Development of a proposal for the manufacture of biomass used for the production process of a psychobiotic
No full textThe objective of this document is the development of a biomass manufacturing proposal for the psychobiotic production process, through the selection of the strain with the greatest psychobiotic potential through the investigation of different criteria of each preselected strain, in order to determine the ideal conditions for the growth of the microorganism and thereby propose a conceptual design of the production process. First, an exhaustive bibliographic review of those microorganisms previously studied in tests for their application in the field of psychobiotics was carried out, identifying Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium species as the most investigated for this type of study. With this, a set of strains of these species were preselected, for which the ease of obtaining, culture medium, pH and temperature, level of development of the strain in the field of study and psychobiotic potential were evaluated. Based on the results obtained in the parameters studied, the strain with the highest score was selected.El objetivo de este documento es el desarrollo de una propuesta de fabricación de biomasa para el proceso de producción de psicobióticos, mediante la selección de la cepa con mayor potencial psicobiótico a través de la investigación de diferentes criterios de cada cepa preseleccionada, con el fin de determinar las condiciones ideales para el crecimiento del microorganismo y con ello proponer un diseño conceptual del proceso de producción. Primeramente, se realizó una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica de aquellos microorganismos estudiados anteriormente en pruebas para su aplicación en el campo de los psicobióticos, identificando a las especies Lactobacillus y Bifidobacterium como las mayormente investigadas para este tipo de estudio. Con ello fueron preseleccionadas un conjunto de cepas de estas especies, para las cuales fueron evaluados la facilidad de obtención, medio de cultivo, pH y temperatura, nivel de desarrollo de la cepa en el campo de estudio y potencial psicobiótico. No full textFor the development of this degree work, the Amazonian Institute of Scientific Research SINCHI was taken as a case study, an entity that has shown great advances in the generation of scientific knowledge, its strategic direction is aligned to guarantee its position as a research center in the country. However, to ensure that the Institute continues working on the generation of knowledge and makes great contributions in the field of science, in the results of the evaluation of the Strategic Plan 2003-2017 and in the construction of the Strategic Plan 2020-2030, have traced a route framed in the strengthening of knowledge management.Para el desarrollo de este trabajo de grado, se tomó como caso de estudio al Instituto Amazónico de Investigaciones Científicas SINCHI, entidad que ha demostrado grandes avances en la generación de conocimiento científico, su direccionamiento estratégico está alineado a garantizar su posicionamiento como centro de investigaciones en el país. No full textGreen roof structures have recently gained great importance due to the different environmental, social and economic benefits they generate. For this reason, this paper analyzes the potential for the construction of a green roof in the administrative building of the Ecocampus headquarters of the Universidad de América. A bibliographic review of the characteristics that a green roof should have for its proper functioning and the different options that exist for the choice of the substrate, vegetation, waterproofing material and the function to be implemented in the green roof is made, it is sought to find all the previous activities that must be taken into account for the construction of the same.Las estructuras de techos verdes han cobrado gran importancia recientemente por los diferentes beneficios ambientales, sociales y económicos que generan. No full textIn the village of San Miguel in the Municipality of Pandi, there is evidence of a situation of electrical loss in which there are continuous failures in the energy transformers due to their electrical recharging, producing cuts even for 3 or 4 days, additionally when the collection of this energy the costs are too high for the population of the village. Taking the above into account, this project presents an improvement plan on the "Finca la María", with the purpose of contributing to the solution to the persistent problem presented in that community. The implemented work is presented in six chapters that describe the development of the proposed objectives. In the first chapter is the approach to the problem and justification of the energy selection implemented in the "La María" farm, presenting a comparison between different solutions that can be implemented, the environmental impact indicators and the justification of the developed solution.En la vereda San Miguel del Municipio de Pandi se evidencia una situación de perdida eléctrica en la cual se produce continuas fallas en los transformadores de energía por la recarga eléctrica de los mismos produciendo cortes incluso por 3 o 4 días, adicional cuando llega el cobro de esta energía los costos son demasiados altos para la población de la vereda. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, en este proyecto se presenta un plan de mejoramiento sobre la “Finca la María”, con el propósito de que contribuya en la solución al problema persistente presentado en esa comunidad. El trabajo implementado se presenta en seis capítulos que describen el desarrollo de los objetivos propuestos. En el primer capítulo se encuentra el planteamiento del problema y justificación de la selección energética implementada en la finca “La María”, presentando un comparativo entre diferentes soluciones que pueden ser implementadas, los indicadores de impacto ambiental y la justificación de la solución desarrollada

No full textColombia is the third largest producer of coffee in the world, during the production process significant amounts of waste are generated, it is estimated that only 5% of the mass of the fruit ends up becoming a cup of coffee; the pulp is by far the main residue of this industry since it represents 43.2% of the fruit on a wet basis, its inadequate handling and disposal is responsible for contamination in rivers and soils throughout the entire national geography; Depending on the level of maturation of the grain, it is possible to obtain substances such as chlorophyll, carotenoids and anthocyanins, which can be used as pigments and dyes in different industries.Colombia es el tercer productor más grande de café en el mundo, durante el proceso de producción se generan importantes cantidades de residuos, se estima que solo el 5% de la masa del fruto termina convirtiéndose en una taza de café; la pulpa es por mucho, el principal residuo de esta industria ya que representa el 43.2% del fruto en base húmeda, su inadecuado manejo y disposición es responsable de la contaminación en ríos y suelos a lo largo de toda la geografía nacional; dependiendo el nivel de maduración del grano es posible obtener sustancias como la clorofila, los carotenoides y las antocianinas, las cuales pueden ser empleadas como pigmentos y colorantes en diferentes industrias

The objective of this work is to identify the leadership styles that should be used by people who are located in the chain of command within organizations and that will be more effective when directing the new workforce. This objective will be carried out through a survey and interviews to identify which factors are key when a Millennial or a Centennial finds themselves within an organization and they feel motivated, feel committed and are more productive within the organization. the same.El trabajo de investigación realizado está orientado a conocer los estilos de liderazgo apropiados para buscar que los trabajadores de generaciones jóvenes como Milennials y Centennials tengan un desempeño sobresaliente dentro de las organizaciones y estén orientados a la generación de valor para los stakeholders, para lo cual se llevó a cabo un estudio cuantitativo no experimental con la toma de datos transversal y para el abordaje del tema se utilizó la técnica del focus group. El objetivo de este trabajo es identificar los estilos de liderazgo que deberán emplear las personas que están situadas en la cadena de mando dentro las organizaciones y que serán más efectivos a la hora de direccionar a la nueva fuerza laboral. Este objetivo se va a llevar a cabo mediante una encuesta y entrevistas donde se identifiquen que factores son claves a la hora que un Milennial o un Centennial se encuentre dentro de una organización y este se sienta motivado, se sienta comprometido y sean más productivos dentro de la misma
