, the loss of a husband's responsibility, even running away from responsibilities so that it has a negative impact on his wife and children. LPKA is a Technical Implementing Unit which is under and responsible to the Director General of Corrections. In accordance with the rules stated in the Guidelines for the Treatment of Children in LPKA, children who are in LPKA or what they call it ANDIKPAS (Penitentiary Students) have the right to receive services, care, education, and training, guidance and assistance as well as other rights in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations. The research method used in this activity is a qualitative method. The subjects in this research activity were LPKA Class II Palangka Raya. Where the object of research is the implementation of Information Services at LPKA Class II Palangka Raya. Through this activity, students from the Guidance and Counseling Study Program can practice the knowledge that has been obtained on the lecture bench. The results of the implementation of informationservices at LPKA Class II Palangka Raya showed positive results, as seen from the Immediate Assessment (Laiseg) that we provided to ANDIKPAS, 70% of them could understand and accept the information we conveyed, the remaining 30% experienced difficulties because there were several of those who cannot read and write, so special assistance is needed so that they also experience the services we provid

The sex recession is an implementation of worries about household responsibilities. Marriage, which is supposed to be a requirement for the legality of sexual relations, has experienced a shift. Marriage is no longer considered an appropriate institution with a modern lifestyle in several not Muslim-majority countries. The objective of this research is to offer solutions to the problem of a sexual recession that some of the world's most developed countries are currently facing. This type of research is empirical-normative research. The data is sourced from official news reports and reputable journals that reveal the sex recession in developed countries, such as the United States, England, Australia, and Asian countries such as Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and China. Research is being conducted using a phenomenological approach, a conceptual approach, and a philosophical approach. The result of this research are the epistemology of marriage in Islamic law is a solution to overcome the sex recession during the Covid-19 pandemic. Conceptual knowledge and argumentation skills of biology students in animal physiology courses
Argumentation facilitates students’ cognitive activities as they construct scientific knowledge. Studies related to the relationship between conceptual knowledge and argumentation skills in biology learning, especially in animal physiology courses, are still rarely carried out. The primary aim of this study was to determine the correlation between students’ mastery of biology concepts and argumentation skills. A correlational research design was employed. The research sample consisted of 106 fourth semester Biology Education students. The students’ mastery of biology concepts and argumentation skills were evaluated using valid and reliable instruments. Conceptual knowledge measured in this study refers to students’ ability to explain their responses to essay tests on cognitive concepts. Besides, this study also assessed students’ ability to participate in scientific debates and compose written arguments based on the Toulmin's Argumentation Pattern (TAP) framework. This study indicates an association between students’ grasp of biology concepts and their argumentation skills in the ADI class. The regression equation derived from the data analysis is y = 0.608x + 39.05 with a reliability value of 0.179. Meanwhile, there is no strong correlation between conceptual knowledge and argumentation skills in RQA, ADI-Integrated RQA, or traditional classes. This can be influenced by a variety of factors, including students’ inability to adapt and adjust rapidly to the steps introduced into the learning models. Improving argumentation quality can be accomplished through the use of active and innovative learning models or strategies
