    Trace Evidence vs Memory Evidence: Comparing Evidence Collection Tools

    Memory evidence and forensic evidence are both residual traces of an event. While traditional trace evidence (hair, fiber, blood, fingerprints, etc.) is left behind by a perpetrator, memory evidence resides in a person’s mind, usually that of a victim or witness. Both types of evidence have the possibility of contamination; given that memory evidence cannot be bagged and tagged like other types of forensic evidence, it is especially susceptible to contamination which can undercut its ultimate reliability. In court, jurors often have trouble conceptualizing the complexity of memory or even thinking about it as evidence at all. Drawing similarities between memory evidence and trace evidence provides a framework for jurors to make sense of evidence collection procedures as they relate to memory, including the concepts of training of the collectors, policies, procedures, protocols, tools, and analysis. By comparing forensic and memory collection tools, we can begin to understand memory evidence as a form of trace evidence

Pollex with four large tubercles distributed distally (Fig. 9C). On inner surface long row of tubercles extend from near tip to articulation of dactyl (Fig. 9C). Distal tip of pollex serrated and angled. Distal dactyl overlaps end of pollex (Fig. 9c). No oblique tubercle ridge across inner surface of lower manus (Fig. 9C). Walking legs thin with a few long setae (Fig. 9E). Merus width 33% length: female 35%, male 31%.     Adverse Childhood Experiences and Healthcare Access

    The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and healthcare access, and ACEs and healthcare access among people of color. The current study is a secondary data analysis of the 2023 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) data collected by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A disproportionate stratified sample (DSS) design and a simple random sample design were used to collect data. The current study examined 48,865 participants who completed ACEs through telephone surveys. The results showed a statistically significant negative relationship between ACEs and healthcare access. The results also showed that people of color have higher ACEs than Whites and less access to healthcare than Whites. The findings imply that medical social workers working with individuals who have experienced childhood adversity can identify barriers to accessing healthcare and create interventions to address those barriers. Further research is needed in order to better understand and address barriers to accessing healthcare

    The Easter Egg Strategy: An Analysis of Taylor Swift’s Easter Egg Strategy and Swiftie Engagement for the Midnights Album

    This thesis explores the effectiveness of the Easter egg marketing strategy through a case study of Taylor Swift’s Midnights album era, focusing on how hidden messages embedded in her promotional content impact fan engagement on TikTok. Easter eggs are deliberately hidden messages and references that encourage fans to decode hidden meanings and foreshadow future releases, such as music videos, guest appearances, and albums. The gamification strategy is similar to the Easter egg strategy, which means enhancing a service with affordances for gameful experiences to support users\u27 overall value creation. This study argues that Swift’s Easter egg approach fosters a loyal fan base through a collaborative environment that increases her social media engagement. Through a comparative analysis of six TikTok posts—three featuring Easter eggs and three without—data was collected on views, likes, comments, and shares to determine engagement metrics. Results showed that posts with Easter eggs generated higher engagement, with a 57.69% increase in views, 56.55% increase in likes, 44.07% increase in comments, and 75.79% increase in shares compared to non-Easter egg posts. While none of these results were significant at p \u3c 0.05, these findings suggest a potential positive trend of Easter eggs and fan engagement that should be further researched. While this strategy may not have the same effectiveness for other influencers or brands, Swift’s strategy positions her as a trendsetter in modern celebrity marketing
