Summary of changes and rationale
The following changes are being implemented:
Removal of CHEM 247 as a course requirement for the Applied Biology Program
Decrease in the number of required Advanced Biology Elective Credits from 12 to 10 credits for the Applied Biology Program
Change credit hours for upper division lab courses BIOL 362, BIOL 382, BIOL 442, and BIOL 491L from 2 credits to 3 credits
Change in the number of required courses to accommodate for the increase in lab credits
Revision of BIOL 494
Creation of new service course: BIOL 143 –
Minor course change to Biol 481 to become Biol 351

3/24/2021: Course Change Form CS6813
This is a version of the CS 681 course that will be used in the MEng program. The general content is the same, but the depth of coverage of each topic will be slightly less to match the 3 versus 4 credit hours and the needs of the MEng students
3/24/2021: Course Change Form CS6013
This is a version of the CS 601 programming class that is designed for students without backgrounds in programming. The course is a 3 versus a 4 hour class so some of the later material on SQL may be covered in slightly less depth
3/24/2021: MGMT6193 - The Practical Project Management
The addition of this course supports the management component of the MEng degree program. MGMT 6193 will be one of the two required management courses in all four of the concentrations: General, Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Vehicles, and Electrified Vehicles

This course is a version of an existing course has been adapted for delivery in our new professionally-oriented Master of Engineering program. Students in the MSE programs are not eligible to take these courses

This is a unique course. As far as we know, no school offers such a course. This course prepares strategic leaders to leverage data-science for competitive advantage. The course will be taught using the case method along with the use of computer simulations
