Proposal for the development of a nutraceutical derived from the hydrolate as a coproduct of the hydrodistillation of the Rosa centifolia L
No full textThe purpose of this project is to harness the residue from the the distillation of the rose water vapor through the development and formulation of a nutraceutical-functional beverage taking advantage of the organic origin of the raw material and the presence of antioxidants reported in the literature for the R. centifolia. To achieve this, it begins with the qualitative and quantitative characterization of the rose hydrolate concentrate by means of physical and chemical tests in which the existence of flavonoid-type polyphenolic molecules, specifically the content of the flavonoid quercetin, highly valued for its antioxidant activity , anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antibiotic and against cancer.Este proyecto tiene como finalidad el aprovechamiento del residuo de la destilación por arrastre de vapor de agua de rosas mediante el desarrollo y formulación de una bebida nutracéutica-funcional aprovechando el origen orgánico de la materia prima y la presencia de antioxidantes reportados en la literatura para la R. centifolia. Para lograrlo, se inicia con la caracterización cualitativa y cuantitativa del concentrado de hidrolato de rosas por medio de pruebas físicas y químicas en las que se identifica la existencia de moléculas polifenólicas tipo flavonoides, específicamente el contenido del flavonoide quercetina, altamente valorados por su actividad antioxidante, antiinflamatoria, antialérgica, antibiótica y contra el cáncer

Microcredit in Colombia: an analysis from its evolution and contribution to the decrease of poverty indicators during the period 2008-2018
No full textThe microcredit in Colombia began to originate in the mid-1980s with the objective of providing financial support for people with low income, in order to help alleviate poverty. For this reason, it has become a mechanism. In favor of financial inclusion since it fosters the country's economic growth, and, in the same way, positively influences the well-being, quality of life and income of the population. Based on the above, it can be said that microcredit has become one of the factors that contribute to an improvement in the country's poverty levels because, by granting resources to the most vulnerable population, it would be impacting directly in improving your income. Thus, because as evidenced in the development of this research, the relationship between these variables under study is positive since there is an inverse correlation, that is, one variable would be explained with respect to the other. In a nutshell, as the number of microcredit disbursements increases, it will influence the relative decrease in the indicators of monetary and multidimensional poverty both in rural areas and in the headwaters of the country.El microcrédito en Colombia se comenzó a originar a mediados de los años 80 con el objetivo de brindar apoyo financiero de fácil acceso a personas de bajos recursos, con el fin de contribuir a mitigar la pobreza, por tal motivo, se ha convertido en un mecanismo partidario de la inclusión financiera puesto que fomenta el crecimiento económico del país, y, de la misma manera, influye positivamente en el bienestar, calidad de vida e ingresos de la población. Con base en lo anterior, se puede decir que el microcrédito se ha constituido en uno de los factores que aportan para que se presente una mejora en los niveles de pobreza del país debido que, al otorgar recursos a la población más vulnerable, se estaría impactando directamente en el mejoramiento de sus ingresos. De esta manera, debido a que tal y como se evidenció en el desarrollo de esta investigación, la relación entre estas variables objeto de estudio es positiva puesto que existe una correlación inversa, es decir, se estaría explicando una variable con respecto a la otra. En pocas palabras, a medida que aumente el número de desembolsos de microcrédito va a influir en que se presente una disminución relativa de los indicadores de pobreza monetaria y multidimensional tanto en las zonas rurales como en las cabeceras del país

Design of a system for the lifting of paper rolls of a ton of the Legis Company
No full textThe research project began with the identification of the problem in the LEGIS Company, subsequently through visits a diagnosis was made of the current process for the cutting and rewinding of paper, then an analysis of the different systems that allow the development of the system was developed. Through the information provided by the operators and engineers of the LEGIS Company, the parameters and requirements that the system requires in order to obtain an optimal process were taken into account. Based on these data, several alternatives were proposed for the lifting of paper rolls, and when obtaining the alternative that best matches the requirements, a detailed design of the lifting system and the structure it needs to be able to support the load was made. By means of finite elements the calculated data of the system and the structure previously selected were evaluated in order to elaborate the design, location, manufacturing and assembly plans. The project aimed at the company LEGIS was necessary to carry out the installation, operation, maintenance and safety manuals. Finally, the environmental impact of the project was determined and financially evaluated for its feasibility.El proyecto de investigación comenzó con la identificación del problema en la empresa LEGIS, posteriormente mediante visitas se realizó un diagnóstico del proceso actual para el corte y rebobinado de papel, luego se elaboró un análisis de los diferentes sistemas que permiten el desarrollo del sistema. Mediante la información suministrada por los operarios e ingenieros de la empresa LEGIS se tuvo en cuenta los parámetros y requerimientos que el sistema requiere para que poder obtener un proceso óptimo. Con base a estos datos se plantearon varias alternativas para el levantamiento de rollos de papel, y al obtener la alternativa que mejor se acople a los requerimientos, se realizó un diseño detallado del sistema de levantamiento y de la estructura que necesita para poder soportar la carga. Por medio de elementos finitos se evaluaron los datos calculados del sistema y la estructura anteriormente seleccionada para de esta manera elaborar los planos de diseño, ubicación, fabricación y ensamble. El proyecto que va dirigido a la empresa LEGIS fue necesario la realización de los manuales de instalación, operación, mantenimiento y seguridad. Para finalizar, se determinó el impacto ambiental que género el proyecto y se evaluó financieramente para su viabilidad.Legi

No full textThe present project corresponds to the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSAS) in the Texisexy S.A.S. company, based on regulations and requirements established mainly in the Decree 1072 of 2015, the Resolution 0312 of 2019 and the different standards related to this topic. In order to make a correct and adequate implementation, a method is established that is known as the PDVA cycle (Plan, Do, Verify, and Act). This cycle allows a logical development, organized and focused on the continuous improvement of each of the processes of the Management Systems (MS) and in each of the activities carried out within the company. Initially a diagnosis is made to the company, in order to establish the conditions and percentage of compliance against the regulations related to the OHSAS, where it yields a very critical and worrying result since its level of compliance according to the diagnosis is 21% and a prior and urgent improvement plan was required. In this way the matrix of legal requirements begins to be established to establish which generic and specific rules are to be applied to the company, in the same way its organizational structure was organized, the construction of the process map and function manuals. OHSAS policies and objectives were developed.El presente proyecto corresponde a la implementación del Sistema de Gestión de la Seguridad y la Salud en el Trabajo (SG-SST) en la empresa Textisexy S.A.S., basándose en la normatividad y requisitos establecidos principalmente en el Decreto 1072 de 2015, la Resolución 0312 de 2019 y en las diferentes normas relacionadas a este tema. Con la finalidad de realizar una implementación correcta y adecuada, se establece una metodología que se conoce como el ciclo PHVA (Planear, Hacer, Verificar y Actuar). No full textThe use of peptides as potential molecules for clinical treatments, attracts the attention of pharmaceutical companies interested in expanding their market, making use of low-cost and high-performance technological tools. Therefore, it is of interest in this work to show the benefits offered by the spot synthesis technique in obtaining peptide libraries and suggest this as an easy-to-implement technique, which allows predicting the viability of the peptide in the process of interest. The results obtained made it possible to obtain a peptide library and the Spot ELISA technique was suggested as a method of recognition of the sequences according to the presence of critical amino acids in the peptide structure, key to their activity in pharmacological processes.El uso de péptidos como moléculas potenciales para tratamientos clínicos está siendo considerado por las compañías farmacéuticas interesadas en ampliar el mercado de estas, mediante el uso de herramientas tecnológicas de bajo costo y alto rendimiento. Esta investigación muestra los beneficios que ofrece la técnica spot síntesis en la obtención de bibliotecas de péptidos; técnica de fácil implementación que permite prever la viabilidad del péptido en el proceso de interés. Los resultados obtenidos posibilitaron la obtención de una biblioteca de péptidos. Este estudio sugiere la técnica spot ELISA como un método de reconocimiento de las secuencias según la presencia de aminoácidos críticos en la estructura peptídica, claves para su actividad en procesos farmacológico
