No full textDuring 3-5 October 2018, SL USARB librarians participated in the Management Meeting and the Final Conference of the Project ",,Library Network Support Services: modernising libraries in Armenia, Moldova and Belarus through library staff development and reforming libraries [LNSS],”a project developed within the Erasmus + program financed by the European Union, which has carried out its work at the Academy of Public Administration and Alecu Russo Balti State University". Event participants visited the Erasmus + Projects Fair, implemented in the USARB, went to the Scientific Library USARB being led through the library's premises by director Elena Harconita. Project beneficiaries have signed a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation within the LNSS Consortium

L’utilisation de la transaction comporte en effet de nombreux avantages en droit social. Elle présente principalement l’intérêt d’éviter les longueurs d’une procédure judiciaire. La transaction constitue en quelque sorte une justice privée, qui fait toutefois l’objet d’une reconnaissance officielle par l’institution judiciaire: le Code civil confère à l’accord entre signataires l’autorité de la chose jugée en dernier ressort, ce qui signifie que l’affaire est définitivement réglée par la transaction et qu’il n’est plus possible de venir la contester devant un tribunal

These subjects, being analyzed in the light of logic approach of the spiritual culture phenomena, its problems and goals: are presented only as one-sided solutions as well as critical approach „the history of ideas” is. In fact, the history of mentality (popular history) and the history of ideas (scientistic history) require a new synthetic approach that would cover both approaches, mentioned above, as the complementary parts of a whole

Academic email requests: a challenge for EFL learners [Articol]
No full textThe study aims to investigate the level of pragmatic competence of Romanian learners of English when performing requests in academic email interaction. It focuses on the analysis of the linguistic form of authentic email requests written by students of USARB (Alecu Russo Balti State University) to faculty. The study examines the way politeness is expressed in academic email requests by analysing the level of directness employed, as well as the use of internal modification of the head act of request. The findings reveal cases of negative transfer of strategies from students’ mother tongue into English. This stresses the need for pragmatic instruction, which will contribute to developing the EFL learners’ pragmatic competence
