The Clarity and Obscurity of Inspired Writings: A Historical Survey from Late Antiquity to Early Nineteenth- Century America
No full textThroughout Christian history, pastors, scholars, and church leaders have discussed whether, or to what extent, Scripture is clear or obscure. This article surveys the views on the clarity and obscurity of Scripture as advocated by Christian writers in five eras from late antiquity to early nineteenth-century America. Writers in the Protestant tradition have generally objected to the common notions among Roman Catholics that Scripture is obscure, consists of a four-fold sense, and that normative teaching authority is in the hands of the magisterium. Lutheran, Reformed, and Pietist scholars have generally emphasized the importance of having an educated clergy that understands the biblical languages in order to arrive at the literal meaning of the biblical text. The positions adopted in these respective Protestant traditions, as well as the fact that heterodox interpretations have arisen within them, have led their leaders to ascribe the interpretative authority to some group such as the community of believers, pastors, or theologians. Antioxidant Activity of PAMAM Dendrimer Stabilized Ascorbic Acid
No full textAscorbic acid (vitamin C) is an essential micronutrient for human health. It acts as an enzymatic cofactor in anabolic biochemical pathways such as the synthesis of collagen, dopamine, and norepinephrine. Unfortunately, this versatility comes at the cost of a high degradation rate both in and outside of the food matrix. Previous research exploring stabilizing aqueous ascorbic acid through Poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimers found success in reducing the rate of degradation.
To confirm the antioxidant activity of ascorbic acid in its stabilized dendrimer complex, 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assays examined via Cary 5000 UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer found that performing the DPPH assay under aqueous conditions returned consistent results if inaccurate and that the G2-DAB-PEG PAMAM dendrimer stabilized ascorbic acid showed nearly equal antioxidant activity to non-stabilized ascorbic acid

Known for his populist and provocative style, Milei has surprisingly adopted a more moderate approach to the Malvinas, raising questions about how this aligns with his broader political agenda.
This study analyzes public statements from Milei from the presidential campaign to the present, analyzing them in the context of Argentinian politics and his political ideology. Javier Milei reframes Argentina’s sovereignty claim over the Malvinas by shifting public frustration away from the territorial dispute and toward criticism of a corrupt political “caste.” Through historical references, he constructs a vision of sovereignty aligned with the West and rooted in military strength. Through close textual and thematic analysis, this project seeks to shed light on Milei’s ideological stance and its implications for Argentina’s domestic and foreign policy
