No full textThe present degree work entitled, Analysis of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine on international oil prices and its impact on oil activity in Colombia, is an analytical investigation to seek alternatives to the economic future in the country taking into account the energy transition process where significant economic resources are required for its development and to guarantee the energy sustainability of the country. For the research, four crucial moments were analyzed both at the international and national level: The 2009-2019 baseline, the Covid-19 pandemic, the war between Russia and Ukraine and finally the guidelines of the new national government that for the first time in history of the country is left-wing ideology.El presente trabajo de grado titulado, Análisis del impacto de la pandemia del Covid-19 y la guerra en Ucrania en los precios internacionales del petróleo y su repercusión en la actividad petrolera en Colombia, es una investigación analítica para buscar alternativas al futuro económico en el país teniendo en cuenta el proceso de transición energética donde se requieren recursos económicos importantes para su desarrollo y garantizar el sostenimiento energético del país. No full textThis research process presents the incorporation of a design and modeling of a wastewater treatment plant from an events center located on the outskirts of Bogotá D.C. In general terms, a diagnosis of the quality of the outlet water was carried out, exceeding the permissible limits in chemical oxygen demand (COD) and total suspended solids (TSS), taking into consideration the provisions of resolution 0631 of 2015 for discharges into bodies. water. Starting from this premise, the design was generated, which starts from a pretreatment using a grid system, a primary treatment that is based on a sedimentation mechanism, moving on to a secondary mechanism based on an activated sludge system and finally arriving to the elimination of pathogenic components through chlorination. The aforementioned helped provide a reduction of 48% and 56% with respect to COD and TSS, respectively, after simulating the process through the use of the specialized STOAT software.Este proceso de investigación presenta la incorporación de un diseño y modelamiento de una planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales provenientes de un centro de eventos ubicado a las afueras de Bogotá D.C. En términos generales se realizó un diagnóstico de la calidad del agua de salida, superando los límites permisibles en demanda química de oxígeno (DQO) y sólidos suspendidos totales (SST), tomando en consideración lo establecido en la resolución 0631 de 2015 para vertimientos en cuerpos hídricos. Partiendo de esta premisa, se generó el diseño, el cual parte de un pretratamiento mediante un sistema de rejas, un tratamiento primario que se basa en un mecanismo de sedimentación, pasando a un mecanismo secundario a partir de un sistema de lodos activados y llegando finalmente a la eliminación de componentes patógenos mediante cloración. Lo mencionado anteriormente ayudó a proporcionar una reducción del 48% y 56% con respecto al DQO y SST, respectivamente, posterior a la simulación del proceso mediante el uso del software especializado STOAT

No full textThe project is carried out in order to innovate the production process of the company, increasing the productivity of disinfectant products, for this, the types of machine, the operation and operating conditions of the different types of liquids are taken into account. Once the aforementioned has been implemented, the calculations, selection of elements, construction materials and design proposal are made; seeking to comply and improve the packaging process of the products of the biosafety line. This project was developed in three stages: research, analysis of the components, search for alternatives, design of the components and preparation of the maintenance manual. Autodesk Inventor software was used for the development of each of the system components.El proyecto se realiza con el fin de innovar el proceso de producción de la empresa aumentando la productividad de productos desinfectantes, para esto, se tienen en cuenta los tipos de máquina, el funcionamiento y condiciones de operación los diferentes tipos de líquidos. Implementado lo antes mencionado, se realizan los cálculos, selección de los elementos, materiales de construcción y propuesta del diseño; buscando cumplir y mejorar el proceso de envasado de los productos de la línea de bioseguridad. Este proyecto se desarrolló en tres etapas: investigación, análisis de los componentes, búsqueda de alternativas, diseño de los componentes y elaboración del manual de mantenimiento. No full textThe public space is the city, it is a meeting place for equality, social equity and the place or scene of the collective expression of social and cultural diversity (Borja and Muxí, 2003; Peñalosa, 2005; Pardo, 2008). It is the place where citizens live, interact, share and enjoy the city, its spaces, colors and sounds. The levels of community participation and appropriation as a whole largely define the quality of life of the inhabitants.
Thinking from the user as a protagonist in the public space, the objective when projecting the components of urban design is to ensure that all citizens can remain in these spaces and environments regardless of their physical, sensory or cognitive condition that may conflict with their circulation and permanence in these spaces where the social human aspect is currently heading towards the approach of much more accessible and dynamic cities.
In order to promote the identity of accessible urban design in order to achieve a different experience in public space that aims to guarantee greater appropriation of these universal access spaces, one must begin by guaranteeing total accessibility under equal conditions and incorporating the network of universal design criteria for all.
In the development of public spaces with universal accessibility, the most important components are both human and urban diversity, understanding the latter as the variety of economic and social activities that can be generated in the urban environment and its ability to adapt to complexity and thus improve the quality of life. To achieve this, an effective participation and communication of information is required that allows the acquisition of the necessary resources for its deployment under the normative regulations of urban accessibility, without limiting the user and that in turn allow them to appropriate these meeting places and identity of uses and likewise generate characteristic urban universes.El espacio público es la ciudad, es un lugar de encuentro de igualdad, equidad social y el lugar o escenario de la expresión colectiva de la diversidad social y cultural (Borja y Muxí, 2003; Peñalosa, 2005; Pardo, 2008). Es el lugar donde los ciudadanos viven, se interrelacionan, comparten y gozan de la ciudad, sus espacios, colores y sonidos. Los niveles de participación y apropiación comunitaria en su conjunto definen en gran medida la calidad de vida de los habitantes.
Pensando desde el usuario como protagonista en el espacio público el objetivo al momento de proyectar los componentes del diseño urbano, es conseguir que todos los ciudadanos puedan permanecer en estos espacios y entornos sin importar su condición física, sensorial o cognitiva que pueda conflictuar su circulación y permanencia en estos espacios donde el aspecto humano social en la actualidad se encamina hacia el planteamiento de ciudades mucho más accesibles y dinámicas.
Para promover la identidad del diseño urbano accesible con el fin de lograr diferente experiencia en el espacio público que le apunten a garantizar una mayor apropiación de estos espacios de acceso universales, se debe comenzar por garantizar accesibilidad total en igualdad de condiciones e incorporar la red de criterios de diseños universal para todos y todas.
En el desarrollo de espacios públicos con accesibilidad universal, los componentes más importantes son la diversidad tanto humana como urbana, entendiendo esta última como la variedad de actividades económicas y sociales que se pueden generar en el entorno urbano y su capacidad de adaptarse a la complejidad y con ello mejorar la calidad de vida. Para conseguirlo se requiere una participación y comunicación efectiva de información que permita adquirir los recursos necesarios para su despliegue bajo las regulaciones normativas de accesibilidad urbana, sin limitar al usuario y que a su vez le permitan apropiarse de estos lugares de encuentro e identidad de usos y así mismo generar universos urbanos característicos
Determination of the shelf life of garlic powder from the company El Trébol Rojo

This was possible thanks to the application of physical, chemical and physicochemical tests to the dehydrated garlic product, with which it was possible to determine a range of useful life determined by environmental variations such as humidity and temperature in two different geographical regions (Bogotá and Cali). It was possible to determine a range in the useful life of garlic powder corresponding to 74 - 134 days.Dentro del proceso de pasantía realizado en la compañía “El Trébol Rojo”, empresa del sector alimenticio, se realizó una serie de estudios a uno de sus productos, el ajo deshidratado, con el fin de poder determinar qué factores intervienen en la calidad de este producto y en su durabilidad o vida útil. Lo anterior fue posible gracias a la aplicación de pruebas físicas, químicas y fisicoquímicas al producto ajo deshidratado, con lo cual se pudo determinar un rango de vida útil de este determinado por variaciones ambientales como la humedad y la temperatura en dos regiones geográficas distintas (Bogotá y Cali). Se logró determinar un rango en la vida útil del ajo en polvo correspondiente a 74 – 134 días
Calculation and analysis of the carbon footprint of a flower producing and exporting company in La Sabana de Bogotá
No full textIn the present project, whose main objective was to calculate the carbon footprint produced by a company that produces and exports flowers in the Bogotá savannah, thus analyzing scopes 1, 2 and 3, the latter in regards to distribution, work was carried out hand in hand with the organization Rosas Tesalia S.A, located in the Bogotá savanna, specifically in the municipality of Madrid, Cundinamarca. Using two methodologies for the calculation, first, the Methodological Guide for measuring indicators in the Florverde Impact, Monitoring and Evaluation System, and second, the Green House Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol), the aforementioned objective was achieved. . This calculation gave a value of 7154.12 tons of CO2eq. At the end of the project, a correct identification of the sources of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions was carried out, and from this, together with the calculation of the carbon footprint, different control, compensation or reduction actions were proposed. the same, in order to direct the company towards more sustainable production. These compensation or reduction actions were evaluated by the scoring method proposed by (Gutiérrez & Montoya, 2016) in “The carbon footprint as a tool to achieve sustainable production in a flower crop located in the Sabana de Bogotá – Colombia”.En el presente proyecto, cuyo objetivo principal fue calcular la huella de carbono producida por una empresa productora y exportadora de flores en la sabana de Bogotá, analizando así los alcances 1, 2 y 3, este último en lo respecta a distribución, se trabajó de la mano con la organización Rosas Tesalia S.A, ubicada en la sabana de Bogotá, específicamente en el municipio de Madrid, Cundinamarca. Haciendo uso de dos metodologías para el cálculo, primero, la Guía metodológica para la medición de indicadores en el Sistema de Impacto, Monitoreo y Evaluación Florverde, y segundo, el Green House Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol), se logró cumplir el objetivo mencionado anteriormente. Este cálculo arrojó un valor de 7154,12 toneladas de CO2eq. Al final del proyecto, se realizó una correcta identificación de las fuentes de emisión de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI), y a partir de ello, junto con el cálculo de la huella de carbono, fueron propuestas diferentes acciones de control, compensación o reducción sobre los mismos, con el fin de encaminar a la empresa hacia una producción más sostenible. Estas acciones de compensación o reducción fueron evaluadas por el método de scoring propuesto por (Gutiérrez & Montoya, 2016) en “La huella de carbono como herramienta para lograr una producción sostenible en un cultivo de flores ubicado en la Sabana de Bogotá – Colombia”
