No full textFor the degradation of Basic Fuchsin in wastewater, the use of Spent Coffee Grounds (SCG) was evaluated as a support for an iron catalyst to carry out the oxidation of this contaminant, varying the load of the active phase (2,5, 5 and 10%) and the incorporation method (wet impregnation and impregnation with ultrasound lasting 10 and 30 minutes) and maintaining the charge of coffee at 0.5 g/L. The objective is to determine the catalyst that presents the best physicochemical and catalytic properties at the moment of degrading the dye Basic Fuchsin by the Catalytic Wet Air Oxidation method (CWAO) at moderate conditions: temperature at 25°C, ambient pressure and air flow of 2 mL/min and at the same time to find the effects of using the SCG as a catalytic support.Para la degradación de Fucsina Básica de aguas residuales se evaluó el uso de borra de café como soporte de un catalizador de hierro para llevar a cabo la oxidación de dicho contaminante variando la carga de la fase activa (2,5, 5 y 10%) y el método de incorporación (impregnación húmeda e impregnación con ultrasonido con duración de 10 y 30 minutos) y manteniendo la carga de café en 0,5 g/L. No full textIn this thesis it is presented a digital tool (ANGVEL) that estimates the optimal velocity and the positioning angle of the ESP tool for its correct installation downwards, minimizing mechanical damage of the power cable. For this study, 32 well trajectories were analyzed on the effect that this geometry has on the failure recurrence of the power cable of ESPs. During the analysis it was observed that both angles, inclination and azimuth change, affect the integrity of the tool when installing downwards, reason why it was considered the DLS as the best parameter to recommend velocity.En este trabajo de grado se presenta una herramienta digital que estima la velocidad óptima y el ángulo de bajada del equipo BES para su correcta instalación en fondo, minimizando el daño mecánico del cable de potencia. Para esto se realizó un estudio con 32 pozos del efecto que tiene la trayectoria del pozo sobre la recurrencia de fallas en el cable de potencia de los equipos BES, durante este análisis se observó que tanto la inclinación como el cambio de azimut afectan la integridad del equipo al momento de su instalación en fondo, razón por la cual se consideró como parámetro para la recomendación de velocidad el valor de DLS.Baker Hughe
Obtaining of an ointment based on natural Guatila extract intended for phytotherapeutic use
No full textGuatila is a little-known cucurbitaceae that currently is destined, for the most part, to the feeding of livestock species, which makes it a despised specie despite its multiple properties. This degree work is based on the development of an ointment based on natural extract of guatila, intended for use in the phytotherapy field, in order to exploit one of the many properties of this fruit, related to its antifungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory capacity. This research includes the sequential development of different stages, ranging from the collection and analysis of theoretical data to experimentation at the laboratory level and the processing of results, which allow the appropriate selection of the best method to obtain the guatila extract and the establishment of the optimal conditions for the production of the phytotherapeutic preparation, considering the main factors of each unit operation involved and the use of natural components. Qualitative and quantitative analyzes of the raw materials and the final product are considered, among which the quantification of flavonoids, as the active principle of the ointment, responsible for granting the product healing properties, stands out. On the other hand, and by using the results at the laboratory scale, the process conditions were established at the pilot plant level and subsequently the most suitable equipment were selected and sized for the main stages. EduleCare ointment was also evaluated through the execution of an acceptance panel, whose results show the approval of the public and directly guarantee the quality of the product.La guatila es una cucurbitácea poco conocida que en la actualidad es destinada, en su mayoría, a la alimentación de especies pecuarias, lo que la convierte en una especie menospreciada a pesar de sus múltiples propiedades. El presente trabajo de grado se fundamenta en el desarrollo de una pomada a base de extracto natural de guatila destinada al uso en el campo de la fitoterapia, con el fin de explotar una de las tantas propiedades de este fruto, relacionada con su capacidad antifúngica, antibacteriana y antiinflamatoria. Esta investigación comprende el desarrollo secuencial de diferentes etapas, que abarcan desde la recopilación y el análisis de datos teóricos hasta la experimentación a nivel de laboratorio y el procesamiento de resultados, que permiten la selección adecuada del mejor método de obtención del extracto de guatila y el establecimiento de las condiciones óptimas para la producción del preparado fitoterapéutico, considerando los factores fundamentales de cada operación unitaria involucrada y la inclusión de componentes naturales. Se consideran análisis cualitativos y cuantitativos de las materias primas y del producto final, dentro de los que destaca la cuantificación de flavonoides, como principio activo de la pomada encargado de otorgar las propiedades curativas a esta. Por otra parte, y mediante el uso de los resultados a escala de laboratorio, se establecieron las condiciones de proceso a nivel de planta piloto y posteriormente se seleccionaron y dimensionaron los equipos más adecuados para las principales etapas. La pomada EduleCare también fue evaluada mediante la ejecución de un panel de aceptación, cuyos resultados muestran la aprobación del público y de manera directa garantizan la calidad del producto

No full textThe present work has as main objective the decrease in the pollutant load of the dyes associated with the staining of large (Violet crystal, fuchsin) and methylene blue of wastewater from the microbiology laboratory of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana through the approach of an activated carbon adsorption system obtained from tire pyrolysis and encapsulated in sodium alginate. Two assemblies of adsorption systems were raised, both performed in batch operation mode. The first involves the use of a beaker and the second with the use of glass instruments (Columns) in order to evaluate an approach to a column adsorption system.El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal la disminución en la carga contaminante de los colorantes asociados a la tinción de gran (Cristal violeta, fucsina) y azul de metileno de las aguas residuales provenientes del laboratorio de microbiología de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana mediante el planteamiento de un sistema de adsorción con carbón activado obtenido de la pirólisis de llantas y encapsulado en alginato de sodio. Se plantearon dos montajes de sistemas de adsorción ambos realizados en modo de operación batch. No full textThe monthly hydrocarbons control process is a legal and mandatory process for all the oil companies that currently operate in Colombia, said process is vital for the royalty payment process and compliance with the law, although it is a mandatory operation, the inspection activity Many times it can lead to misinterpretation and loss of data in addition to the high investment of time and resources due to extensive lines of data that must be stored and the high frequency of physically carrying out various ministerial orders in the field. This low efficiency in the hydrocarbon control process is due to the fact that a digital medium is not used directly to optimize these processes. That is why a digital tool offers a friendly interface where control data can be entered easily, where processes are optimized in real time, where data entered into the platform has a security format to prevent are altered, and also that they obtain the current legal format of current control that dictates the ANH. In this case an app was developed which works with Android giving the possibility to a common user, to write the data of a ministerial order. With a link to a database with mass use scopes for a large number of users and data for the storage of data entered into the digital application; Based on the prices of the application's cost and benefit study, it results in a moderate price for its implementation, with a broad scope of more than 6 million files for ministerial order format of a monthly report.El proceso de fiscalización mensual de hidrocarburos es un proceso legal y obligatorio para todas las petroleras que operan en Colombia actualmente, dicho proceso es vital para el proceso de pago de regalías y cumplimiento de la ley , aunque es una operación obligatoria , la actividad de fiscalización muchas veces puede conllevar a malinterpretación y perdida de datos además de la alta inversión de tiempo y recursos debido a extensas líneas de datos que se deben almacenar y la alta frecuencia de diligenciar en físico distintas órdenes ministeriales en campo. Esta baja eficiencia en el proceso de fiscalización de hidrocarburos se debe a que no se utiliza directamente un medio digital para optimizar dichos procesos. Es por ello que una herramienta digital ofrece una interfaz amigable en donde se puedan ingresar los datos de fiscalización fácilmente, dónde se optimicen los procesos en tiempo real, en dónde los datos que se ingresan a la plataforma cuenten con un formato de seguridad para evitar que sean alterados, y además que obtengan el formato legal actual vigente de fiscalización que dicta la ANH. En este caso se desarrolló una app el cual se trabaja con Android dando la posibilidad a un usuario común, de escribir los datos de una orden ministerial. Con un enlace a una base de datos con alcances de uso masivo para un número amplio de usuarios y de datos para el almacenamiento de los datos ingresados a la aplicación digital; basado en los precios del estudio de costos y beneficios de la aplicación da como resultado un precio moderado para su implementación, con un alcance amplio de más de 6 millones de archivos para formato de orden ministerial de un reporte mensual.Acipe

The urban approach is developed in order to meet those infrastructural, economic and social needs to generate a dynamism in the region that allows a macro connection with the country. The developed and proposed equipments are interconnected by means of nuclei and satellites that allow to be replicated in the region looking for innovative strategies that supply the exposed needs. The regional and sectoral SWOT analyzes reflect the problems and the predominant needs of the sector. In general levels, the proposal is developed with the parameters and regulations studied and evaluated by the sector and the region. It is developed as a partial plan to generate a pattern of change in a main municipality, not only at the municipal level, but at general levels. where it is developed with economic, social and environmental levels in favor of the growth of the municipality and the region with the proposed master plan.El desarrollo del plan parcial y las unidades de actuación regionales, de sector y locales sugeridas, parten de las necesidades y problemáticas regionales, previamente analizadas. El planteamiento urbano se desarrolla con el fin de suplir esas necesidades infraestructurales, económicas y sociales para generar un dinamismo en la región que permita una conexión macro con el país. Los equipamientos desarrollados y planteados se interconectan por medio de núcleos y satélites que permiten ser replicados en la región buscando estrategias innovadoras que suplen las necesidades expuestas. No full textIn the present work, the technical and administrative restructuring was carried out in the company Gold Flower Ltda, producer and marketer of tea and aromatics in order to determine the current situation and generate improvement actions in its technical and administrative processes. Various industrial engineering tools were applied such as method engineering, operations management and production, logistics, administration and financial analysis in order to diagnose the company in its processes through different chapters contained as diagnosis, technical study, administrative study and financial study that were developed over six months, time necessary to analyze the processes and procedures and propose improvement actions. The project was developed directly at the company and at the Fundación Universidad de América.En el presente trabajo, se realizó la reestructuración técnico administrativa en la empresa Gold Flower Ltda, productora y comercializadora de té y aromáticas con el fin de determinar la situación actual y generar acciones de mejora en sus procesos técnicos y administrativos. Se aplicaron diversas herramientas de ingeniería industrial como la ingeniería de métodos, gerencia y producción de operaciones, logística, administración y análisis financiero con el fin de diagnosticar a la empresa en sus procesos a través de diferentes capítulos contenidos como diagnóstico, estudio técnico, estudio administrativo y estudio financiero que fueron desarrollados a lo largo de seis meses, tiempo necesario para analizar los procesos y procedimientos y proponer acciones de mejora.
