Development of a proposal for the efficient use of wastewater from the RWTP in Pharmetique Labs S.A.
No full textIn this project, a proposal is made in order to give efficient use to the water resources treated in the RWTP of the company Pharmetique Labs SA, having as its main purpose to reuse these waters in processes that do not involve the production process, reducing the concentration of phenolic pollutants from 0.32 mg/L to 0.002 mg/L to meet quality parameters and generate competitiveness at an environmental level for the company. For this, the tertiary treatment of ion exchange resins is selected at a theoretical level by means of a decision matrix, comparing it with other widely used treatments for the removal of phenols such as advanced ozone oxidation and carbon adsorption; analyzing the selection criteria for each of them. The evaluation of this treatment is carried out theoretically comparing the use of two types of resins where the results that are analyzed are the removal percentages, which range from 99.96% to 74.2% for Amberlyst A26 OH (strong anionic) and from 65.7% to 22.1% for Amberlite IRA-67 (weak anionic), depending on the variation in concentrations between 1 mg/L and 200 mg/L of the phenol pollutant; where, the effect of the initial concentration, the recirculation time and the pH of the sample is studied; and thus, the final concentration of phenols is determined at a theoretical level for the company Pharmetique Labs S.A., which is 0.000128 mg/L. Finally, it is proposed to implement an exchange column using strong anionic type resin such as Ambersep 900 OH, taking into account the design conditions and investment costs to reuse the treated water in pre-cleaning processes of the equipment in the syrup or emulsion manufacturing area, generating a positive environmental impact.En el presente proyecto se realiza una propuesta con el fin de dar un uso eficiente a los recursos hídricos tratados en la PTAR de la empresa Pharmetique Labs S.A., teniendo como propósito principal reusar estas aguas en procesos que no involucren el proceso productivo, disminuyendo la concentración de los contaminantes fenólicos de 0.32 mg/L a 0.002 mg/L para cumplir con los parámetros de calidad y generar una competitividad a nivel ambiental para la empresa. Para esto, se selecciona el tratamiento terciario resinas de intercambio iónico a nivel teórico mediante una matriz de decisión, comparándolo con otros tratamientos muy utilizados para la remoción de fenoles tales como la oxidación avanzada con ozono y adsorción con carbono; analizando los criterios de selección para cada uno de ellos. La evaluación de este tratamiento se realiza de manera teórica comparando el uso de dos tipos de resinas donde los resultados que se analizan son los porcentajes de remoción, los cuales van desde el 99.96% hasta el 74.2% para la Amberlyst A26 OH (aniónica fuerte) y de 65.7% hasta el 22.1% para la Amberlite IRA-67 (aniónica débil), según la variación en las concentraciones entre 1 mg/L y 200 mg/L del contaminante fenol; donde, se estudia el efecto de la concentración inicial, el tiempo de recirculación y el pH de la muestra; y así, se determina la concentración final de fenoles a nivel teórico para la empresa Pharmetique Labs S.A., la cual es de 0.000128 mg/L. Finalmente, se propone implementar una columna de intercambio utilizando la resina de tipo aniónica fuerte como lo es la Ambersep 900 OH, teniendo en cuenta las condiciones de diseño y costos de inversión para dar reúso a las aguas tratadas en procesos de prelimpieza de los equipos en el área de fabricación de jarabes o emulsiones, generando un impacto ambiental positivo

No full textThis document presents a proposal for implementation plan for an Integrated Management System under the standards ISO 9001:2015 e ISO 45001:2018, a study conducted for the human management processes consulting company Experticia Potencial Humano EU. The stages of realization of this proposal consist of three steps that will fulfill the general purpose of the case study. The first of these consists in identifying through a diagnosis, the situation of the company against compliance with the requirements of the standards mentioned above. As next step, an analysis is performed on the results found in the diagnosis and a specific activity plan for the organization is proposed, in order to comply with the requirements established by each standard and reinforce the actions that the company currently executes; finally, a benefit-cost analysis is developed which provides an approximate measure of the relationship between the costs of proposal design and implementation and its benefits, whose purpose is to give a clear vision to the organization for decision making regarding the viability of the implementation of the Integrated Management System. The study in question aims to provide the organization with clarity about the methods to be used, facilitating the beginning of the planning stage of the Integrated Management System and promoting organizational development.Este trabajo presenta una propuesta de implementación de un Sistema de Gestión Integrado bajo las normas ISO 9001:2015 e ISO 45001:2018; un estudio realizado para la empresa consultora en procesos de gestión humana Experticia Potencial Humano EU. Las etapas de realización de esta propuesta constan de tres pasos que permitirán dar cumplimiento al propósito general del estudio de caso. El primero de ellos consiste en identificar mediante un diagnóstico, la situación de la empresa frente al cumplimiento de los requisitos de las normas mencionadas anteriormente. Como paso siguiente, se realiza un análisis de los resultados encontrados en el diagnóstico y se propone un plan de actividades específico para la organización, con el fin de dar cumplimiento a los requerimientos establecidos por cada norma y reforzar las acciones que actualmente la empresa ejecuta; por último, se desarrolla un análisis beneficio-costo, el cual proporciona una medida aproximada de la relación que existe entre los costos del diseño de la propuesta e implementación y sus beneficios; cuya finalidad es dar una visión clara a la organización para la toma de decisiones en cuanto a la viabilidad de la implementación del Sistema de Gestión Integrado. Neoprotectionism, a new world trend?
No full textIn this document an investigation is carried out on the evolution that protectionism has had. To make this possible, in the first chapter, the main economic approaches from mercantilism are reviewed, although it is worth noting, the economy begins to be studied in depth from Adam Smith and the Classical School. In addition, it explains the difference between classical protectionism and neoprotectionism. In the second chapter the main events in the crises of the United States, China, the European Union and Colombia are reviewed with respect to the measures they have taken and that have affected international trade until 2015. Meanwhile, in the third chapter, there is a review of the most important events at present, such as Brexit, China's trade agreement with the United States and the historic agreement between the European Union and MERCOSUR. Finally, the respective conclusions were made on the information presented and some recommendations are given for future studies.En el presente documento se realiza una investigación sobre la evolución que ha tenido el proteccionismo. Para hacer esto posible, en el primer capítulo se revisan los principales planteamientos económicos desde el mercantilismo, aunque vale la pena resaltar que, la economía se empieza a estudiar en profundidad desde Adam Smith y la Escuela Clásica. Además, se explica la diferencia entre el proteccionismo clásico y el neoproteccionismo. Ya en el segundo capítulo se revisan los principales acontecimientos en las economías de Estados Unidos, China, la Unión Europa y Colombia con respecto a las medidas que han tomado y que han afectado el comercio internacional hasta el año 2015. Mientras tanto, en el tercer capítulo, se hace un repaso de los hechos más importantes en la actualidad como lo es el Brexit, el acuerdo comercial de China con Estados Unidos y el histórico acuerdo entre la Unión Europea y MERCOSUR. Finalmente, se realizan las respectivas conclusiones sobre la información presentada y se dan algunas recomendaciones para futuros

Fracking as an alternative for the national economy.
No full textFracking is a hydrocarbon extraction technique that consists of injecting a fluid specially designed to break the rock in the subsoil and improve the permeability of the reservoir to increase the production of a project. Although this technique was invented in the 80`s, it reached its peak in recent years due to the fact that great hydrocarbon powers such as the United States began to implement it in great magnitudes to achieve its self-sufficiency, until it became the first oil producer worldwide. In the same way, countries that previously demanded a large quantity of hydrocarbons from abroad, such as China, and countries that are not so large but whose economy depends on oil, such as Chile or Argentina, begin to implement this technique, greatly increasing the offer of this natural resource. As a consequence, this produced that the price of a barrel of oil decreased significantly, putting the industry in crisis in countries that depend economically on a large percentage of oil exports, such as Colombia, generating a worrying scenario for the national economy, since all this devalues the Peso. with respect to the Dollar.El fracking es una técnica de extracción de hidrocarburos que consiste en inyectar un fluido especialmente diseñado para romper la roca en el subsuelo y mejorar la permeabilidad del yacimiento para aumentar la producción de un proyecto. Esta técnica aunque fue inventada en los 80`s, alcanzo su auge en los últimos años debido a que grandes potencias hidrocarburiferas como Estados Unidos, empezó a implementarla en grandes magnitudes para lograr su autoabastecimiento, hasta convertirse en el primer productor de petrolero a nivel mundial. De igual manera países que antes demandaban gran cantidad de hidrocarburos del exterior como China, y países no tan grandes pero que su economía depende del petróleo como Chile o Argentina, empezar a implementar esta técnica incrementando de gran manera la oferta de este recurso natural. Como consecuencia este produjo que el precio del barril de petróleo disminuyera significativamente poniendo en crisis la industria en países que dependen económicamente en un gran porcentaje de la exportación de petróleo, como Colombia generando un panorama preocupante para la economía nacional ya que todo esto devalúa el Peso con respecto al Dólar
Evaluation to improve injectivity in well for final water disposal in an oil field using modified organic inhibitors
No full textThis work is developed based on the evaluation of an organic inhibitor that seeks to increase the flow of water injected to the final disposal well C3, which brings a low injection rate due to the possible presence of substances that block the passage of the fluid to the receptor formation, recurrent event in disposal wells with some hydrocarbon load; It is necessary to verify the performance with the application of a treatment that is economical and effective, in this way to recover the properties of the rock of the formation to extend the life of the injection well. The history of the injection system of the station from January 1, 2019, the operating conditions of the well and the injection system is analyzed; Based on a bibliographic review and a composition analysis, a discussion is made about the choice of the treatment product, and the phenomena that interact to achieve the separation of the deposit that is accumulated in the middle of the system. The well test is carried out with the treatment product and the respective monitoring of the variables involved in the process, to improve injectivity. Likewise, the considerations or factors that generated the damage to the formation and the effectiveness or not of the treatment product, its composition and reactions with the aqueous medium and with the rock are evaluated.Este trabajo se desarrolla con base en la evaluación de un inhibidor orgánico que busca incrementar el flujo de agua inyectada al pozo de disposición final C3, el cual trae un bajo índice de inyectividad por la posible presencia de sustancias que bloquean el paso del fluido a la formación receptora, evento recurrente en pozos de disposición con alguna carga de hidrocarburos; se requiere verificar el desempeño con la aplicación de un tratamiento que sea económico y efectivo, de este modo recuperar las propiedades de la roca de la formación para extender la vida del pozo inyector. Se analiza el histórico del sistema de inyección de la estación desde el 1 de enero del 2019, las condiciones de operación del pozo y el sistema de inyección; a partir de una revisión bibliográfica y un análisis de composición se hace una discusión sobre la elección del producto tratante, y los fenómenos que interactúan para alcanzar la separación del depósito que se encuentra acumulado en el medio del sistema. Se hace la prueba de pozo con el producto tratante y el respectivo seguimiento las variables involucradas en el proceso, de mejora de la inyectividad. Así mismo se evalúan las consideraciones o factores que generaron el daño a la formación y la efectividad o no del producto tratante, su composición y reacciones con el medio acuoso y con la roca

As a result, the evaluation parameters established the evaluation parameters of the components and operations of vehicles with hybrid technology and it is established that it will be done on light vehicles within which cars, trucks, pick-ups, urban SUVs and vehicles that have single tire on its rear axle.Para desarrollar el presente proyecto de grado fue necesario evaluar, conocer y analizar detalladamente las necesidades de la empresa Cesvi Colombia S.A., en cuanto su principal funcionamiento. De esta manera se pudo establecer cuáles eran los problemas que se presentaban en los procesos que tienen los vehículos híbridos eléctricos y cuál sería la solución. Conociendo la falta de información sobre la tecnología híbrida a nivel nacional se determina una revisión detallada para poder brindar informes directos a sus inversionistas para crear pólizas contra todo riesgo para esta clase de vehículos. Based on these precepts, taking into account the institutional educational project (PEI), the guidelines given by the CNA, a self-assessment model is proposed that, when implemented, the institution is enabled for a possible certification that would lead to High Quality Accreditation. of the professional programs of the engineering faculty.En aspectos de calidad y productividad a nivel mundial se ha notado grandes cambios, sobre todo en las últimas décadas donde realza la competitividad de algunos sectores y uno de ellos es el educativo que, con su compromiso de buscar y seguir modelos de gestión administrativa y novedosa, consolida una tendencia a la innovación, desarrollo e investigación que permite apalancar el crecimiento y desarrollo de los países.
