Design of an air purification system in a cyclist’s helmet
No full textAir quality is a topic that is highly discussed by the Colombian population, especially by bicycle users who daily ride their bikes to go to their jobs in the city of Bogotá. The degree work is focused on the creation of a system that will purify the air received by the bicycle user in the city of Bogotá, where an analysis of the air quality in the Colombian capital is carried out to determine which are the nocive particles present in the air and the corresponding methodology is selected for the design of the purification system, which it will be divided into five subsystems, in order to identify each function that the air purification system performs; the structural subsystem, as its name says, will support the whole structure of the air purification system composed of a device in charge to receive and capture the air , then the purification system will accomplish its important function of filtering and purifying the air to be transported to the mask, delegated to deliver the purified air to the user. In addition, the efficiency is evaluated by using a fluid software, followed by their respective planes, manuals and a financial evaluation of what it would cost to develop and manufacture the Project. Finally, a positive impact on health is generated by preventing critical respiratory diseases, caused mainly by harmful particles suspended in the air in the city of Bogotá.La calidad del aire es un tema profundamente hablado en la población colombiana, en especial por los usuarios de bicicleta que se transportan diariamente hacia su trabajo en la ciudad de Bogotá. El trabajo de grado está enfocado en la creación de un sistema que purificará el aire que recibe el usuario de bicicleta en la ciudad de Bogotá, donde se realiza un análisis de la calidad del aire en la capital colombiana para determinar cuáles son las partículas nocivas presentes en el aire y se selecciona la metodología correspondiente para el diseño del sistema purificador, que estará dividido en cinco subsistemas, con el fin de identificar cada función que realiza el sistema purificador de aire; el subsistema estructural, como su nombre lo dice, soportara la estructura total del sistema de purificación de aire compuesto por un dispositivo encargado de recibir y captar el aire para que a su vez el sistema de purificación cumpla su función importante de filtrar y purificar el aire para ser transportado hacia la máscara, delegada para entregar el aire purificado al usuario. Además, se evalúa la eficiencia por medio de la utilización de un software de fluidos, seguido de sus respectivos planos, manuales y una evaluación financiera de lo que costaría la realización y fabricación del proyecto. Por último, se genera un impacto positivo en la salud previniendo enfermedades respiratorias agudas, causadas principalmente por las partículas nocivas suspendidas en el aire en la ciudad de Bogotá

No full textThroughout the following work, a diagnostic exercise is developed and later a proposal for an environmental management program is proposed, which seeks to implement the bases for the ISO 14001 standard, in a company dedicated to the design, construction and assembly of oil & gas production facilities, called PETROSAN SERVICES S.A.S. The investigation as a starting point was carried out by applying an initial environmental review, through checklists focused on environmental activities and implementation of the environmental management system. The checklists were completed by the organization’s senior management. As a result, the priority environmental aspects due to the pollution generated by the company's activities were identified, thus following what is established by the ISO 14001 standard, as the basis for the implementation of the project. Subsequently, the proposal for the implementation of the environmental management program was made, based on three main aspects, which are, reduction of soil contamination, disposal and efficient use of water and adequate disposal of solid waste.A lo largo del siguiente trabajo, se desarrolla un ejercicio de diagnóstico y posterior planteamiento de propuesta de un programa de gestión ambiental, que busca implementar las bases para la norma ISO 14001, en una empresa dedicada al diseño, construcción y montaje de facilidades de producción Oil & Gas, llamada PETROSAN SERVICES S.A.S. La indagación como punto de partida se llevó a cabo mediante la aplicación de una revisión ambiental inicial, a través de listas de chequeo enfocadas en las actividades ambientales y de implementación del sistema de gestión ambiental. Las listas de chequeo fueron diligenciadas por el personal de la alta dirección de la organización. Como resultado se identificaron los aspectos ambientales prioritarios debido a la contaminación generada por las actividades de la empresa, siguiendo así lo establecido por la norma ISO 14001, como la base para la puesta en marcha del proyecto. Posteriormente, fue realizada la propuesta de implementación del programa de gestión ambiental, basada en tres aspectos principales que son, reducción de la contaminación del suelo, disposición y uso eficiente del agua y disposición adecuada de residuos sólidos

A series of analyzes has been carried out starting from the departmental territory of Guaviare, where it is possible to deduce the most important problem in this region of an economic nature, which has consequences for the social and ecological system, the latter being one of the great strengths of this department, since it has great wealth of fauna and flora. Therefore, there is the master plan: Agro-environmental connection and restoration, proposing two polygons, one productive and the other ecological, which benefit from a multimodal connection node located in the municipality of San José del Guaviare. It is in this urban center where the partial plan, Multimodal Connection Node, is born, with the sole purpose of generating a link between this environment and the rest of the country. In the partial plan, 3 projects with a regional impact are proposed: Airport, Logistics Platform and River Port, the last being the project to be presented in this book.El documento desarrolla el planteamiento de plan maestro, plan parcial y proyecto arquitectónico. Se ha realizado una serie de análisis que parten desde el territorio departamental del Guaviare, donde se logra deducir que el problema más importante de esta región es de carácter económico, el cual trae consecuencias en el sistema social y ecológico, este último es una de las grandes fortalezas de este departamento, dado que cuenta con gran riqueza de fauna y flora. Por lo anterior, se plantea el plan maestro: Conexión y restauración agro-ambiental, proponiendo dos polígonos uno productivo y otro ecológico que se benefician de un nodo de conexión multimodal ubicado en el municipio de San José del Guaviare. Es en este centro urbano donde nace el plan parcial, Nodo de conexión multimodal, con el único fin de generar la vinculación del este entorno con el resto del país. Determination of the relation between the petrophysical and production parameters through an analysis of sensitivity to four clusters of the Imperial Field
No full textDue to the high lithological heterogeneity of the reservoir, predicting the productive behavior of wells drilled in this area is a challenge for engineers and geologists working in the field. In addition, the fact that the reservoir is pushed by an active aquifer, which conditions the well in its different stages, in drilling any irruption or proximity to the WOC or an out of phase completion can result in a high water cut in production and during production phase the BSW is a known factor that is directly proportional to time. In order to improve the predictive capability of production of the wells, this thesis aims to identify relationships between the petrophysical and the production parameters, from a sample of wells in the field. Finally, a model of equations was proposed in which from the selected petrophysical parameters it is possible to predict the production parameters evaluated with a degree of certainty.Debido a la alta heterogeneidad litológica del yacimiento, predecir el comportamiento productivo de los pozos perforados en esta área es un reto para los ingenieros y geólogos que trabajan en el campo. Además, se suma el hecho de que el yacimiento es empujado por un acuífero activo, el cual condiciona al pozo en sus distintas etapas, en la perforación cualquier irrupción o cercanía al WOC o un completamiento desfasado, puede repercutir en un alto corte de agua en la producción y durante la producción el BSW es un factor conocido que es directamente proporcional al tiempo.
Con el fin de mejorar la capacidad predictiva de producción de los pozos se desarrolló el presente trabajo de grado, que busca identificar relaciones entre los parámetros petrofísicos y los de producción a partir de una muestra de pozos del campo. Finalmente, se planteó un modelo de ecuaciones en las cuales a partir de los parámetros petrofísicos seleccionados es posible predecir los parámetros de producción evaluados con un grado de certidumbre.Frontera Energ
Technical - financial evaluation of a biodigestor for the use of canine organic waste in Criadero Pandora Colombia
No full textA proposal was designed thinking about the implementation of a Chinese type biodigester also called a fixed dome for the company Criadero Pandora Colombia located in La Vega, Cundinamarca fed from canine feces with the addition of bovine feces as inoculum to start the process of anaerobic digestion. Currently the company is generating about 24 kg of dog excreta per day available for the operation of the biodigester. To carry out this proposal, chemical characteristics of the excreta were determined that allowed to limit the possible compositions of the feed inlet to the biodigester to later carry out a pre-experimentation in order to determine the most optimal composition, it turned out to be 3: 1 in regarding water and organic waste respectively.Se diseño una propuesta pensando en la implementación de un biodigestor tipo chino también llamado de cúpula fija para la empresa Criadero Pandora Colombia ubicada en La Vega, Cundinamarca alimentado a partir de heces caninas con la adición de heces bovinas como inóculo para dar inicio al proceso de digestión anaerobia. Actualmente la empresa está generando cerca de 24 kg de excretas caninas por día disponibles para el funcionamiento del biodigestor. Para la realización de esta propuesta se determinaron características químicas de las excretas que permitieron acotar las posibles composiciones de la entrada de alimentación al biodigestor para posteriormente realizar una pre-experimentación con el fin de determinar aquella composición más optima, resulto ser de 3:1 en cuanto a agua y desechos orgánicos respectivamente

Taking into account that knowledge must be had regarding the fluids present in the bottom, the limits of the reservoirs together with their characteristics and considering that with this information it will be possible to stipulate the best designs for future facilities, the most economical and viable way should be sought. to identify them.A través de los últimos años se ha visto una afectación realmente importante en los costos de producción y mantenimiento en los campos petroleros debido a una disminución en el precio del crudo a nivel internacional, el problema más importante de esto radica en que se vuelve más costoso producir un barril de petróleo, pero sus precios de venta disminuyen de forma sustancial. Buscando tener unos costos operacionales mucho menores desde la exploración, perforación, producción, transporte y venta del mismo se necesita llegar a tener sistemas más eficientes. Evaluation of the process for the obtaining of a biolubricant from the kitchen oil waste for a company dedicated to the treatment of oils
No full textThe purpose of this work was to use a used cooking oil (ACU) from a restaurant in Bogotá D.C for the study of the production of a biolubricant, through experimental development to find the best Operating conditions. Prior to the experimental development, a characterization of the raw material where it was evidenced by tests such as gas-mass chromatography, acid number, peroxide index, viscosity, among others that the sample analyzed is a mixture of oils that presented a high amount of oleic acid and palmitic acid; with those amounts in your composition and test results it was determined that the sample It resembled its behavior to a sunflower oil. Subsequently, it was compared experimentally and bibliographically obtaining the lubricant through two processes of synthesis (double stage of transesterification and enzymatic hydrolysis) where it was varied the type of catalyst to use; in the first one a basic catalyst, hydroxide, was used potassium (KOH), and in the second an enzymatic catalyst (Lipase) was used Aspergillius genetically modified).El propósito de este trabajo fue emplear un aceite de cocina usado (ACU) procedente de un restaurante de Bogotá D.C para el estudio de la producción de un biolubricante, a través de un desarrollo experimental para encontrar las mejores condiciones de operación. Previamente al desarrollo experimental, se realizó una caracterización de la materia prima donde se evidenció mediante ensayos como cromatografía de gases-masas, índice de acidez, índice de peróxidos, viscosidad, entre otros que la muestra analizada es una mezcla de aceites que presentaba una alta cantidad de ácido oleico y ácido palmítico; con dichas cantidades en su composición y los resultados en las pruebas se determinó que la muestra asemejaba su comportamiento a un aceite de girasol. Posteriormente, se comparó experimental y bibliográficamente la obtención del lubricante mediante dos procesos de síntesis (doble etapa de transesterificación e hidrolisis enzimática) donde se varió el tipo de catalizador a usar; en la primera se utilizó un catalizador básico, hidróxido de potasio (KOH), y en el segundo se utilizó un catalizador enzimático (Lipase Aspergillius modificada genéticamente).Biogras S.A.S
