Aviation is a large field encompassing both civil aviation and military aviation. This guide focuses on the laws regulating civil aviation. This guide is also primarily focused on the law of suborbital powered flight in manned vehicles. Therefore, the guide does not cover any particular laws on space law, hot air balloons or drones, the latter topic of which has been covered in an earlier research guide published by Hein. This guide takes a two-prong approach to aiding the researcher in this area of law. In the first prong, the major sources of primary and secondary law are reported. In the second prong, primary and secondary authority relating to a particular topic are reported. These two prongs are realized in four parts.https://digitalcommons.law.ou.edu/fac_books/1074/thumbnail.jp
