But after coaching posts in Charleston, S.C., Hershey, Pa., and Toronto with the Maple Leafs, Spencer Carbery ’06 has reached rarified air in his profession: As of June 2023, Carbery is one of 32 head coaches in the National Hockey League (NHL).     Bryanna Fogel started her parks career the summer before her senior year at SNC as an intern for the Village of Bellevue Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department. What was meant to be a three-month internship quickly turned into 14 life-changing months. Bryanna’s internship inspired her to earn her master’s degree in social policy from the University of Pennsylvania where she focused her learning on the benefit of public land and recreation. Now, Bryanna is working at her dream job for Trust for Public Land where she gets to think about parks all day, every day
