The Uniform Triadic Transformation and Claude Debussy’s Music
Beginning with Claude Debussy’s Berceuse Héroïque, I analyzed each triad using chord symbols along with their Roman numeral representation (where applicable).1 Next, I used integer notation and modular arithmetic, where each pitch name is given a number such that C is 0 and B is 11, creating a set, the integers (mod 12).
This leads to the development of pitch-class sets where the “mode” of a triad or arbitrary number of pitches is expressed in terms of interval spacings. In many cases, such as that of 12-tone or other serialized music, pitch class sets explain many of the composer’s artistic choices where the mode of said set is inconsequential. I used this analytical technique to assign each triad their numbers mod 12 and an arithmetic symbol, −=minor, +=major, ÷=diminished, and ×=augmented (eg. 6!= F minor). Julian Hook’s representation is similar to mine, where the pitch class number and mode are represented, but as an ordered pair (eg. (6,−) = F minor).
Upon completing the analysis of Berceuse Héroïque, by these techniques, I realized the piece did not include any augmented triads. I aimed to show the group structure of UTTs using the four basic tertian triads, namely major, minor, diminished, and augmented. Therefore, my research required my finding a piece by Debussy containing such triads
Estrategia para Formar Discipulos na Uniao Sudeste Brasileria da Igreja Adventista do Setimo Dia
Problem
The work of district pastors of the Southeastern Brazilian Union Conference is typically coordinated by a team of eight to twelve administrators and departmental leaders. This structure, in practice, entails the responsibility of implementing an annual average of 48 official church programs with their respective materials, which takes up almost all of their weekends, the period in which has the most access to members. As a result, local church pastors do not have time to make disciples according to Jesus’ mandate in Matthew in the Great Commission (Mat 28:19-20). This study aims to create a discipleship program that answers the following question: How to meet the demands of a departmentalized church and still provide free time for pastors to make disciples in the local church?
Methodology
This research is related to discipleship, and in the line of applied theology. The research draws insights from biblical literature, the writings of Ellen G. White and contemporary literature. In addition, it analyses the pastoral context of the Southeastern Brazilian Union Conference, more specifically in the Espirito Santense Conference, in which a discipleship pilot program was presented by the researcher. In addition, field research was carried out to find answers to the research question.
Results
The research showed that it is possible for the pastor to work directly with his local church leaders and carry out the Conference\u27s projects. Almost all Conference\u27s projects were headed by district pastors. This new job structure allows pastors to organized his ministerial responsibilities in a manner that gives them the liberty to include time to form disciples in their districts.
Conclusion
Both pastors and district leaders of Seventh-day Adventist Brazilian Union understand the importance of the programs and literature organized and distributed by the Conference and Union administrators. However, the local church needs time to make new disciples in the communities where they are located. This investigation successfully accomplished both tasks

Predictors of audit quality: A confirmatory study
This study investigated the predictors of audit quality according to registered external auditors in Indonesia. Even though there are improvements in audit reports and practices, there is still some fraud and audit risk that affects the credibility of financial reports. This research is based on a random sample technique where 304 registered external auditors in Indonesia answered self-constructed research instruments and their validity was ascertained with exploratory factor analysis, where they resulted as good. The first-party distributed data were analyzed with multiple regression to determine the predictors of audit quality. The study revealed that internal controls, governance, and audit culture were positively significant predictors of audit quality. Based on this outcome, the Indonesian registered external auditors affirm that the detection, prevention, and correction controls, the systematic rules, practices, and process of directing and controlling a firm, and the values, beliefs, behaviors, and norms of the auditor and the audit firm increase fraud detection, reduce audit risk, and increase the credibility of the audited financial reports. The study recommends further research into the 39.7% excluded predictors of audit quality
H7 modulation of the L3 auditory neuron and phonotaxis in the cricket Acheta domesticus
Several studies have implicated the L3 auditory interneuron in the regulation of syllable period selective phonotaxis in female cricket Acheta domesticus. The L3\u27s response to model calls of conspecific males comprises of an immediate and a prolonged response. The kinetics of activation of these electrical activities are consistent with sequential activation of ionotropic and metabotropic mechanisms. In this study, we used electrophysiological and pharmacological tools to investigate the cellular mechanisms underlying L3\u27s response. Bath application of the synthetic protein kinase inhibitor 1-(5-isoquinolinesul-fonyl)-2-methylpiperazine (H7), results in the suppression of L3\u27s spiking response, and this effect can be reversed by saline wash. Additionally, when female A. domesticus that were previously nano-injected with H7 were tested for phonotaxis on a non-compensating treadmill, they demonstrated suppression of syllable period-dependent phonotaxis. These findings implicate protein kinase in the regulation of L3\u27s spiking rhythm and the associated phonotaxis in A. domesticus

Developing a Creation Care Community on the Campus of Andrews University
In early spring 2024, the president of Andrews University introduced an initiative to develop a Creation Care Community on the university campus. He supported this proposal with passages and concepts from the Bible that resonated with those on the campus which is an explicitly Christian institution. The president asked for faculty, staff, and student volunteers to join him in a Creation Care Council to discover andimplement a variety of steps to increase care for the environment on our campus. Eighteen volunteers formed five action groups to increase: 1) biodiversity, 2) energy conservation and use of renewal resources, and 3) recycling and better waste management on our campus, plus 4) raising social consciousness of these actions as well as 5) grant writing to fund the various initiatives. During the summer of 2024, themembers of the action groups began the research to discover and then prioritize what could be done on campus in their respective areas. In order to evaluate the progress of the action groups, a survey instrument was developed to measure the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of the members of the campus community on creation care. To date about 400 surveys have been completed and analysis of the responses is underway
