Mango Export Plan to Canada
No full textThe purpose of this research work is to identify the viability for mango exports to Canada, based on a competitive business model and a market analysis. In this sense, the work seeks to serve as an application model and / or initial consultation to mango cultivation projects that seek to export to Canada and be internationally competitive. In this way, the established methodology is constituted from a theoretical or fundamental investigation, which consists on the analysis of knowledge of a phenomenon, through an explanatory principle of observable reality. Following this logic, the conclusions reached indicate that Colombia is a country that due to its geographical location and climatic nature has a high productivity in the agricultural sector. However, and although it has great advantages for agricultural production, its efforts in rural progress have been insufficient and mostly ineffective in positioning itself as a competitive economy in the agricultural sector at the international level. For this reason, the research and technological models can mean for the country an advance in mango exports.El propósito del presente trabajo de investigación consiste en identificar la viabilidad para exportación de mango a Canadá, basado en un modelo de negocio competitivo y un análisis de mercado. En ese sentido, el trabajo busca servir como modelo aplicativo y/o consulta inicial a proyectos de cultivo de mango que busquen exportar a Canadá y ser competitivos a nivel internacional. De esta manera, la metodología establecida se constituye a partir de una investigación teórica o fundamental, la cual consiste en el análisis de conocimiento de un fenómeno, a través de un principio explicativo de la realidad observable. Siguiendo esta lógica, las conclusiones alcanzadas indican que Colombia es un país que por su ubicación geográfica y naturaleza climática tiene una gran productividad en el sector agrícola. Sin embargo, y aunque tenga grandes ventajas para la producción agrícola, sus esfuerzos en el progreso rural han sido insuficientes y en su mayoría ineficaces al momento de posicionarse como una economía competitiva en el sector agrícola a nivel internacional. No full textThis project is based on the design of a vertical axis wind turbine for the rural area of the municipality of Quetame, Cundinamarca, in which a methodology was carried out in order to fulfill a series of objectives, which begin with the collection information by consulting different bibliographic sources on wind turbines, taking into account the most important aspects of vertical axis wind turbines; Subsequently, the study of the climatic conditions of the area was carried out, the development of the project continued, evaluating the alternatives on the profile of the palette, selecting the most suitable for the design. Next, the detailed design of the turbine was carried out following the "step by step" procedure, in which the corresponding calculations required by the machine for correct operation were carried out, such as the dimensions of the wind turbine, power system, system generation, structural system and control system.Este proyecto está basado en el diseño de un aerogenerador de eje vertical para la zona rural de municipio de Quetame, Cundinamarca, en el cual se llevó a cabo una metodología con el fin de dar cumplimiento a una serie de objetivos, que inician con la recolección de información consultando diferentes fuentes bibliográficas sobre aerogeneradores, teniendo en cuenta los aspectos más importantes de los aerogeneradores de eje vertical; posteriormente se realizó el estudio de las condiciones climáticas de la zona, se continuo con el desarrollo del proyecto, evaluando las alternativas sobre el perfil de la paleta seleccionando la más adecuada para el diseño. No full textThe Hidrolab Colombia LTDA laboratory located in the municipality of Cota, is dedicated to perform physicochemical, instrumental, bromatological and microbiological analyzes in water, soil and food. For the provision of the service, the consumption of natural resources stories such as water and energy used during the process of the analyzes previously affected are required. The provision of the service is aimed at companies from all industrial sectors that by environmental regulations must declare the quality of the water coming from their activities, which attributes to Hidrolab carrying out the characterization of its waters through the aforementioned analyzes. It should be noted that the majority of customers requesting service with Hidrolab have the implementation of the Environmental Management System, which motivates the laboratory to exhibit environmental responsibility behavior to its stakeholders based on the requirements of the International Standard ISO 14001: 2015. In Hidrolab the administrative and laboratory area is discriminated, both require the use of water and energy resources, however the former is more used in the laboratory area. Therefore, it is necessary and important to plan the implementation of the Environmental Management System that allows to know the environmental aspects associated with the various activities that are carried out, with the aim of taking measures that contribute to minimize or eliminate the environmental impacts that may be originate. This is done by defining action plans that aim to control the use of resources by the collaborating staff of the organization. From the above, certain elements are derived that have to do with the assessment of the risks that arise from the identification of environmental impacts.El laboratorio Hidrolab Colombia LTDA ubicado en el municipio de Cota, se dedica a realizar análisis fisicoquímicos, instrumentales, bromatológicos y microbiológicos en agua, suelos y alimentos. Para la prestación del servicio se requiere el consumo de recursos naturales tales como agua y energía utilizados durante los proceso de los análisis antes mencionados. La prestación del servicio está dirigida a empresas de todos los sectores industriales que por normativas ambientales deben declarar la calidad de las aguas provenientes de sus actividades, lo que atribuye a que Hidrolab realice la caracterización de sus aguas por medio de los análisis antes mencionados. Cabe destacar que la mayoría de clientes que solicitan servicio con Hidrolab cuentan con la implementación del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental, lo que motiva al laboratorio a exhibir un comportamiento de responsabilidad ambiental ante sus partes interesadas basado en los requisitos de la Norma Internacional ISO 14001:2015. En Hidrolab se discrimina el área administrativa y de laboratorio, ambas requieren el uso de los recursos agua y energía, sin embargo este primero es más usado en el área de laboratorio. Por lo anterior, se hace necesario e importante planificar la implementación del Sistema de gestión ambiental que permita conocer los aspectos ambientales asociadas a las diversas actividades que se realizan, con el objetivo de tomar medidas que contribuyan a minimizar o eliminar los impactos ambientales que se puedan originar. Lo anterior se hace mediante la definición de planes de acción que apunten a controlar el uso de los recursos por parte del personal colaborador de la organización. Environmental impacts of oil production in Colombia and its relationship with technological innovation in the last fifteen years
No full textThe environmental impacts Generated in oil production in Colombia are analyzed in this monograph for a solution for minimization. In this way, the present work provided an overview of the main impacts generated to the biotic, abiotic and socio-economic means during the oil exploitation, as well as the main activities to which they are attributed. Subsequently, the impacts were evaluated in a categorization form in the Super Decisions program with three proposed technologies. Consequently, a qualification of importance was obtained of both the impacts and the alternatives. In addition, an overview of the current situation of production water treatment in Colombia as a minimizer of the impact of production waters was reviewed, making an impact on the company Ecopetrol and its main advances in this area, and technologies that have yet to be implemented to minimize pollutants from various industrial wastewaters.Los impactos ambientales generados en la producción petrolera en Colombia son objeto de análisis en esta monografía en busca de una solución para su minimización. De esta forma, el presente trabajo brindó un panorama de los principales impactos generados a los medios biótico, abiótico y socioeconómico durante la explotación petrolera, así como las principales actividades a las cuales se atribuyen estos impactos. Posteriormente, estos impactos se evaluaron de una forma categorizada con el programa Super Decisions para lograr su minimización con jerarquización de tres tecnologías propuestas. Como resultado se obtuvo una calificación de importancia para cada impacto y cada alternativa. Además, se reseñó un panorama de la situación actual del tratamiento de aguas de producción en Colombia como minimizador del impacto de aguas de producción, haciendo énfasis en la empresa Ecopetrol y sus principales avances en este tema, y aquellas tecnologías que aún faltan por implementar para reducir al máximo los contaminantes de dichas aguas residuales industriales
